<![CDATA[Abstract: This research aims to describe the level of scientific literacy textbooks of biology class X. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis method or document. Population in this research is all textbook of biology of class X X 2013 Curriculum used in Pekanbaru City and sample is textbook of biology curriculum 2013 class X Irnaningtyas work of publisher of Erlangga selected by purposive sampling technique. The research data is obtained from the results of the scientific literacy analysis of textbooks using the assessment instrument based on four dimensions of scientific literacy, namely science as a body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science as a way of investigation and interaction of science and technology society. The stages of the analysis are divided into two stages: the feasibility phase of the textbook of biology lesson and the analysis of the scientific literacy level of biology textbooks. Data analysis using descriptive statistics method. The result of data analysis shows that the most dominant dimension is science as the body of knowledge with the percentage score of 52.77%, the dimension of science as a way of thinking of 20.43%, the dimensions of science as the way of investigation of 15.40% and the dimensions of science technology interaction and the community 10.94%. Overall the level of scientific literacy of textbooks of biology class X has an average of 25% with the category less good.Key words : Literacy, Scientific Literacy, Biology Textbook.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract : This study aims to examine the effect of firm size and capital structure on firm value. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which have data (company size, capital structure, and company value) 5 years in a row (2009 to 2013). The data obtained from Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) of each company. Data analysis techniques used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that firm size and capital structure simultaneously affect the value of the company. While partially, firm size have negative effect to firm value and capital structure have positive effect to firm value.Keywords: Size, Capital Structure, Firm Value]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The phenomenon shows the much of students who play online games. Excessive students playing online games will make themselves addicted. Students who play these games online tend to have an emotional nature that affects themselves and others. One of the effects of online game addiction is declining learning achievement and anti social. The purpose of this research is 1) to know the description of online game addiction among students, 2) to know the description of the psychological condition of students who play online games. The population of this study is the students of class IX which consisting of 3 classes and the sample of this research as many as 28 students. The technique used is purposive sampling. This research is quantitative descriptive. Instrument data collection using a questionnaire which is then analyzed by classifying the data and technique the percentage. The results of this study is the duration of playing time 3-4 hours in a day; where online game play at home; types of games favored by students namely Mobile Legend and Dota; students who are addicted to online games have health problems on the eyes and hands and make the motivation to learn to decline; social adjustment of students who make relationships become tenuous and ignore others. While the psychological condition of students who are addicted to online games about their feelings is happy to return home early; the angry emotion experienced by the respondent is generally irritable when a friend says rudely; sad emotions experienced by respondents generally are disappointed when the desire is not met, then the fear of emotion experienced by respondents who are anxious when going to the exam because of lack of learning.Keywords: Addiction of online game, Psychological condition]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract : This research is motivated by problems that occur in the filed, namely (1) Students PKBM Fatma Vision Success consist of children of drugs, neglected childeren and street children (2) Parents pay less attention to children’s learning activities (3) There are still parents who letting the child behave at will when the child makes a mistake, so the parent more often tekes the attitude does not care about the child’s attitude. The research method used is descriptive research with quantitaive apporoach. It is planned to be implemented since February 2018 at PKBM Fatma Visi Sukses. The results showed that the indicator of permissive parenting is the most dominant applied by parents. The indicators of authoritarian parenting are quite high. <![CDATA[Abstract: This study aimed to find out the effect of the ball obstacle course to gross motor skills of children aged 4 – 5 years old at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru. This study utilizes experimental method by one group pre-test post-test design. The samples taken in this study were 15 children of early age. While data collection techniques used is the observation. The data analysis technique uses t-test by utilizing SPSS 21 software. The analysis results of the data processing before the given treatment through the obstacle ball course, the gross motor skills of the 4 -5 years old children at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru obtained a total value of 172 with an average value is 11.47 and the analysis results of the data processing after the given treatment through the obstacle ball course, the gross motor skills of the children aged 4 -5 years at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru obtained a total value of 299 with an average value is 19.93. Based on data analysis, it can be seen that t-calculate = 17,398> t-table = 2.145 to Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000. Because of Sig <0,05 it can be concluded that there is a difference in gross motor skills before and after the obstacle ball course done. It can be interpreted that there is an effect of giving the obstacle ball course to gross motor skills of 4-5 years old children at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru signified as much 41,23%.Keyword: Gross motor skills, ball obstacle course]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find find out if there is influence of exercise variation on servis skill of takraw extracurricular studients of SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir . The design of this study uses a group of the research is wearing the approach one group pretest-postest design, with population extracurricular students of SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir 15 people. The sample in this study, using a technique the total sampling are used is a sample of saturated and that’s where all the population as a sample. The instrument used pre-test and post-test with purposing to know the service skill of Takraw ectracurricular student. Process of data used statistic, to know the normality test with lilifors test on significance level α (0,05). Hypothesis was used there is the effect of exercise variation on service skill of takraw extracurricular student of SMPN 1Kubu Rokan Hilir. Based on the statistical data analysis, the data pre-test was 0.217 and post test was 0.167 and Ltabel 0.227 so the data was normal with increasing the score (d) was 2,48. Based on the analysis of T-test get 3,81 and T-table 1,76, it mean T-test > T-table. Hence, there is the effect of exercise variation on service skill of takraw extracurricular students of SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir.Key Words : Exercise variation, Takraw service skill]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research discusses the technique of rhetoric of Ustadz Abdul Somad. The data in this study was obtained from Ustadz Abdul Somad's lecture "Beautiful Life Under Shade of Islamic Shariah, Five Preparations for the Holy Month of Ramadan, Tablig Akbar HUT Kab. The 19th Right Way, and the Favors of Independence ". This research is qualitative research. Data techniques are downloading, viewing and listening. The results of this study indicate that the techniques used Ustadz Abdul Somad in the lecture of ethos techniques, pathos, logos, and rekreatif. From the results of the dominant technique research is the ethos technique used Uastad Abdul Somad from other techniques. Meaning that Ustadz Abdul Somad does have extensive knowledge. That is also the reason why Ustadz Abdul Somad is loved by many circles. <![CDATA[Abstract : Emotional intelligence (EQ) is a person’s ability to accept, manage and control the emotions of himself and the people around him. This emotional intelligence refers to the feelings of someone who makes someone inclined to act. Spritual Islam (Rohis) is an organization strengthening and deepening religios teaching. Rohis includes activities carried out outside of face-to-face lessons. Where students who follow extracurricular will be higher emotional intelligence than students who do not follow extracurricular activities. This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence include self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, emphaty and social skills. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of research that has been done on 30 subjects in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru note that the emotional intelligence is 56,67%. Where can be reviewwed from the highest indicator include, motivation, self-awareness, and self-regulation. This means that students who have high emotional intelligence they feel happy to follow the activities of Rohis, a little temperament, and have a strong desire to continue to improve performance.Keyword : Emotional Intelligence, Active Student Rohis.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research titled Learning Point in Simalungun Batak Marriage Ceremony. This research aims to understand clearly point to teach conveyed in the execution of the wedding ceremony of the indigenous Batak Simalungun. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The end result of this research is a descriptive narrative that is thoroughly accompanied interpretation that interpret the entire aspects of the culture. In accordance with these characters, this research seeks to obtain information that is as complete as possible about the execution of the wedding ceremony Batak Simalungun, from Partuha Maujana Simalungun (PMS) in Simalungun Country. The data in this research is pointing to verbal and non verbal learning in the implementation pekawinan Batak Simalungun. The validity of the data obtained by the technique of triangulation. Then, the data were analyzed by identifying and classifying based on the stage of the wedding ceremony. Results of the study, found the top ajar in Simalungun Batak marriage ceremony amounted to 83, Division of data the data i.e. (1) non verbal learning point shaped totaled 54 data, and (2) verbal learning point shaped totaled 29 data.Key Words: Learning, Pointing to the Wedding Ceremony, Batak Simalungun]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this research was conducted to find out if there is theeffect of horizontal swing exercise towards shoulder and arm muscle power on athletespplp riau pekanbaru. Type of research used is experiment and using one preetestposttestdesign. Population is research in athletes tennis pplp riau pekanbaru is theentire populations of 6 people. While the sample technique used is total sampling(saturated sample) where all the population is sampled. The sample in this amounted to6 people of athletes tennis pplp riau pekanbaru. The instrument used two-hand medicineball. After that, the data is processed with statistics, normality test with lilifors test atsignificance level ɑ (0.05). The hypothesis is The Effect Of Horizontal Swing ExerciseToward Shoulder And Arm Muscle Power In Mens’s Tennis Athlete Pplp RiauPekanbaru. Based on the analysis of statistical data, there are an average pree-test315,16 and an average post-test 368,33, then the data is normal with an increase of50,17 . Based on t test analysis produces t hitung = 10.26 > t tabel = 1.943. Meaning t hitung> t tabel.
