Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of fermentation time and roasted rice concentration on the quality of Pangas catfish (Pangasius sp.) and produce a booklet design on the conventional biotechnology concept of class XII SMA. This type of research is a quantitative research. The research was conducted in 2 stages. The first stage, namely the experimental stage, is the stage of making Pangas catfish marks. The method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) with a 3x3 factorial pattern with 3 replications of the concentration of roasted rice and fermentation time. The fermentation time was 7 days, 14 days, and 21 days and the roasted rice concentration was 40%, 50%, 60%. The research parameters were fat content, protein content and pH. Furthermore, the second stage, namely the design of the booklet, includes the analysis and design stages. The results showed that the duration of fermentation and the concentration of roasted rice affected the quality of Pangas catfish (Pangasius sp.) Marks with the parameters of fat content, protein content and pH where the best quality of catfish (Pangasisus sp) was found in the T3P3 treatment (21 days of fermentation. and roasted rice concentration of 60%) which has a fat content of 1.4661%, a protein content of 10, 7841%, a pH value of 3.3. Based on the potential analysis, the research results can be used as a Booklet Design for Conventional Biotechnology Material for class XII SMA.Key Words: Booklet, fermentation time, roasted rice, Pangasius sp

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research was conducted to find out the students’ speaking ability in term of recount text. The samples of this research were 40 students from SMPIT At-Taqwa Pelalawan. The researcher used cluster random sampling technique to choose the samples. The instrument to measure the students’ speaking ability was in the form of monologue, retelling a story in recount text. The students’ speaking scores were measured by three raters. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the mean score of the students’ speaking ability is 53. From each aspect, it could be seen that the highest score was in terms of vocabulary with the average score of 64. It is followed by grammar with the average score of 60, then comprehension with the average score of 57.5, and fluency with the average score of 49. The lowest score was in terms of pronunciation with the average score of 46.3. Therefore, it was recommended for the teacher to provide more speaking activities which support students’ speaking skill, particularly in terms of pronunciation and fluency, since these aspects are the lowest, and the students’ need to practice their speaking skill inside and outside the classroom.Key Words: Speaking, Ability, Speaking Ability

Abstract

Abstract:. This research is motivated because there are still many cafe visitors who do not wear masks, when visiting the cafe there is no body temperature check and the seat at the cafe is at a distance that has been set by the government. This study aims to find out the public's perception of the implementation of security guard duties in controlling health protocols during the new normal period at internet cafes along Jalan Manyar in Pekanbaru City. In managing the data, the researcher used quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample of this study were 100 people. The data collection used by researchers is by using questionnaires, interviews, observation, documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted, the respondents who answered YES with an average of 40.42 people with a percentage of 40.42%, while those who answered NO with an average of 59.58 people with a percentage of 59.58%. It can be concluded in accordance with the answers that answered YES with a percentage of 40.42% in the answer range of 0% -50%. So it can be concluded that the Public Perception of the Implementation of Satpol PP Duties in Control of Health Protocols in the New Normal Period at Warnet along Jalan Manyar Sakti Kota Pekanbaru can be said to be "Not Good".Key Words: Perception, Satpol PP Implementation

Abstract

: This research was motivated by the interest of students majoring in Social Studies Education who studied at FKIP, Riau University. Where students pursuing higher education at the FKIP Faculty are supposed to be teachers, it turns out that not all students studying at FKIP are interested in becoming teachers. But there are several factors for them to study at FKIP Riau University. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the interest of students majoring in social studies in choosing FKIP at the University of Riau? And what are the factors that students choose FKIP at the University of Riau?. The purpose of this study is to find out how the interest of students majoring in Social Sciences in choosing FKIP at the University of Riau and to find out what are the factors that make students majoring in Social Sciences choose FKIP at Riau University. The benefit of the results of this study is a source of learning for all parties, especially for prospective students who want to continue their education to college by considering their interest in studying at a university. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instrument used in this research is a questionnaire consisting of 9 indicators with 19 statements. The population in this study were active students majoring in Social Studies Education, amounting to 939 people. The sample in this study was taken using the Non Probity Sampling technique, more precisely the quota sampling technique of 60 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that overall the data regarding the "Study of Interests of 60 samples of Social Studies Education Department Students Choosing FKIP at the University of Riau" is in the "Good" category. Respondents answered Strongly Agree (SS) plus Agree(S) namely 14.12% + 39.47% = 53.59%, this is in the range of 50.01%-75%. Thus, it can be concluded that the interest of 60 samples of Social Sciences Education Department Students in choosing FKIP at the University of Riau is at the "Good" level.Key Words: Interest, Student, FKIP

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses about politeness scale in drama Great Teacher Onizuka 2012. The purpose of this research is to find out how the politeness scale of the main character's speech in that drama. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data is obtained by listening to the conversations spoken by the main character. Then the speech which has a politeness scale is recorded and marked. The results of this study indicate that in drama Great Teacher Onizuka 2012, the main character uses five kinds of Leech’s politeness scales, cost-benefit scale, optionality scale, indirectness scale, authority scale and social distance scale. On the five scales, the scale that often appears is indirectness scale and the scale that appears the least is authority scale.Key Words: Leech’s politeness scale, speech, Great Teacher Onizuka, Japanese Drama

Abstract

Abstract: The developed Instructional tools used cooperative-based model with Guided Inquiry-learning which implemented in Physics material of Momentum and Impluses for the first year students of SMA, consisting of Lesson Plan (RPP), Students’ Worksheet (LKPD), and scientific questionnaires. The purpose of this study is to find out students’ scientific attitude and the type of this research is pre-experiment research of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, the data used in this study was the data from students’ scientific attitude during the learning process. The instrument used in this study was the questionnaires of students’ scientific attitude. The questionnaires of scientific attitude was adapted from the questionnaires which developed by Afrianti (2016). Based on the results of a descriptive analysis which obtained from the students’ scientific scores that assessed from every scientific aspects which consist of curiousity, open mind, critical thinking and honesty. From the result, it can be seen that each indicator of scientific attitudes is increasing after the application of Guided Inquiry -learning in Momentum and Impulses material. With the increased of scientific attitudes, the students’ average scientific scores are also increased. In the early scientific attitude, the average score was 2.46 in low category and increased to 1.11 points on the final scientific attitude with an average score 3.56 in high category. Therefore, the Instructional Tools which developed by using Guided Inquiry-learning are able to enhance students’ scientific attitude.Key Words: Students’ Scientific Attitude, Guided Inquiry, Momentum impulses

Abstract

Abstract: From the observations of researchers in the field, the Satpol players of Riau Province. Researchers observed that in training sessions and in matches, there are still many shortcomings of Satpol players in Riau Province. One of them is like the leg muscles when jumping during a smash or block. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of box jump training on leg muscle power in the men's volleyball team Satpol Riau Province. The population in this study were 12 men's volleyball team Satpol Riau Province. The sampling technique used total sampling, so that the sample in this study amounted to 12 people. To measure the power of the leg muscles using a vertical jump. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Box jump training on leg muscle power in the Riau Provincial Satpol Men's team, proven by the results of tcount 4.723> t table 1.796 at α = 0.05. This proves that by doing Box jump exercise, leg muscle power can get better results. Key Words: Box jump, Leg Muscle Power

Abstract: The problem in this study is still the speed of the kick when attackingbefore you shoot at the opponent, so the power of the kick in the goal is not good. Usethe attack of this athlete in vain without getting points. The aim of this research is tostudy kick training simulation using Mawashi-Geri kick speed on Lemkari karateathletics in my mining district. This investigation is being conducted in Lemkari dojo,district judge of Jalan Regent, Kampar Regency. The study was conducted fromDecember to April 2020. The population sampled in this study were all karate clubsoccupied by 10 people. Based on the results of the analysis of pre- and post-test data,there is a difference in the amount that increases. After completing the test, this studyprovides a method to increase the speed of Mawashi Geri's pedaling steps for 16meetings using the method of practicing Mawashi Geri's pedaling steps with weights.Finally, the researchers took a post-test of the Mawashi Geri exercise, which receivedthe work 16 times with the karate kick speed test, and obtained data from Lhitung0.1721and Ltabel0.258 with a normal distribution.Key Words: Effect of Kick Training, Kick speed

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the Depth Jump training on the explosive power of the limbs of Volosba Junior Benai Volleyball Club Players. The data obtained as a result of the research are the quantity data through tests before and after giving the treatment of the Deep Jump exercise. The data was obtained through tests and measurements from 8 Ivosba Junior Benai Volleyball Club athletes. The variables in this study are the Deep Jump Exercise symbolized by X as the independent variable, while the Leg Muscle Power is represented by Y as the dependent variable. Based on observations from researchers with Ivosba Junior Benai, the coach of Volleyball Club, researchers saw and noticed that they were technically good enough, this could be proven by their directional service and smash, but what became a problem when athletes were practicing or competing that the explosive power of muscles is missing the legs very much, when the ball is hit the jump is not optimal, which means that the ball often fails and does not attack. So researchers and trainers agreed to give a vertical jump test to discover the leg muscle power of Volleyball Club Ivosba Junior Benai players. The analysis was performed using the t-test, based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there was a significant impact of the Deep Jump training on the Volosba Junior Benai Volleyball Club Leg Muscle Power, as shown by a Thitung of 8.66 and a Ttabel of 1.895 at α= 0.05Key Words: Deep Jump

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of member participation on the cooperative management's performance. The population in this study were members of KUD Kampar, Kampa district, Kampar district. Numbering 725 people, the total sample of 88 people was taken using the formula (Slovin). The sampling technique used wastechnique proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that member participation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the KUD Kampar management, Kampa District, Kampar Regency.Key Words: Member Participation, Management Performance
