PT. X is an electronics manufacturing that produces various electronics product and components. The company operates three manufacturing plants and one main warehouse; they are all located in separate buildings. Material and components required for manufacturing are stored and delivered from the main warehouse; each materials and components are consolidated and put into a pallet and secured by stretch wrap first before being transported to the three manufacturing plants. The pallet movement is a closed loop, meaning the empty pallets are returned back to the main warehouse. Stretch wrap is a single-use material, once used are discarded. The use of such material is a sustainable issue. Using Triple Bottom Line approach for the sustainable problem to evaluate and produce a suitable alternative that is sustainable and doesn’t burden the PT X’s financials. TBL approach selects an alternative that can replace stretch wrap by evaluating and measuring how each consolidation method and tool based on factors of Economic Measure, Environmental Measure and Social & Human Measure. Resulting evaluation produces that the suggested alternative, pallet cover is a more economically viable, reusable and relatively easy to use, meaning a better solution.

During this pandemic, many learning activities that were initially carried out face-to-face were replaced with online learning using applications. Several universities in Indonesia have started implementing online learning for students and lecturers from the odd semester of the 2020 academic year to the odd semester of 2021. The work on this final project uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method which is the method usually used in analyzing the acceptance of a new technology. This study is also used to determine the existence of several variables that will affect user decisions in the acceptance and use of the new technology. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 152 students of a study program at a private university. After all the data has been collected, the researcher will analyze the data descriptively and test the hypotheses that have been made by testing using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to determine the influence relationship between indicators and latent variables. The results obtained from the study state that the results in this study are used to determine the factors that influence the acceptance of video conference by students of one of the study programs of a private university so that the results of this research can provide information on the results that can be used by the study program of a private university in knowing factors of student interest in online learning and maximizing the use of video conferencing.

SKU 2 DC packing process on line 9 PT. X is done manually by operators using three methods. These three methods were analyzed with time study and simulated with Promodel software. Methods with higher unit per man hour which are method 1 with seven operators and method 2 with eight operators are analyzed again and given some improvements. Operators improve their motion based on two hands process chart, focusing the work of the operator by fixing the job description, improve the working space layout, and change the speed of wrapping machine. There are two solution improvements. Solution 1 is using method 1 with 88 ppm wrapping machine speed and solution 2 is using method 2 with 120 ppm wrapping machine speed. The result of the improvements is an increase in productivity of 3,85% for solution 1 to 13,46 unit per man hour and 15,3% for solution 2 to 16,05 unit per man hour.

PT. X is a company engaged in the production of packaging such as compacts, bottles, tubes, and jars. The packaging produced will be used for packaging various kinds of cosmetics. During the production process this company experienced problems with high item rejects and downtime rates caused by workers doing many activities that did not provide added value (NVA), therefore the company wanted to improve the performance of workers. The purpose of this study is to provide an effort to improve the performance of the MTP Department using the Daily In The Life Of (DILO) method. The DILO method is used to analyze all the activities of a worker during his working hours. The DILO method is carried out in several stages including analysis of time composition, workload, and actual job description. The results obtained through the analysis where MTP workers have an average NVA activity value of 44.37% and the value of other items of 38.77%. From the results of the analysis, suggestions for improvement will be given by providing solutions to improve the performance of the MTP Department workers at IMM EBM

PT.X is a company engaged in the manufacturing of heat exchangers. PT.X has a standard time formula for each process on the production floor. The washing process formula currently only uses three variables from the specifications of each unit. The research carried out at PT.X aims to see whether the standard washing process standard time formula is still relevant or not to be used today. Observation data shows that the average time of 105.88% of the results of the calculation formula is greater than the actual time. The results of the calculation of the new formula are designed to approach the actual time and only use two of the seven factors that significantly influence the washing process time based on the ANOVA test results. The new standard time formula was built using a regression model. Standardizing the washing process using a new formula can reduce the washing process production costs by 39.8% from € 0.1008 / minute to € 0.0607 / minute.

X Company is a private multinational company which manufactures a broad range of packaging for makeup and skincare. Quality of the manufactured products is the focus of production process that taken place on X Company, so that the quality inspection are conducted twice. In practice, there is a fairly high number of inspection error done by the inspector. Inspection errors cause a high risk of defective products getting into the hands of customers. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the inspector’s accuracy when conducting inspections using the Attribute Agreement method. Based on the measurement results, it is known that as many as 66.67% of inspectors in the EBM (Extrusion Blow Molding) area have an accuracy level that is below the company given standard. A root cause analysis was carried out to determine the root cause of the problem using the help of fishbone diagram. The root cause are dominated by the aspects of man and method. The results of the analysis will be used as a reference in improvement proposals, using the help of the design thinking method.

PT X is a circuit breaker company that produces various types of products. There are several production segments and each segment are used to produce one product type. PT X has conducted an evaluation of the facility layout in segment I, and found the need to improve the facility layout. Shortcomings of the current layout are the arrangement of several facilities, which located outside of the available area for segment I. The arrangement of new production layout, however, should not reduce production output. Production facility re-layout is costly; therefore, simulation is used to analyze the proposed layout. Simulation approach is used to compare the initial layout against the proposed layout. The simulation model was built using Promodel 10 software, with a simulation time of 22.5 hours and replicated for 25 times. The proposed layout is derived using an evolutionary algorithm method, with adjustment in respect to some constraints from the initial layout. The proposed layout can answer the needs of segment I, because there are no facilities that exceed the specified area and result in more products in a day than the initial model.

Competition in the era of globalization is inevitable and companies are racing to improve themselves continuously. PT. Alam Jaya Seafood wants to measure their ISO 22000:2018 standards implementation readiness. PT. Alam Jaya Seafood is HACCP certified, but not ISO 22000:2018 certified. Internal audit is a way to measure the implementation readiness of the food safety management system as well as a requirement to obtain ISO 22000:2018 certification. Self-assessment can be carried out on an internal audit of ISO 22000:2018 by the company. The assessment criteria used is the Baldrige scoring method. The Baldrige scoring method is centered on the ADLI criteria (Approach, Deployment, Learning, and Integration). The output of the research is the ISO 22000:2018 self-assessment design which consists of questions and assessment degradation and self-assessment implementation instructions. The purpose of creating the self-assessment design is to create an independent and measured way of assessing ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system in PT. Alam Jaya Seafood.

The article discusses a job demands and job resources at a shipping logistics company. Jobs related to ships and logistics tend to have bigger problems compared to regular workers. This research focuses on seeing the job demands or the work pressure that the workers feel, the job resources or the support that the company gives, and the gap between the company’s and worker’s point of view regarding the job demands and job resources the company gave and the worker received. To see the amount of job demands and job resources, a questionnaire is made with various questions related to job demands and job pressures that has answer options of likert scale 1-5. Job demands with a value bigger than 3 and the gap that is more than 1 between the company’s and worker’s point of view will be analyzed to look for their causes and make the suggestions. The suggestions are made to reduce the tension the workers get from working or the job demands and to balance the tension and support that the workers receive and the company gives

The international standard ISO 45001:2018 is a standard that needs to be applied for organizations in ensuring the welfare of workers. X University as an organization that is participating in expanding its scope internationally, both through internal and external activities, also requires an international standard in ensuring the safety and health of the entire community in it. Research was conducted to design ISO 45001:2018 at X University, especially in clause 6 that design by identifying hazards, assessing, and proposing controls. The research was conducted by conducting qualitative observations and interviews on 10 X University activities. The results of the analysis show that campus maintenance has the most high risk activities, the most dangerous causes are due to worker negligence, the most dangerous impact is serious injury, and the most proposed control is administrative.
