Abstract

Abstract: Learning resources are all resources that can be used for the benefit of the teaching process or activity, either directly or indirectly, outside the students (environment) who complete themselves during the teaching process. The purpose of this study were (1) to determine the use of the internet in history subjects in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tambang, Kampar Regency. (2) To find out the student learning outcomes in history subjects in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang, Kampar Regency. (3) To determine the effect of the internet on student learning outcomes in history subjects in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang, Kampar Regency, academic year 2020/2021. The method in this research is to use quantitative methods. The population in this study were 117 students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang Kampar Regency, which consisted of 4 classes, the sample in this study were class XI1 IPS and XI2 IPS, totaling 58 students. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a percentage as a preliminary analysis and the follow-up analysis uses linear regression analysis, while the learning outcomes of students who reach completion are 37 students and those who do not complete are 21 students. The hypothesis in this study is that internet learning resources have an effect on the variable learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Tambang, with the amount of influence given is 49.1%.Key Words: Internet and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that arise during the Covid-19 pandemic where there are no crowds or gathering of people. Initially, the conventional or face-to-face student learning system was changed to an online learning system. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the students 'perceptions of the online learning system at the University of Riau and also how the students' perceptions of the advantages and disadvantages of the online learning system at the University of Riau. The research objective was to determine students 'perceptions in the online learning system at the University of Riau and also to determine students' perceptions of the advantages and disadvantages of the online learning system at the University of Riau. The benefits of research results for students are to provide an overview of student perceptions in the online learning system at Riau University. The study population was students of the Riau University. The sample in this study was taken using a quota sampling technique. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive method. The conclusion of this study is that overall data regarding student perceptions in the online learning system at the University of Riau are in the "Good" category, with a percentage of 72.5%, and in the range of 50.01% - 75%. Students' perceptions about the advantages of the online learning system at the University of Riau are in the "Good" category, with a percentage of 55.7%, and in the range of 50.01% - 75%. Students' perceptions about the deficiencies of the online learning system at the University of Riau are in the "Very Bad" category, with a percentage of 79.59%, and in the range 75.01 - 100%.Key Words: Analysis, Perceptions, Online Learning System

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to produce of IDEAL problem solving model learning devices for problem solving skil in static fluid material that is valid for use. IDEAL problem solving model is expected to make it easier to understand and develop problem solving skil for students. The device consist of a learning implementation plan, student worksheets, and cognitive test. This research and development (R&D) research uses the 4D model. This research is only limited to the development. The results showed that the learning device using the IDEAL problem solving model was declared valid with overall score of the device being 3,50 with very high category. Thus, the IDEAL problem solving is feasible to be used for learning physics on static fluid material.Key Words: Physics Learning Device, IDEAL Problem Solving Model, Static Fluid Material.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between leg muscle power and arm and shoulder muscle power with the results of the Badminton Team Smash Pb Sportif, Tampan District. This type of research is a correlational study which aims to see the level of the relationship between variables, namely: the independent variable Leg Muscle Power (X1) and Arm and Shoulder Muscle Power (X2) with Smash Results (Y) on the badminton team Pb Sportif Kecamatan Handsome, numbering 14 people. Based on data that has been processed previously, it is obtained Rhitung (0.967)> rtab (0.553), meaning rcount> rtabel. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted at the significant level α = (0.05). From the results of the above analysis it can be concluded that there is a relationship between leg muscle power (X1) and arm and shoulder muscle power (X2) with the smash results (Y) of the Badminton Team of Pb Sportif, Tampan District. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of participation or civic participatory skills that exist in active students who are not at all members of student organizations in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (Prodi PPKn), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Riau. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills (case study of the Student Association (Himaprodi) PPKn FKIP Riau University for the period 2019-2020). The research objective was to determine how the influence of student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills (a case study of the Himaprodi PPKn FKIP Riau University for the period 2019-2020). In this study, the sample size was 31 respondents. Sampling in this study using proportional sampling technique. This research method is descriptive quantitative, data collection instruments used in this research, namely, a questionnaire consisting of 5 indicators with 20 statements. Based on the results of research on the influence of student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills (case study of the PPKn FKIP Riau University Himaprodi period 2019-2020), it is concluded that: There is a significant influence between student organizations on the development of student civic participatory skills in Himaprodi PPKn FKIP University Riau for the period 2019-2020. So the hypothesis in this study is accepted, based on the coefficient of determination test, which is carried out to see how much the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable, it is known that the R value is positive, namely 0.663, the value of the relationship (R) is 0.663 while the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.440. which implies that the effect of the independent variable (Student Organization) on the dependent variable (Student civic participatory skills) is 66.3%.Key Words: Influence, Student Organization, Civic Participatory Skills

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is stepping in to perform basic punches such as drop shot, net, drive and smash. Only the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles does not look good, this can be seen during the jump smash. there are still many balls that do not pass the net. This type of research is an experiment with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of leg muscle strength. The population in this research consisted of 8 male athletes PB Bank Riau Kepri. The sampling technique uses total sampling, where the total population is sampled. The data collection technique was obtained from the pre-test and the post-test. The instrument in this research used the ambidextrous madicin ball put test as a tool to measure the strength of the arm muscles. Pre-test results data after the LoMax calculation is 0.107 and Ltable is 0.285. It can be concluded that the distribution of muscle strength data from the pretest is normally distributed. For muscle strength testing after the test, the LoMax is 0.163 and the Ltable is 0.285. This means that LoMax is smaller than LTabel. It can be concluded that the distribution of posttest data is normally distributed. The analysis of the t-count between the shore test and the final test number is 5.812 and compared to the t-table value at a significant level of 0.05 degrees of freedom, it appears to be N - 1 (7) 1,895, showing that the tcount (5,812)> t table (1,895), It can be concluded that the hypothesis that there is an effect of medicine ball training on arm muscle strength in male athletes is PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru.Key Words: Madicine Ball Exercise, Arm Muscle Power, Badminton

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to identify the frequent translation techniques used by the translator in "Incredibles 2" movie. This research was a content analysis method as the research design. The data used in this research are the hard file subtitles from the "Incredibles 2" movie in both English and Indonesian subtitles. The researcher identifies half of the subtitles movie and uses translation techniques from Molina and Albir (2002). The researcher used four translation techniques from Molina and Albir (2002) for identifying the subtitles. They are amplification technique, borrowing technique, literal translation technique, and reduction technique. The data obtained by identified the subtitle, classified each data according to the translation technique, and calculated the percentage. The researcher found 459 data from 1147 data. The result shows that the frequent translation technique is literal translation technique with 181 data represent 39.43%. The other three translation techniques are amplification techniques with 45 data represents 9.80%, borrowing techniques with 107 data represents 23.31%, and reduction technique with 126 data represents 27.45%.Key Words: Translation Techniques, Subtitles, Content Analysis, Movie

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a crisis regarding students' knowledge about Pancasila values and threats in the form of radical movements that try to replace the Pancasila ideology with other ideologies and the number of behaviors that do not reflect the noble values of Pancasila. In response to this, President Joko Widodo formed the Pancasila Ideology Development Institute (BPIP) which is regulated in Presidential Decree No. 7 of 2018. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the PPKn study program students' perceptions of the role and function of the Pancasila ideology development body at FKIP, Riau University. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The purpose of this study was to determine how PPKn study program students' perceptions of the role and function of the Pancasila ideology development body in FKIP, Riau University. Data collection techniques are questionnaires (questionnaire), observation, interviews and documentation. The population in this study were 216 students of the PPKn Study Program, 2018, 2019 with a sample size of 45 people. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the perceptions of PPKn study program students on the role and function of the Pancasila Ideology Development Board at FKIP Riau University are in the "Very Good" category with a total of 94.72% of respondents strongly agree plus agree. So it can be concluded that PPKn study program regarding the role and function of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency in FKIP Riau University is "Very Good".Key Words: Analysis, Perception, Students, Role and Function, BPIP

Abstract

Abstract: This research belongs to descriptive research which used quantitative approach. It aimed to find out the level of grammar knowledge of the second year students of MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The population of this research was the second year students of the school, while the number of populations was 265 students. Thirty one of them were the samples and selecting by cluster sampling technique. To collect the data, completion test was used as the instrument with the total number of items was fourty questions. It consist of verb to be, modal, singular and plural, demonstrative adjective, degree of comparison and simple present tense. The result of research shows that the mean score of students in grammar knowledge was 70.26 and it categorized into good level, and the most difficult component is degree of comparison with the mean score 65, and the easiest aspects is in term of verb to be with the mean score 77. In brief, the second year students have good ability in grammatical knowledge that has been learned in odd semester.Key Words: Students’ Ability, Grammar, Knowledge

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in several universities related to the problem of discrimination against veiled female students. Especially the problem at the University of Riau, where there was discrimination against veiled female students during certain courses. The formulation of the problem in this study is how are students' perceptions of veiled students at the University of Riau?. The research objective was to determine student perceptions of veiled students at the University of Riau. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instrument used in this study is a questionnaire consisting of 6 indicators with 15 questions. The population in this study were all students of the University of Riau. The sample in this study was taken using a proportional sampling technique. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the overall data regarding students' perceptions of veiled female students at the University of Riau are in the "Very Good" category. This is shown from the respondents' answers Strongly Agree (SS) plus Agree (S), namely 40.1% + 42.7% = 82.8% where this range is in the "Very Good" category with an existence in the range of 75.01% - 100.00%.Key Words: Perception, Student, Veil
