Abstract

In the past few years, Big Data has been a trend in the world of Information Technology. Alongside the growth of organizations, the bigger the data that is owned, some can reach the scale of Terabytes to Pentabytes. When an organization wants to do an analysis of a Big Data it takes time due to limited CPU and memory. To overcome this, there is a paradigm which is called distributed computing. There are many tools that aim to cultivate Big Data such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and etc. However, the tool that is going to be analyzed is the Apache Hadoop.The adoption rate of Big Data in Indonesia is 20% for 2 to 3 years into the future [1]. Seeing these facts, more and more companies are planning to adopt Big Data to analyze their data. Due to the increasing use of Big Data and Apache Hadoop, it is conducted an exploratory analysis of data correlation on Apache Hadoop. In addition, testing was also done using the Apache Hadoop with varying number of nodes, mappers and reducers, and number of different block sizes [10].Exploratory analysis of data correlation on Apache Hadoop is done by making four types of data analysis applications, namely two applications correlation values for the data search Yahoo! Messenger and two applications for creating classification trees. Based on test results obtained that the R application is more suitable for smaller data size while Hadoop is more suitable for large data size. For large data, application R uses higher percentage of CPU and memory than Hadoop. The combination of mapper and reducer that will provide the most optimal execution time is for mapper in the range of 2/3 of the total CPU cores, while the reducer is 1/3 of the total CPU cores.

Abstract

Mutiara Agriculture Shop still uses manual process in its operational activities, so much time consuming and prone to error. The owner takes a lot of time in checking the stock of each transaction. The owner can also forget to write a merchant's bill in a receivable book. Mutiara Agriculture Shop has also experienced theft by employees by writing fictitious stock. To overcome these problems, the necessary applications that can support business processes to be fast, precise, and efficient.The work of this thesis focuses on creating a store information system that can help run the business process while minimizing the gap for employees to do corruption. In addition, with up to date reports, help owners quickly and precisely take business decisions.Based on testing that can be done, the application can be used easily and has a fairly complete feature. Abstract

The development of instant era makes people want something that fast and efficient. As we know, picking ripe tomatoes on the tree requires a long time if done by humans. To solve these problems, automatic robots are used that can replace the role of humans. To get a successful automated robot requires the creation of efficient algorithm function (program). The Program can be run on an Android Device. We use Blob Detection method on Computer Vision, and the result will be processed by the Convolutional Neural Network method. CNN method requires to determine whether the object is ripe tomatoes or other objects. Blob Detection is used to detect tomato objects based on previously obtained masks. Before doing the training, it is necessary to make a model that contains convolutional layer, max polling layer, flatten layer, dropout layer, and dense layer. The test is carried out with a scenario study and several cases such as bunched tomatoes, scattered tomatoes, tomatoes whose masks are not oval, and so on. The results show that the results of CNN are very dependent on the results of Blob Detection because the input from CNN is from the result of Blob Detection. If Blob Detection fails to get the tomato object, CNN will not run properly. The results show that Blob Detection will fail to detect the tomato object if the tomato is blocked by another object which causes the mask shape of the object to be chaotic. The test results from CNN also showed an accuracy value of training of 96% and testing accuracy of 93%.

Abstract

Inventory data which has been stored so far is still manual and has not been used to generate information. Inventory data is prone to error as result for manual process. General Affair division needs a software to control inventory flow in a structured manner and generate information from the data. The software is expected to help company to control inventory flow.Before starting the application development, analysis and design of the company’s stock and the needs of General Affair were done. The analysis and design stage produce a number of diagrams that will be used to create the application.The final result of the development is an Administrative Information System. The application includes purchase, sales, delivery and receive order, inventory, customizable pivot table of purchase, sales, and inventory, income statement, purchase forecast, and merchandise, vendor, user maintenance features. Based on the research, it concluded that 75% of application features are good.

Abstract

Retail store needs to evolve especially in digital age where ecommercebecoming more and more common and most peopleprefer the convenience of an e-commerce. One of the biggestadvantage of a “newer” e-commerce is they build they’rebusiness model on the foundation of processing data, whereasolder retail store doesn’t. Development of data mining andmachine learning are pushing older business model to do better.This journal represents the possibilities of using subgroupdiscovery as a method of analyzing transactional data. Subgroupdiscovery is a data mining technique which extracts interestingrule. APRIORI-SD is a method within subgroup discovery whereevaluation measure use by APRIORI-SD already prioritizingunusualness distribution of a given data.The result of this knowledge are able to find anomalies such asdifferentiating subgroup(s) with differences up to 50% comparedto overall distribution percentage. With the result people areable to create a better strategies in the future.

Abstract

Smart Home is an application system that is a combination of technology and services that specialize in the home environment with specific functions aimed at improving the efficiency, comfort and security of the occupants. This intelligent home system uses a microcontroller to process functions that Smart Home applications will provide, such functions as rfid for door access and pir sensors for motion detection.To interact with sensors, microcontroller, or other tools through the Internet used Android devices. By using Android users can control the sensors already listed on the Android app with the internet. Android uses JAVA for programming language. Then here the sensor also needs to connect with microcontroller. Microcontroller used is Arduino IDE with WEMOS D1R2 board. Setting the sensor can only be done with a microcontroller, then it's all connected via the internet in order to be applied on Android.The end result of this research is the successful communication between the components of the device, sensors, and Android devices. Users can open or close the solenoid, users can also turn off or turn on electronic devices using Android.

Abstract

Bible is an important bilingual or monolingual text, making it a resource for training such as translation, named entity analysis, and transliteration. Named entity is a realworld object such as people, location, organization, product, et cetera, that can be symbolized with an exact name. The objective of the experiment is to help people learning the bible in understanding important names in the bible either in Indonesian or other local language in Indonesia. This can also help missionaries doing evangelism to quickly understand named entity in the local language of the place they are in. In this process, they may be a gap exists between the named entity in Indonesian and the local language.To solve this issue, designed an application that integrate Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm that wrapped inside efmaral tool with statistical method wrapped inside giza++ tool, and IBM Model 2 reparameterization wrapped inside fast align tool. From the product of all the tools, which is correlation between every word in Indonesian with the word in the local language, the result will be decided by finding the right consensus to find the correct named entity in the local language. The named entity will be chosen based on the strong numbering from the original language.Based on the result of the experiment, integration of efmaral, giza++, and fast align tools yields better accuracy than efmaral tool alone. Efmaral tool has the accuracy around 0,07 to 0,66. Giza++ tool has the accuracy around 0,47 to 0,90. The integrated tools (efmaral, giza++, and fast align) has the accuracy around 0,36 to 0,87.

Abstract

Banknote can’t be detected and recognized by blind people.Application for banknote recognition, which can run on Androidsmartphone with camera, is made in this paper to help blind people.Indonesian Rupiah(IDR) is used as a working example. This doesnot require any communication with remote server, and all thenecessary computations take place on the phone itself. In thisapplication, user can tak picture of the banknote with double tapon the screen, and the results will be announced by voice. Thesystem relies on computer vision algorithm, such as featuredetection, feature description, and matching. Each application ofORB, SURF, and SIFT is applied in matching captured banknoteimages to template images. To improve the confidence of thebanknote recognition, homography is used to filter the featurematching results.The systems evaluate the performance on 700 images and report anaccuracy of 93.14% using SURF, 92.57% using SIFT, and 89.17%using ORB

Abstract

English is a compulsory subject in all High Schools in Indonesia. In fact, English became one of the less favored subjects. Though English is a language needed in the world of work. Sometimes learning time and using textbooks make students bored and tired in learning English, so they need other media lo learn that more applicable.The implementation of this applications to help students learn English using the development of emerging technologies currently implemented on Android-based smartphones. With this application students can develop English abilities outside school. There are 18 chapters that become material of teaching materials with features of delivery of materials and quiz on the application of listening, speaking, drag and drop, multiple choice, and sound. Making learning media using Android SDK. The results showed that the program runs well on some kind of mobile device android with at least features kitkat 4.4 android. The application was also considered as interactive in terms of view application , delivery and module matter of about . This program also considered to be beneficial because it can help students learn without having to learn from books or their teachers.

Abstract

Neural Network technology is a system that functions like thehuman brain. This technology is able to solve intractableproblem with mathematical calculations. In this thesis Elmanneural network is used to predict the value of foreigncurrencies in order for helping the traders or investors inmaking decisions.Based on the above problems, the application is made byutilizing some forex indicators that are often used by tradersto put on the input node in the neural network and the outputnode in the form of predictions buy or sell.From the test results it can be concluded that the selection ofappropriate training time and the greater number of the bestindicators in used can improve the success rate for predictingcurrency prices.
