Abstract

PT SMART Tbk is a company that produce palm oil. There are some problem when doing activity outside company building. Company need a suggestion to fix this problem.  first problem is there are pedestrian path that the lack of road sign in that area. The suggestion for this problem is to draw road sign that fit with standard width and color in path with no road sign. Second problen is there are lack of regulation (SOP) of not bringing cigarette on security checking when entering PT SMART Tbk area. The suggestion of this problem is adding the regulation of not bringing cigarette on that SOP. Third problem is lack of special parking lot for company visitor. This time company visitor parking lot is merged with employee parking lot. The suggestion of this problem is built the parking lot in company backyard so the employee have their own parking lot.

Abstract

PT Cahaya Citra Alumnindo is a velg production company. This aim of thisresearch to help design and renew the ISO 9001. PT Cahaya Citra Alumindo has appliedthe ISO 9001:2008, this company have not renew their ISO. Internal audit is the method toapplied the ISO 9001:2015. The internal audit result showed that Clausul four to six showed100%, thus clausul seven 95.38%, clausul eight 53.23% and the nine and ten clausul showed100%.

Abstract

PT X is a multinational company that produces brands, both locally and globally.  PT X produces face powder, lipstick, eye shadow and facial wash packages.  The company has a human resource problem, which is an imbalance of workers performance.  The imbalance that occurs in the injection molding department is caused by some workers who seem to have less workloads than other workers and less efficient activities carried out.  The purpose of this study is to evaluate the workload of machine technicians, MTP technicians and administrators by using DILO method.  The DILO method is carried out in 3 stages which are value added analysis, time composition and individual workload analysis.  The normal individual workloads is around 77.25% - 83.8%.  After calculating the workloads, it is found that 8 out of 12 machine technicians, 2 MTP technicians and 2 admins still have workloads that are not within normal range. A machine technician and 2 admins have workloads above normal range and only 3 machine technicians have workloads within normal range. Eleven suggestions are made, and if they are implemented, it will reduce the percentage of non value added and value added activities around 0.14% to 10.95%.

Abstract

A manufacture company that produces palm oil. The company has various kinds of certifications, the focus of this design is ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 22000: 2018, ISO / TS 22002-1 and add FSSC V.5 2019. These four certifications are used to carry out internal audits. In conducting an internal audit, it is necessary to monitor the non conformity, so that they know the status of the non conformity whether they have been improved or are still in process or have not been improved. Monitoring activities use progress report documents. The progress report document contains a checklist that contains the clauses of the four certifications, contains the final grades based on each section, each department and each clause and shows the number of findings according to status. The results of the internal audit in July obtained a final grade of 89.93% and there were 92 non conformity. Non conformity with the status of Done amounted to 80 non conformity, the status of In Progress amounted to 3 non conformity and the status of Delayed amounted to 9 non conformity.

Abstract

PT Kone Indo Elevator is a company engaged in elevators and escalators. The elevator often jams or errors when run, due to poor installation quality. PT Kone Indo Elevator strives to continue to develop the quality of the elevator installation using the PDCA method. The plan of PT Kone Indo Elevator is to replace QD+ hardcopy with QD+ online, so that supervisors can conduct QC without any hindrance. However, in order to make QD+ online work well, KPIs, QC schedules for supervisors, and training for technicians and supervisors are made.

Abstract

Laris Elektronik is a distributor of electronic house appliances whose sales targets are smaller stores. The current warehouse system which laris currently use is mainly done manually by human resources and is centered on the owner. A good system must never rely on a single individual and should be done in a regular order. The main purpose of this thesis is to create a better warehouse system which is more automatic  and less dependant on the owner. There are 3 main improvements in this thesis, i.e. inventory control system, construction of a database for stocking purpose, and warehouse layout improvement.Inventory control system is done by changing the method of goods ordering into periodic review with 3 days duration. The duration is prolonged from the current 1 day review system because there are too many stock inspections done with the old system. The construction of database is done to hasten the input of stock datas and to give employees access toward a certain information regarding goods (e.g. Number of goods left, price of goods) that was originally known only by the owner. The layout improvement is done based on the preceding inventory control improvement. The current random goods layout is given order based on the speed of sales and optimal stock value which is decided in the inventory control system.

Abstract

PT. Klojen is a TV cable company in Lumajang, East java. The objective of this reseach is designing standard service at PT. Klojen. Designing standard based on the observation that conducted by author, namely by the initial stage of distributing questionnaires to capture and rank the customer complaints. Thus, author made observation and interview to find out more details. Then, author designed the service standard which is became the priority. The design is done by creating a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP), work instruction and forms. Employee are asked to implementing the service with the standards. The author made checklist to asses whether the service has actually been implemented. The result showed that the service standard has been successful applied, even with different times adaption between services and employees.

Abstract

PT. Kirmizhi Foam Indonesia is a manufacturing company moving in the foam and cushion production department. Currently, PT. Kirmizhi Foam Indonesia is spreading their wings to the furniture industry, due to the very high demand in the furniture market. This research is done based on the steps on creating business plan.  The steps of making business plan are: executive summary, enterprise description, product or service description, industry analysis, competition analysis, SWOT analysis, marketing sub-plan, operation sub-plan, human resources sub-plan, financial sub-plan, risk analysis, dan milestone schedule. The result of this research is that the furniture business plan is worthy to be run by PT. Kirmizhi Foam Indonesia by looking at the target market intended, furniture market analysis, competitors analysis, SWOT analysis, market planning, operational consideration, as well as the financial result which has 11% IRR.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make an improvement for company’s production process so that the consumer can get the best quality from the product. The improvement has purposed to fix production process because writer found some problems from the company, the problems are that the  humidity of the cigarette still not in the best standar yet and the second problem is some of the tobacco filling inside the cigarette still not in the best standard. Writer will do the experiment, the purpose of the experiment is to get a new standard that can implemented at the company’s production process. The output from the experiment is a combination of formula from the factors that affect the responses. Next, writer do the improvement for QC departmen. The purpose is to fix the cigarettes that have not fill in the right amount of tobaco can get well sorted and improve the worker’s efficiency. The method that writter’s choose is using the sensitive measurement equipment with amount of sampling 40 cigarettes.

Abstract

Company X is a company which distributes pharmaceutical products such as medicines, medical devices, as well as consumary products including but not limited to milk, drinks, and snacks. The target for OTP that has been decided / agreed to by the company is 97.5%, but unfortunately the target has yet to be reached by Company X as it is currently standing at 84,78%To increase the percentage of the current OTP, the problems will be identified by using fishbone diagrams with 5-whys analysis. One of the major problem that has been identified is the scaterred goods. The writer suggests a solution using the six sigma philosophy. The six sigma philosophy produced a solution of using a handy talkie to a certain picker and to create a temporary staging transit. The solution yields an increase of 2.93% to the OTP.
