Abstract

Abstract: This research is intended to know the correlatioan between Emotional Quotient (EQ) and the learning creativity of State Primary School 37 students Pekanbaru. The population in this research is around 112 students of class IV at State Primary School 37 Pekanbaru. The technique is used in this research is positive Sampling Technique. The method used is Product Correlation Moment to see the correlatioan between variable of emotional quotient and learning creativity. The technique of collecting data uses try out scale and statistic method analyses by using SPSS verse 22. Based on the result of the try out hypotheses, there is a significant correlatioan between emotional quotient and learning creativity of students at State Primary School 37 Pekanbaru. It can be known from the correlation of coefficient value about 0,448 and significant level 37,596 ) 1,97. The level of the correlatioan between coefficient determinant value is around 0,200 it means that emotional quotient gives influence around 20 % towards learning creativity students at State Primary School 37 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Emotional Quotient, learning creativity

Abstract

Abstract: Sheikh Yusuf is a scholar from Makasar who was born in Gowa, South Sulawesi July 13, 1627 under the name Muhammad Yusuf was given by Sultan Alaudin of the Gowa Kingdom itself. Muhammad Yusuf was taught religious sciences in Cikoang, and also wandering knowledge in various places including hajj at the age of 18 and temporarily settled in the Middle East to deepen the religion of Islam. The popularity of Joseph and his intellectual oceans is valued by many people as Sheikh Yusuf Al Makassari based on his origin, Makassar. Sometimes there is also add to give honorary title of Al Bantani (from Banten) which commonly used propagator and cleric. This study aims to determine: (1) to know the life history of Sheikh Yusuf while still in Indonesia. (2) To know how the process of traveling Sheikh Yusuf arrived in South Africa. (3) To know the struggle of Sheikh Yusuf in South Africa. This study uses the social sciences method, especially historical research methods, which can be used to approach the problem of the biography of Sheikh Yusuf in spreading Islam in Africa with data collection techniques to understand relevant books, archives, articles and documents. The results of this study show that (1) Sheikh Yusuf is a scholar from Indonesia precisely in Makassar (2) Sheikh Yusuf was thrown into Sri Lanka because he threatened the existence of the Dutch because he preached to the population about the danger of the Netherlands in Indonesia (3) Sheikh Yusuf in exile to Africa South because in Sri Lanka he preaches to the pilgrims because Sri Lanka is a haven for the pilgrims when leaving for pilgrimage to Mecca.Keywords: The Process of the Struggle of Sheikh Yusuf.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the learning process and improve the learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTS Nahdiyah Tapung Hilir odd semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Form of research conducted is action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The subjects consisted of 14 male students and 21 female students with heterogeneous ability. Instrument in this research of development there are 2 that is learning devuce and instrument dara collection. Instrument of data collection in this research is observation sheet and test of mathematics learning result. The observation sheets were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while the mathematics learning outcomes were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. From the qualitative analysis it can be seen that there is improvement of learning process from before action to cycle I and cycle II. Students are seen actively participating and becoming more independent in the learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached the KKM increased from the basic score of 16 students (45.71%) to UH I amounted to 28b people 80%) and UH 2 amounted to 31 people (88,57%)..The result of this research shows that applying cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach can improve learning process and can remind learning result mathematics students of class VIII MTS Nahdiyah Tapung Hilir academic year 2017/2018 on the subject matter of analyze data besed on data attribution, mean, median, mode and data distribution to take conclusion. And explain the empirical an theoretical opportunies of an event from an experiment.Keywords: Mathematics learning outcomes, Cooperative learning, Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aimed to increase student achievement by application of active learning strategies types reviews style game Hollywood Squares on learning topic of Reaction On Reduction And Oxidation in X MIPA SMA N 12 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are X MIPA-3 as the experimental class, X MIPA-4 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with the application of active learning strategies types Hollywood Squares Review while the control group without the application active learning strategies types Hollywood Squares Review. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 3,51 and ttable = 1,66 with α=0,05, dk=69. tcount > ttable is 3,51 > 1,66, It’s mean that the application of active learning strategies types reviews style game Hollywood Squarescan improve students achievement on the subject of reaction on reduction and oxidation in X MIPA SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru.Key Word : Learning Achievment, Hollywood Squares Review, and Reaction of Reduction and Oxidation

Abstract

Abstract: Sultan Siak Shelter House is a house built by H. Nurdin Putih in 1895 and later occupied by H. Zakaria bin H. Abdul Muttalib or better known as Mr. Qadhi Zakaria. Mr. Qadhi Zakaria is a leader of Sharia Law in Siak kingdom located in Siak Sri Indrapura, Tuan Qadhi Zakaria has a house located on the banks of Siak River in Senapelan area. When Sultan Sharif Kasyim II visited Pekanbaru, Mr. Qadhi's house was made a resting place by the Sultan and his guards. This house is also used as a gathering place and a meeting place by the Sultan and the scholars who are in Senapelan. Tuan Qadhi's house was first renovated in 1928, the material used as a replacement for the old part of the house in came from Singapore, the renovation of the house was done after the arrival of Sultan Syarif Kasyim II to Pekanbaru. Aside from being a stopover for Sultan Sharif Kasym II, Tuan Qadhi's house is also used in religious, social and political activities, this house was once occupied and then made headquarters by the Dutch army in 1939. Furthermore the home of Mr. Qadhi was re-occupied by Mr. Qadhi's family until the year 1994, but Mr. Qadhi's family decided to sell the house and move to a new home, where Mr. Qadhi's house was bought by an old iron entrepreneur named Atan Gope. In 2010 this house began in the conservation and purchased by the city government Pekanbaru, because the house has a long history and a considerable role for the Sultan and the kingdom of Siak. The renovation is done back to this house in 2012, now this house has been used as a cultural heritage site and around the house built park for family recreation. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the factors that cause juvenile delinquency in at bukit maratur village subdistrict siantar martoba city pematang siantar. This research type is descriptive with quantitative approach. The population in this study are adolescents who live in the village of at bukit maratur village subdistrict siantar martoba pematang siantar city, amounting to 45 people. The sampling technique was determined based on Isaac and Michael table with 5% error level, so the sample in this research is 40 people. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire containing 43 statements about factors causing juvenile delinquency in the village of hill maratur siantar martoba subdistrict siantar siantar city, with indicators of factors from within self, family factors, environmental factors society, the factor of the school, consists of 7 sub indicators are divided into 14 dimensions. The result of data analysis shows that the factor of juvenile delinquency in at bukit maratur village subdistrict siantar martoba pematang siantar city, is observed from the factor in the self itself on the sub self control indicator is high with the percentage value of 72.99%. On the sub indicator of moderate / moderate sufficiency, the percentage of 54.00% and the sub-indicator of the lack of basic religious beliefs is high with the percentage of 66.99%. Viewed from family environmental factors on sub indicators less affection is high with percentage 69.16%. In sub indicators of family life is not harmonious also quite high with a percentage of 64.87%. Judging from environmental factor of society on sub environmental indicator is not conducive pertained to high with percentage value 67,62% while viewed from factor originating from school on sub indicator of teacher factor enough / moderate with percentage 55.49%. Based on the results of the research can be seen that the factors causing juvenile delinquency in the village of Bukit Maratur Siantar Martoba Subdistrict Pematang Siantar City is the most dominant factor derived from the environment community on sub environmental indicators that are not conducive to the dimensions of high crime.Keywords: Factors causing juvenile delinquency, siantar martoba

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a strong power effect on the speed of writing sickle at the athletes of girls pencak silat walet puti pelalawan. The types of research conducted is descriptive to know the main variables with other variables. The population in this study is the athlete of martial arts daughter walet puti pelalawan talking 12 people. The sample technique used is total sampling (saturated samples), where all the population is sampled. Thus the sample in this study is 12 people samples of female athletes pencak silat walet puti pelalawan. The instrument is a long jump without prefix. After that, the data were processed with statistics, to test the normality by the lilifors test at a significant level of α (0.05). Hypothesis in the proposed is the relationship of explosive muscle limb power to the speed of sickle kick at the athlete's daughter martial arts walet puti pelalawan. Based on the results of the analysis, there is an average of X 155.6 and Y 19.58 there is an average installation of 1.635 with r test count = 0.869> from r table = 1.602. Means r arithmetic> r table. Thus tedapat relation of explosive muscle limb power to the speed of sickle kick at the athletes of girls pencak silat swallow puti pelalawan. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes of Physics IPA through the application of cooperative learning model Probing Prompting type. This research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of the study were the students of class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII B as the control class. The data collection instrument was a test of cognitive learning outcomes given to the sample as pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that the average ability of students with the application of cooperative learning model Probing Prompting type is higher conventional learning. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Probing Prompting type can improve students’ learning outcomes of Physics IPA in Force in SMP Negeri 7 Tambang Kampar.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Probing Prompting Type, Cognitive Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical understanding skill by applying Discovery Learning (DL) model. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. This research was conducted in class X science 2 MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi in the second semester of academic year 2017/2018 to 27 students. The required data are qualitative and quantitative data. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Student Activity Sheets) and instruments for collecting data (Observation Sheets and Mathematical-Understanding Tests). Qualitative data were collected by observation technique and analyzed by descriptive narrative analysis. Quantitative data were collected by test technique and analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis. Based on the analysis of the observation sheets showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Result of the test indicates that the student’s learning achievement for the first is 40,4 improved in cycle I to 60,2 and improved to 89.62 in cycle II. The improvement of student’s learning achievement founded for each indicator of mathematical understanding skill: redefine the concept, provide examples and not examples the concept, and applying concepts to solve the problem. This study concludes that the implementation of DL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical understanding skill at class X science 2 MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi in the second semester of academic year 2017/2018.Key Words: discovery learning, mathematical understanding skill, learning process

Abstract

Abstract : The objectives of this study are to observe what types of code-mixing and the linguistic features of English lexical items of code-mixing used in the headlines of economic-business issues in local newspapers. The study was conducted from March to April 2018 by using mixed method which combines both descriptive qualitative and quantitative method. Findings reports that the most dominant types of code-mixing used are intra-sentential code-mixing (93%) followed by involving a change of pronunciation (5%), and intra-lexical code-mixing (2%). The most dominant the linguistic feature of English lexical items of code-mixing used are proper noun (54.32%) followed by common noun (19.14%), abbreviation (14.20%), adjectives (6.17%), verb (3.09%), prefix (1.85%) and adverb (1.23%).Keyword : Sociolinguistics, Code-Mixing, Headlines
