Abstract

Design and manufacture the application calculations of cost of goods production at Surabaya Meliwis printing company using job order costing are: elimination.Meliwis printing is a company engaged in the field of offset printing. The company will produce when if taking orders from the customer. At this time all processes in the company are still done manually, although in the determination of the sale price is still relying on salesmen to sales data. It is a big risk for the company, especially in terms of determining cost of goods production to determine the selling price to the customer.Based on the problems, there is a need yo designing the application calculations of HPP (cost of goods production) to determine the sale price that's clear and obvious administrative system. The development process uses Visual Basic .NET and My SQL Server 2005.Company application has been in accordance with the needs of the store. This application can be assisted the owner in knowing the finance company stores through reports which is generated by this application. The results obtained from the questionnarre pressents 60% of users believe an application has been beneficial to both the company and 40% of users believe an application has been extremely beneficial to both

Abstract

The making of this simulation is to facilitate someone studying the early stages of how to control the special vehicles without need to face the risk of an accident. The simulation of land vehicles / off road car (All Terrain Vehicle) made, having some simple features like walks in rocky and bumpy road. The software use Logitech Steering Wheel or Keyboard as the controller. This simulator game is made using PhysX to make it easier when incorporating physics in the real world into the virtual world. Logitech SDK, derived from Logitech Gaming Software, is needed for data input from Logitech steering wheel. The result of this thesis is the data such as car position with coordinates x, y, z, and the speed of the car that will be used to control the MA3I platform. This output is affected by some input from the user in the form of gas, brake, and steering wheel.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, menjadikan kebutuhan untuk mendapatkan informasi menjadi lebih instant. Dengan memanfaatkan penggunaan mobile device, sangat membantu bagi pengguna untuk saling sharing berbagai informasi. Selain itu, penggunaan mobile device yang sangat mudah dibawa-bawa, semakin memudahkan dalam mengakses informasi yang ada. Sebuah mobile device juga dapat menjadi media pendukung dalam proses belajar mengajar.Oleh karena itu, pada Skripsi ini, dibuat aplikasi server dan client untuk membantu proses belajar mengajar sekaligus menjadi media penyampaian materi pembelajaran ke pelajar yang menggunakan mobile device berbasis Android. Aplikasi ini akan menampilkan tampilan yang sama dengan desktop milik dosen sehingga mahasiswa dapat memperhatikan setiap perubahan secara langsung. Layanan lainnya adalah dirancangnya sebuah website administrator untuk mengelola data proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan antara dosen dan mahasiswa.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan resolusi monitor tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi bandwidth dan CPU usage saat proses pengiriman gambar ke web server. Kelancaran proses broadcast bergantung pada beberapa faktor seperti ukuran resolusi dan koneksi internet. Pemilihan ukuran resolusi dan koneksi internet yang tepat sangat disarankan agar proses broadcast semakin real time.

Abstract

PD. Meteor Motor is a company specialized in the sale of Honda motorcycles. The stock of the company has been run in a computerized, but other business processes (purchases and sales) run manually. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a web-based information system that is accessible by company management in operational activities. The application interface is designed using CSS and HTML. This information system is built by using PHP, Java, and HTML programming language. As for data storage uses MySQL. The results based on questionnaires on the application of information systems at PT. Meteor Motor, several conclusions can be drawn that 80% of respondents said that the design of the application system is quite easy to use, and as many as 20% of respondents said that the design of the application is easy to use, in addition as much as 60% of respondents said application system sufficient to meet the company's business processes, and as many as 40% of respondents said application system meets the company's business processes, as well as 60% of respondents said application system is easily accessible, and 40% of respondents said application system is very easily accessible

Abstract

Nowdays, registration, journalizing, and creating report system at PT. Lumajang Jaya Sejahtera still use the old methods or traditional way such as document word. Accounting which is doing manually, can enhance the risk of error calculation at creating journal. And regular data storage didn’t exist yet, it causes the important data is easy to lose. Based on the background of the problem, accounting information will be designed with system which has been computering so that can decrease the error in calculation. The result which is gotten from application that has been made, are saving lease data, selling data and also supplier-customer data.Before creating the program, must do analyzing company, then proceed with the design of the program. Analysis performed directly on the company concerned. The process of its using software VB.net and SQL server.

Abstract

PT. X is a company that engages in the aluminium cargo box assembly. This company assembles and manufactures aluminium cargo box depends on customer’s orders. Inventory, use of raw materials, and cost of goods manufactured are recorded manually. When it comes to determining the cost of goods manufactured, the owner calculates based on the cost of raw materials only, the owner did not pay enough attention to the labour cost and overhead cost. An accurate calculation of cost of goods manufactured is essential since it helps the company to make sure that the determined sales price can cover all the cost incurred. Manual recording could slow down the performance and increase the possibility of inaccurate calculation of cost of goods manufactured.Based on the case, an application to do the calculation of cost of goods manufactured is designed. The process of designing application has gone through several stages, starting from doing survey on the production system, data analyzing, designing Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram of the application. The application uses Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005 as its programming language and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as its database. The calculation of cost of goods manufactured is using Job Costing method.Results that obtained from the application that have been made are raw material usage that can be saved based on Bill of Material or additional in the real process, labour usage, and so on associated with the production process. In addition, the application that has been made can be used to allocate the cost that occurs during the production process and to generate reports related to the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured of a product automatically.

Abstract

Organization X is currently using a manual system to manage the execution of procurement. The system, however, is ineffective to the efficiency and human error in the process of recording and loss of collections. Analyzing this problem, a new application was designed to assist with the workflow in Organization X. The application supports the lifecycle in the library trough circulation, maintenance, and reports. The application is using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for programming language and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as data storage media. Based on the results of tests performed, the application could launch collection monitoring and manage the opname book. The application is open for develop with more features in the future such as automatic printing for borrowing slip and booking order by phone

Abstract

To increase online media traffic, the first effort made by online media is to examine the trending phenomenon with the right marketing strategy. One of the methods that online media is used is a communication strategy that utilizes the sentiment analysis method. In reality, students of Communication Science Major at Petra Christian University are not optimally using sentiment analyst system because the sentiment analysis system for the Communication Studies Study Program (Netray) cannot be run by more than one student or is not used simultaneously and the price of the application is still not affordable if the students want to subscribe Netray. So a sentiment analysis system is needed to support the learning of the Communication Science Major at Petra Christian University. In previous related research, there was research that discussed the analysis of the #crowdfunding campaign on Twitter but there was not include sentiment analysis, there are only topological analysis, spatial analysis and others analysis. In addition, there are studies that use various deep learning methods of sentiment analysis, by researching CNN, DNN, RNN, Bi-Lstm, but none of them combine these methods. So it can be concluded that research will be made that analyzes sentiment analysis and combines deep learning methods. Sentiment analysis is the process of using text analytics to obtain various data sources from the internet and various social media platforms. Sentiment analysis can be utilized with artificial intelligence or with computing, because it is more efficient . Sentiment analysis can be complemented by methods from artificial intelligence systems, namely deep learning CNN-BILSTM. CNN-BILSTM is a combination of the two methods of CNN and bidirectional LSTM where CNN is the input layer and bidirectional LSTM is the layer that extracts features from the input. The dataset used in this application is retrieved from github by adopting the CC BY-NC (Common Creative Non Commercial) License. Data used in the deep learning model which contains a collection of Indonesian tweets containing neutral, positive, negative sentiments.From two testing this thesis using twitter as the online media. From the first test, 20 tweets were searched, the tweet contain "Shin tae yong” and yielded an accuracy of 30%. The second test was tested by 45 students of the Petra Christian University Communication Science Program at Petra Christian University Surabaya in the Q2.505 building where this application was tried and applied, after that the application was assessed with a satisfaction questionnaire which resulted in an average score of 4.01, so this application can meet the needs of the Petra Christian University Communication Science Program with the initial target of a satisfaction questionnaire of 3.75.

Abstract

Taxi is one of the most common means of public transportation. Assignment of drivers to passengers in online taxi can be done by of ering passenger orders to all drivers closest to the pick-up location. This method has high time ef iciency. However, this causes an increase in the cancellation rate because drivers don't have enough time to view order details, just as long as they accept orders. This can lead to a decrease in the level of passenger satisfaction and online taxi revenue. Therefore, other factors such as driver rating, driver order cancellation rate, number of orderscompleted by drivers are important to consider in the assignment process to produce an ef icient assignment. The process of assigning drivers and passengers will be carriedout using the Goal Programming method because this methodissuitable for problems in decision making that involve morethanone goal (multi-objectives). The results showed that Goal Programming resultedinthehighest total calculation time. In addition, the average waitingtime for passengers and pick-up distance are the lowest. TheHungarian Algorithm method has a faster calculationtimecompared to the Goal Programming method, however, thenumber of assignment is lower. In addition, the average waitingtime for passengers and their pick-up distances is higher. TheRandom Assignment method has the fastest calculation timeandthe highest assignment success rate. However, the averagewaiting time for passengers and the distance to pick themupisfarabove the two comparison methods. The addition of factors otherthan time and pick-up distance in a low percentage can af ect theaverage value of these factors for the better. But, the averagepick-up time and distance is increasing.

Abstract

Auction is a process of buying and selling to auction participants, where auction participants will make bids and be sold to bidders at the highest price. Today, conducting an online auction can be done through social media. Based on a survey conducted on CV Toro Developer, people still make auction transactions via Whatsapp. This auction transaction is considered inefficient, where the admin in the Whatsapp group must pay attention to the bid price entered by the auction participant. Therefore, this thesis will make an application so that auction transaction activities can be carried out without admin assistance. This thesis will focus on developing auction applications to facilitate auction transaction activities with chat features, auto bids, deposits, bid features that can be displayed in real-time, and notification features. The test results show that the application can carry out the auction process well from the beginning of creation until the transaction is complete. Also, other features can run well.
