Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the low motivation of learning PPKn of the students at SMK N 1 Kota Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there any significant effect of using Team Quiz learning model to students’ motivation in learning PPKn at SMK N 1 Kota Pekanbaru ?". This study aims to determine the effect of using Team Quiz learning model to students’ motivation in learning PPKn at SMK N 1 Kota Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMK N 1 Kota Pekanbaru in April 2018. This research was a quantitative descriptive which is experimental research which the students of grade X SMK N 1Kota Pekanbaru became the population in this study. The sample in this research was taken based on "Random Sampling" technique. Where the class taken into the sample was students of class X MB2 (experimental class) given the learning model of Team Quiz, and class X ADP1 (control class) were students who were given the conventional method. Then data analysis by using homogeneity test and "t" test. Based on the result of research indicated that there was an effect of learning motivation between student who using Team Quiz learning model and conventional method in SMK N 1 Kota Pekanbaru ( > ). Where there was an average increase to motivation in learning PPKn of experimental class from 19.17 to 26 and the average of PPKn learning motivation of control class from 19,16 to 19,63. Thus the hypothesis which reads that there is an effect of using Team Quiz learning model to students’ motivation in learning PPKn at SMK N 1 Kota Pekanbaru, can be accepted.Key Words: Team Quiz, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract : Tradition is everything in the form of customs, habits and beliefs that have been distributed or passed down by the community from generation to generation generations so as to create a tradition that is still to be done. Tradition contained in the village of Onanrunggu II is Mamoholi tradition, this tradition is done by the Batak Toba people to welcome the birth of a child in their family. The purpose of this research is to explain about the tradition of welcoming the birth of children in Toba Batak custom. The author uses historical methods, namely heuristics, interpretation, and historiography, and qualitative methods with data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the research results in the field that in welcoming the birth of a child Batak Toba community in the village of Onanrunggu II perform various rituals or customary activities as a form of thanksgiving to the presence of God Almighty for the birth of a child in one family. Tradition Welcoming the birth of a child called Mamoholi belongs to a great customary celebration because it presents the complete elements of Dalihan Na Tolu(Three of the Furnace),and there are some important processions that must be done in traditional ceremonies to welcome the birth of this Mamoholi child. The ritual performed has a high spiritual meaning in the life of the Batak Toba community and various functions. This tradition has been handed down in the village of Onanrunggu II, and various efforts made by the Batak Toba community in Onanrunggu II village so that this tradition is still implemented. One of them is to impose social sanctions for those who do not implement it.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to describe the level of sains process skill at the second year students of IPA program of SMA 9 Pekanbaru. This research was a survey research. The result of the data analysis used descriptive analysis which described the level of student’s sains process skill. The subject of this research was 109 students of IPA program at the second year. The data gotten from this research was in average percentages of the mastering of science process skills with indikator observing, classifying, interpreting, predicting, asking question, hypotheses, planning the experiment, apply the concept, and communicate. The data analysis result show that the average percentages of each indikators as follows: 83,49% for observing skills, 80,73% for classification skills, 63.00% for interpreting skills, 88,99% for prediction skills, 54,13% for skills of asking questions, 13,76% for hypothetical skills, 65,14% for skill of planning the experiment, 62,39% for skills applying concepts, and 74,01% for communication skills. The overall percentages of the students’ process science skill is 65,07% categorized good. It prove that the mostering of the science process skill of students is be usually higher.Key words: Science Process Skills

Abstract

Abstrak: The problem in this study is that a power deficiency in leg muscle, it is seen from the results of various observations during the 6 times exercise meeting and at the time of the match and this is one of the factors that cause the defeat. This type of research is a experiment to see the effect of the form of exercise. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of side hop exercise to muscle power of the limbs on the youth boy pencak silat team okido pekanbaru.The population in this study were the 4 athletes of youth boy pencak silat okido pekanbaru. Sampling technique i.e. by using total sampling, where the number of the overall population sampled. Techniques of data retrieval get of preetest and posttest. The instrument in this study is use the standing board jump as a tool to measure leg muscle power. The analysis is conducted by using t-test. Based on the analysis of data and discussion, it can be concluded that there is significant influence of side hop exercise to the leg muscle power of athletes pencak silat the of the youth boy athletes of pekanbary okido proven with Tcount amounted to 14.48 and Ttable 2,353. Abstract

Abstract : Data analysis technique used is through the test of validity by expert value of character and expert on curriculum learning, in that case validated by Dr. Hambali, M. Si and Dr. Charlina, M. Hum. While the data analysis in this study, researchers collect test results, correct and give scores, then calculate the average of the research. In the subtheme of togetherness and diversity, in the implementation of learning, found the teacher develops the value of religious character, honest, tolerance, discipline, curiosity, and responsibility to learners. While on the occurrence of character values in children through questionnaires are distributed when the subtheme togetherness of diversity takes place with the percentage of religious gain 75.6%, tolerance 74.6%, discipline 73.6%, care 73.2%, honest 72.2% , and 67.1% responsibility. Then on the grateful subthemes of diversity found the teacher develops the value of religious character, honest, tolerance, discipline, curiosity, environmental care, social care, and responsibility to learners. With the acquisition percentage of religious 75,5%, tolerance 68,2%, discipline 70%, care 71%, honest 74,8%, and responsibility 66,2%. Furthermore, on the subtheme of energy sources, found the teacher develop the value of religious character, honest, tolerance, discipline, curiosity, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. with the percentage gain is religious 72,6%, tolerance 66,1%, discipline 68,4%, caring 68,6%, honest 72,1%, and responsibility 64,4%. Then on the subtheme of my nation's cultural diversity, it was found that teachers developed values of religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, curiosity, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. With the percentage of religious gain 76,5%, tolerance 75,4%, discipline 70,7%, caring 70,2%, honest 68,2%, and responsibility 62,3%. Based on the analysis of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum learning as a whole has implemented seven character values, in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation no. 64 Year 2013, on Basic and Secondary Education Content Standards. The values of these characters are religious, honest, disciplined, responsible, caring, polite, and confident. The character values that appear in the learning of the 2013 curriculum by students, based on the questionnaire that has been disseminated, are mostly developed in childrenKeywords: Value of character, learning curriculum 2013.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the types and contents of guidance and counseling programs and find out implementation. The subjects of the study are BK teacher and 25% of the students receivinging the services. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data were obtained through questionnaire and documentation. The results show that counseling teachers a) applied 17 plus patterns, the planned programs are orientation services, information services, placement and distribution services, content mastery services, individual counseling services, group counseling services, group counseling services, consulting services, mediation services, instrumentation applications, data sets, case conferences, display libraries, home visits, and hand over cases. The unplanned services are advocacy services and unplanned guidance areas are family guidance and religious guidance. b) Implement the program Guidance and counseling services in vocational schools are categorized well. The most frequently implemented services are individual counseling services> 20 times and information services 10-15 times, support services activities that have never been implemented is hand over the case because based on the case book, there is no student problem that needs to be followed up by hand-transfer case. Supporting factors for counseling and counseling services are individual counseling rooms, counselor rooms, meeting rooms, administration rooms, storage rooms, data storage rooms and skateholders also participate. Inhibiting factors in group counseling and group guidance are inadequate counseling rooms. c) the results of students receiving counseling and guidance services need to be included in the class of materials, there is a change that the students feel after consulting with teachers of Guidance and counseling. Abstract

Abstract : The development of the Era of Globalization in the 21st century has caused many remarkable changes. These changes also arise problems that can cause destruction and damage in many ways, not apart also in the world of education. Bringing great impact with the occurrence of behavior deviation among students, one of which is smoking addiction behavior. The high level of cigarette consumption for teenagers as well as the young age of starting to smoke among students need to get special attention again. Objectives of the study 1) To know the description of smoking addiction behavior of high school students Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. 2) To know the confidence of students addicted to smoking in SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The research method is descriptive quantitative, with purposive sampling technique. Research conclusions 1) The level of smoking addiction behavior in students is in the high category. While the behavior of smoking with the number of cigarettes in the suction per day between 10-20 stems per day; the amount of cigarettes per day between Rp 10.000-20.000; age started smoking at age 9 years; the source of the cigarette money comes from work; daily smoking time which starts with 5 minutes after waking up; the reason to start smoking is because they have friends who smoke and smoke together; and where smoking is marked by smoking in public places with friends in familiar places of association. 2) The level of confidence in students is in the high category. While confidence shows responsible results; rational; optimistic; belief in self-efficacy; and objective. For confidence in the show include able to complete personal needs; schools make rules to be more disciplined; has advantages that can be developed; doing something will be done to completion even if it is difficult; and are confident of a good future if you want to learn earnestly and success is gained by trying.Key Words : Smoking Addiction Behavior, Self Confidence

Abstract

Abstract: History is the knowledge of events and events that actually happened in the past in the life of society. The establishment of pesantren as a modern educational institution that upholds ketradisionalan society, is an important historical event. The purpose of this research are: (1) To know the process of establishment of boarding school Syafa'aturrasul. (2) To know the driving factor and the establishment of Islamic boarding school of Syafa'aturrasul. (3) To know the development of Islamic boarding school of Syafa'aturrasul from 1988-2015. (4) To find out how the public response to Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul. The result and discussion was the Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul on 27 December 1988. The establishment of Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul in line with the needs and ideals of the noble nation of Indonesia, especially Kuantan Singingi Regency which was pioneered by H. Amazone YS and H. Ir. Ahmiyul Ra'uf who had the idea to form an Institution of Pondok Pesantren. The educational institution aims to educate the reliable human resources for the santri who will become useful for the nation and the nation. In the establishment of this pesantren cottage must have a driving factor and its obstacles, among others is the encouragement of society to the establishment of this pesantren hut while the inhibitor is one of them is in the field of finance. The development of pesantren is very rapidly from year to year, both in terms of facilities and infrastructure. Pondok Pesantren also has a response from the community, the community is very supportive and encouraging towards the establishment of this pesantren cottage. The establishment of Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul in line with the needs and ideals of the noble nation of Indonesia, especially Kuantan Singingi Regency which was pioneered by H. Amazone YS and H. Ir. Ahmiyul Ra'uf who had the idea to form an Institution of Pondok Pesantren. The educational institution aims to educate the reliable human resources for the santri who will become useful for the nation and the nation. at the beginning of the establishment has 8 students or students by using the mosque as a place of teaching and learning process. Abstract

Abstract: The research about Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model has been done in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose of study is to improve learning achievement of learners on the subject of solubility equilibrium in class XI science SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The type of research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample of the study consisted of 2 classes, class XI MIA1 as experimental class and class XI MIA5 as the control class chosen randomly after homogeneity test. The experimental class is applied to the SSCS learning model, while the control class does not apply the SSCS learning model. The data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on the above analysis test data obtained thitung>ttabel that is 4,68 >1,66, meaning the impelementation of learning model SSCS can improve student learning achievement on the subject of solubility equilibrium in class XI science SMAN 2 Pekanbaru with category increase in learning achievement high that is 0,83.Keywords : Learning Achievement, SSCS Learning Model, Solubility Equilibrium

Abstract

Abstract : This research entitled Cultural Defense in the novel of the Hidden Moon in the Sky of America by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The purpose of this study is to describe how the cultural defense in the novel Moon Breaded in the Sky of America by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that tries to tell the existing problem solving based on existing data. The source of data in this study is cultural defense in the novel Moon Breaded in the Sky America by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. Based on the research, 84 cultural defense data were found in the form of language, knowledge system, life equipment and technology, belief or religious system. The details of data related to cultural defense are (1) language 2 data; (2) knowledge system 2 data; (3) live equipment and technology 3 data; (4) trust or religious system 47; and data that do not preserve the culture are (1) language 21 data; (2) religious system 2 data; (3) live equipment and technology 7 data; (4) belief or religious system 0 data. The results of this form of data that retain culture and do not maintain the culture in the novel Moon Splitted in the Sky America by Hanum Salsbiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra.Keywords: defense, culture, the Moon is split in the sky of America.
