Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the body body sector. The company is growing, marked by the increasing number of orders, production volume, and the number of types of products. The absence of an unplanned production schedule and raw materials caused this company to be late in delivery and suffered indirect material losses. Due to the absence of a PPIC system in the company, this causes inaccurate production times so that the time given to customers is often missed. Therefore, this company increasingly needs planning for its production and inventory. In designing the PPIC system, so that in the future the production process can run according to the plan and the completion time will be as promised to the customer. the method used is the method of forecasting and production planning, the preparation of the master production schedule, and the raw material requirements as well as the schedule for ordering the required raw materials.

Abstract

Company assets are important for every company because assets are one of the property owned by the company. Asset management will improve the company’s finances through efficient and optimal use of assets, planning for asset purchases or investments, and increase asset security. PT SPIL also manages vehicle assets such as vehicle maintenance, vehicle documents renewal, and vehicle movement between locations. PT SPIL performs asset management manually which causes several problems, such as time wasted recording asset variables, disorganized data, prone to incorrect records, and difficulty in finding past data. Manual asset management problems can be minimized by digitizing asset management. The digitization of asset management can be in the form of implementing an asset management information system. This system is designed to perform automatic and integrated asset updates, provide asset management reminder notifications, and store asset management data. With this system, PT SPIL can extend vehicle documents without delay resulting in unnecessary sanctions, can take better care of the vehicle so that the vehicle has a longer life cycle, and avoid miscommunication between the core and branches.

Abstract

Occupational health and safety is an important aspect to be considered by company, also in university. The academic community, which is active in the campus area cannot be separated from the risk of work accidents. This research was done at a private university that was established in Surabaya, East Java. With the extent of the area of the university, it can be possible to pose a potential hazard. Work accidents may occur because of the hazards that have not been identified at the campus area. Therefore, a Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) is needed to identify potential hazards at the campus area. Hazard identification is carried out to determine various potential hazards found at the campus area. After identifying the hazards, then it will carry out a risk assessment. The results of hazard identification and risk assessment at the campus area obtained 164 in the low risk category, 8 in the medium risk category, and 8 in the high risk categories. Every risk found will be carried out to risk control. Risk control will be controlled by means of elimination, substitution, administration, design, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic has made real estate companies experience obstacles or difficulties in selling their properties, so they are more focused on promoting and marketing the company through an online system. This has an impact on increasing the work of marketing personnel because they focus more on online systems in promoting and marketing the company. This study aims to determine the level of burnout of marketing personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire distributed online in the form of a google form. Data processing was carried out using descriptive statistics and ANOVA to analyze the differences and calculate the burnout weights of workers in real estate companies. The level of heavy burnout consists of workers with the most female sex with staff positions aged 25-40 years. Most of the workers are married with 1 child. Education of graduates at most diploma-S1 majoring in business management, marketing, design, communication science, industrial engineering with a length of work < 6 years.

Abstract

PT Indoceria Plastic & Printing is still in the 5R design stage in the logistics area and Flexible Production area for its employees. The problem faced by the Indoceria Company is that the Company is still not clean, has not been well organized and has not yet cultivated the 5R method, so that operator performance cannot be maximized. The effort that can be done in improving company performance is by designing the 5R method. The design and implementation of 5R carried out in this Final Project is to clean the factory area, tidy up the equipment in factory, make a storage place for equipment and make 5R aids in the form of hygiene posters, 5R posters. The final results of the implementation of 5R companies are getting better.

Abstract

PT. X is a manufacturing company that produce animal feed such as fish and shrimp feed. In 2020, total product defect rate for floating fish feeds occasionally exceeds the determined threshold. Because of that PT. X planned to uphold its product quality to its determined level thereby the customer will be satisfied with products and sustain the company. Pareto Diagram, Fishbone chart, and 5-whys analysis method are used to find the root causes of the problem and the type of defects that has to be eliminated in this research.  The root causes that has been identified yielded several improvement such as adding automatic machine, create standardization for raw material, create module, and conduct training for the opeartor. Operator training is the improvement chosen by the company's criteria. After observation from the percentage of defect by two sample t test, it is shown that training for the production machine operator do not yield significant impact. The average of reject after implementation is not too different from the average defect before implementation.

Abstract

The problem in checking products is so many workers that make mistakes at inspections product. The type of blow molding product defect that many worker error inspections are scratch. The type of injection molding product defect is difficult to inspect are color defects and deformation. The root problem made after knew the problem. The root problem of checking products is domination by man factors and method factors. The root problem of checking products was implement in the training module. The training module made using the Best Training Practice guidelines, where the training methods used to meet the competency needs of workers' performance to be more efficient. The training module created modules, tasks, and tests. The module material consists of four parts, defects definition, causes of defects, defect classification, and types of product defects. The task in the module is to identify reject and accept goods also be able to use, read, and understand worker aids. Tests used are pretest, posttest, and practical test.

Abstract

PT. X had the probem of low haulage productivity in 2021 where the target of 10 ritases per truk per day was often not achieved. The company has made improvements using the DMAIC method. This study aims to provide an analysis of the achievement, control, and development of productivity improvements in haulage trucking. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and company past data. Data processing was done by histograms, T statistical test, and control chart. From the results of the study, it is knon that the T-test shows that conditions before the repair have been validated and are not better than the conditions after the repair. The I-MR chart shows that the improvement after the repair process is stable and maintained within the existing UCL and LCL. Truck availability increased 7,15% to 92,44%. Driver availiability increased 3% to 94%. Ritase achievement increased by 25,01% to 12,15 ritase/truck.

Abstract

Food needs are one of the basic needs that must be met every day. Every society has different habits in meeting food needs. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the habit of meeting food needs, due to restrictions imposed by the government to reduce the spread of the virus. Changes in habits consist of several things, namely change in food or drink. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in the behavior of urban communities in basic food needs during the pandemic. Questionnaires are used to determine changes in the behavior of urban communities in meeting basic needs. The respondents obtained were 407 respondents from Surabaya and Sidoarjo. The data was analyzed using excel software, and IBM SPSS Statistic 22. The data generated were percentage data from frequency, mean, VR or Variation Ratio, p-value from the results of the kruskall-wallis and mann-Whitney to find out whether there are differences sociodemographic and habits in meeting basic needs. The results showed that the habits of the people of Surabaya and Sidoarjo in meeting basic needs had During the pandemic the change food or drink factor during pandemic people prefer to buy fresh food ingredients and process them into ready-to-eat food

Abstract

In a manufacturing company, a production process is one thing that is very concerned. In a production process, there are activities that are classified as activities that do not add value to the product. This is called a non-value added activity. Therefore, analysis and improvement can help to reduce waste contained in the production process of making TWD-DHT-K002 products. The method used to analyze the existence of non-value added activities is value stream mapping. This method can help to map the actual production flow and can help classify activities that are value added and non-value added. The result of this research is a time comparison of value added, non-value added from before and after the proposal. The results obtained can be seen from the difference in Manufacturing Cycle Efficiency (MCE). MCE before the proposal was 0.40% while after the proposal was 0.41%. Then for the results of the comparison of the percentage before and after the proposed value added and non-value added on the TWD line, the value added increased by 7.82%. Non-value added decreased by 6.63% while for necessary non-value added decreased by 1.19%. While on line A3 for value added it increases by 1.52% and necessary non-value added decreases by 1.52%.
