Abstract

Abstract: The porpuse of this research is to investigate the influence of cooperative learning type inside-outside-circle toward child’s speaking ability 5 to 6 years old. This research was done at RA At-Taqwa Pengalihan, Enok sub - district Indragiri Hilir. The is experiment research design by one group pre-test post-test design. The population is the children at RA At-Taqwa pengalihan, Enok sub- district Indragiri Hilir regency by the total is 15 children. The technique collection data is observation. Based on the hypothesis test the score tcount is 29,45 >t table =2,145 bysig 0,000, because sig < 0.05 then there is a difference between the abiliy to speak a child of the age of the year. There is influence of cooperative learning type inside-outside-circle toward child’s speaking ability 5 to 6 years old at RA At-TaqwaPengalihan, Enok sub - district Indragiri Hilir regency is 29, 45%.Keywords: Speaking Ability, Cooperative Learning Type Inside-Outside-Circle

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the skills associated with the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions. Population and sample in this research that is all teacher of Kindergarten in District KubuBabussalamRokanHilir Regency as many as 55 people. The data collection technique is using observation. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. The skills of managing the early childhood teachers' classes in KubuBabussalam sub-district of RokanHiir Regency are categorized as sufficient. This means that PAUD teachers in KubuBabussalam Sub-district of RokanHilir Regency are sufficient in performing their duties as educators and able to run their management skills adequately. Skill indicators related to the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions are in either category. This means that early childhood teachers in KubuBabussalam sub-district RokanHilir district have been able to achieve the goals of classroom management skills. This is evidenced by showing responsiveness, paying attention, focusing the group, providing clear clues, rebuking, and reinforcing. Skill indicators related to optimal return of learning conditions, are in enough categories. This means that PAUD teachers in KubuBabussalam sub-district of RokanHilir district are quite able to modify children's behavior, using group problem-solving approach and can find and solve the problematic behavior.Keywords: Manage Classroom Skills

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase student mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research are student of class VII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Kampar Timur in academic years 2017/2018, which are 29 students, consist of 15 boys and 14 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research is the observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria of knowledge increase from basic score to UH-I and UH-II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (24,14%) to the first UH-I (48,24%) to the UH-II (79,31%) thus it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Kampar Timur in academic years 2017/2018 for the sets.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstrak: Chatib Sutan is a fighter figure Indonesian republic independence’s pioneer who was from Cerenti, the regency of Kuantan Singingi. Someone used to be said an independence’s pioneer was those who struggled to bring Indonesian nation to the acme of Independence destination and also those who were recognized and legitimaked by a social ministry decree of Indonesian republic. The objective of this research is to find the biography of Chatib Sutan from his childhood, education, household life to his struggles in doing pioneering work in Indonesian the data were gained from books telling stories of Chatib Sutan’s struggles and bg doing a feew interviews with reliable people on the remarks they gave. The location of the research was in the subdistrick of Cerenti, the regency of Kuantan Singingi. This research was conducted starting from being issued a research letter until this thesis finished. The data collection technique used in this research were interview, documentation, and libary observation. The research finding showed that Chatin Sutan is a fighter figure of Indonesian republic Independence’s pioner based on the social ministry decree no. Pol 421/70/PK on 18th of February 1971. The struggles done by him were in the period of Netherlands and Japan’s colonialism as well as military aggresion of the Netherlands.Key Words : Chatib Sutan fighter indenpendence pioner

Abstract

Abstract : This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out whether there is an effect of heritage narrative on reading comprehension of second year students of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru. This research was a nonequivalent (pretest and posttest) control-group design. In this design, there two groups as participant (experimental and control group). Heritage narrative was applied in teaching the experimental group while control group was taught by using narrative from other culture. The population of this research was all students of second year students in academic year of 2017/2018. Total number of population was 71. The sample is chosen by using cluster random sampling. In analyzing data, the writer used quantitative approach. The results of the data analysis showed that the mean scores of pre-test were 44.86 (experimental group) and 43.47 (control group). The mean score of students after the treatment were higher than pre-test. Moreover, from the statistical analysis, it was found out the t-test (4.75) was higher than t-table (2.01) at the significance level 5%. It can be concluded that there was effect of heritage narrative on students ’reading comprehension.Key Words: Heritage Narrative, Reading Comprehension.

Abstract

Abstract: Ability to write a short story students of class XI Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru aims to find out how the level of ability to write short stories of students of class XI Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru and know whether or not there is a difference in the ability to write short stories between students of class XI IPA and class XI IPS Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. Writing short stories is a person's ability or ability to use his ideas, thoughts, knowledge, and life experiences in clear, expressive, readable and easily understood languages. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. Sources of data used is the score of the ability to write short stories of students of class XI Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. Tests conducted using the parametric test, using two different samples of one sample and two different samples of two samples. Based on the results of the test, it can be concluded that the ability to write short stories of students of grade XI Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru is moderate and there are differences in the ability to write short stories between class XI IPA with class XI IPS Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru.Keywords: Short stories, writing skill

Abstract

Abstract : Amelioration is a change of meaning which results in a new meaning perceived as better value than the old meaning (raising meaning). The purpose of this research is to describe amelioration Batak Toba language. This type of research is qualitative research. In this study the author uses descriptive method. Descriptive method is a method that is done with the steps as follows: data collection, classifiers, analyze, and make conclusions to get a picture of the object. The source of this research is the corpus 1) folklore, 2) the maxim, 3) the sermon, and 4) the daily speech of the Batak Toba community. The data containing amelioration is then recorded and transcribed. Technique of collecting data that is using technique refer to. Result of research, found four form of amelioration in Toba Batak language which amount to 89 data. The division of the form is (1) amelioration and synonym of word form of 72 data, (2) phrase amelioration, synonymous with rough word meaning of 13 data, (3) amelioration and synonym in phrase form and (4) amelioration of word form, synonymous with the form of meaningful rough phrases amounting to 2 data.Keywords: Amelioration, Batak Toba Language

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research is aimed at finding out the ability of thesecond year students of SMK Labor Pekanbaru in speaking. Forty-one students ofOffice Administration class in the second semester of academic year 2017/2018 werechosen to become the sample by using cluster random sampling technique. The totalpopulation of the second year students of SMK Labor Pekanbaru is large enough to betaken as sample, it is select the sample by using cluster random sampling technique.The instrument of the research is a speaking test focusing on procedure texts. The datawere analyzed by using five components of speaking. They are: pronunciation,grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The result shows that the meanscore of the speaking test the second year students of SMK Labor Pekanbaru is 60,81.This figure is classified into mediocre level. The highest score of speaking test is 62,60(good level) for pronunciation and the lowest score of speaking test is 57,41 (mediocrelevel) for grammar. Therefore, it can be concluded that the speaking ability of thesecond year students of SMK Labor Pekanbaru is in the range of mediocre level.Key Words: Students’ Speaking Ability, Procedure Texts.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of the students by applying discovery learning. The subjects of this research are the students of classSMPN 1 Teluk Kuantan at the second semester of academic years 2017/2018 which total number of participants are 30 students, consists of 14 male students and 16 female students with heterogeneous academic achievements. This research has two cycles. Each of them has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collecting instruments consist observation sheet (learning process) and the students' worksheet. Learning device used in this research consists of Syllabus, Lesson plan, and Student work sheet. The data were analized by narrative descriptive and statistical descriptive. The data were obtained from the observation sheets of teacher and students activities that showed the learning process has improved after the model being implemented. From the data of the student’s evaluation test, it showed that that the frequency of the number of students who reached the standard category, good and very good in the frequency distribution table increased from base score to Quiz I, and from Quiz I to Quiz II. The number of students who reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria from the basic score to Quiz I increased by 3 people with a 10% increase, and from Quiz I to Quiz II increased by 4 people with an increase of 13.4%.Key Words : The outcomes of mathematics learning, Discovery Learning, class action research

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to find out the effect of the ball obstacle course to gross motor skills of children aged 4 – 5 years old at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru. This study utilizes experimental method by one group pre-test post-test design. The samples taken in this study were 15 children of early age. While data collection techniques used is the observation. The data analysis technique uses t-test by utilizing SPSS 21 software. The analysis results of the data processing before the given treatment through the obstacle ball course, the gross motor skills of the 4 -5 years old children at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru obtained a total value of 172 with an average value is 11.47 and the analysis results of the data processing after the given treatment through the obstacle ball course, the gross motor skills of the children aged 4 -5 years at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru obtained a total value of 299 with an average value is 19.93. Based on data analysis, it can be seen that t-calculate = 17,398> t-table = 2.145 to Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000. Because of Sig <0,05 it can be concluded that there is a difference in gross motor skills before and after the obstacle ball course done. It can be interpreted that there is an effect of giving the obstacle ball course to gross motor skills of 4-5 years old children at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru signified as much 41,23%.Keyword: Gross motor skills, ball obstacle course
