Abstract

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a diversion program undertaken by the government and become a modern household items today. The risk of the use of LPG is leakage of gas tube or gas hose. Gas leakage can couse explosion or fire resulting in many deaths and injuries. Governments have to disseminate the home safety of LPG and train how to mitigate household accident. This work aimed to minimize the possibility of fire and created a tool that is able to detect leakage of LPG  using gas sensor and Arduino Uno. We create a mechanical design diagram as a model that illustrates the relationships between sub-systems. When the sensor detects the LPG gas, the system activates the relay and indicator lights. In addition, this tool can send SMS in case of leakage of gas, so that action can be done quickly to stop the gas flow.

Abstract

Decision making is an action taken to solve a problem which is based on considerations facts or information and some experience related to the problem. Lack of knowledge and understanding of the importance of the implementation of a healthy menu is still difficult determine composition of healthy food menu correspond to nutritional adequacy rate. So that most of people still ignore that fact which is a big potential of disease cause at our body.  Along with the development of technology and more complex inside the calculation needs balanced nutrition in a variety of food menu then it is necessary designed a system to provide an assessment of the healthy menu selections using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This system can provide a decision in the selection process of a healthy food menu according to body condition based on height and weight, age, specific conditions and activities undertaken. Abstract

Abstract— in this paper, the work used to explore three of low level feature descriptors, namely: binary texture, energy-based, orientation based content, and DC descriptors. A simple binary algorithm is applied to transform DCT values into binary, a histogram is generated by using horizontal and vertical features, and energy based of average DCT values to construct indexing key for image retrieval.  The experiment shows that binary texture descriptor demonstrates the highest in average precision amongst other low level descriptors.  The research was also explored to calculate the effectiveness of image retrieval in DCT and by using commercial image processing package Adobe Photoshop Album (APA) as comparison.

Abstract

About the quality of campus management and already have an international standard internal quality assurance system. Handling complaints is important, because in a good handling process it will affect the reputation of the agency / company. The purpose of this study is to design and build an information technology that can accommodate complaints, criticisms and suggestions on the operational part of the campus and lecturers who are on the Darmajaya IBI in the form of E-Complaint. The stages of system development used are using the SDLC waterfall model, often called a linear sequential model. This e-complaint application makes it easy for IBI Darmajaya students to provide complaints (complaints) and criticisms and suggestions to the operational part of the campus and lecturers. This application uses a bootstrap framework that is able to manage the appearance of the application to be responsive. By being responsive, the application can adjust the shape on various device sizes. This application is useful to help the Quality Assurance Center (QAC) which functions as a quality assurance agency for a campus.Keywords: Application, E-complaint, Mobile Website, Responsive, Information Technology

Abstract

In this paper we try explore artificial intelligent approach to detect poultry desease caused by virus. We built a web based expert system application to help veterinarian diagnose poultry whether infected by virus or not. In this work we utilize expert system to decide what kind of virus or desesase detected. Our work demonstrates that our expert system algorithm quite good eventhough the menu structure is quite simple. Application was built with PHP on windows platform since PHP considered as widely used tool for developing web technology programming. The system has also some advantages such as fast, eliminate data redundant, and accurate in deciding kid of virus detected. Keywords : artificial intelligent, virus, poultry.

Abstract

The today’s learning process is greatly influenced by student’s memory. In learning obstetrics, the delivery of learning material using guidebook still used old learning method where the obstetrics students have to understand the material delivered by the lecturer. Besides, by using the guidebook, the users have to look up the meanings of obstetric words manually, without any pronunciation model. It is even very difficult to bring the book and to update as to the needs and current development. Therefore, it is needed the availability of obstetric dictionary that can make it easy for the people to look up the obstetric terminology easily and quickly. The application of obstetric dictionary is an application made for the development method that was prototype that expects the obstetrics students to learn the obstetric glossary more easily. The prototype method has several phases, namely: needs collection, design and prototype evaluation. It can also test the prototype and the built application to solve problems. This study was done to result in an android-based application of obstetrics dictionary which can facilitate the learning process to the students and the users. This application can help understanding and pronouncing terminologies of obstetrics well. Keywords : Dictionary, Obstetrics, Prototype, Android.

Abstract

Heart disease ranks the top cause of death compared to stroke, lung cancer, breast cancer, and AIDS. Most ordinary people are very concerned about health, especially heart health. They are reluctant to check their heart health due to lack of service to patients, lack of medical personnel, especially cardiologists and limited working hours of doctors. So the need for a technology that is capable of adopting human thinking is artificial intelligence technology. Expert system is one of the artificial intelligence technologies. This expert system was created as a means to help diagnose and manage patients. The development of this system uses the forward chaining and certainty factor algorithms, and the system development tools used are UML (Unified Modeling Language), this research will produce an expert system application to diagnose heart disease with the output of possible diseases along with the percentage. It is hoped that this expert system will help and accelerate the work of cardiologists in diagnosing early heart disease.Keywords— heart disease, forward chaining, Unified Modeling Language, expert systems, diagnosis

Abstract

Printer as the printing tool is already dominate several field, such as office, shop, school, university, educational institution, etc. In certain time, there must be trouble in printer using, just like another machines, damages. So that, no matter how hi-tech the printing tool, it must need the expert to fix the damages.Expert system transform the knowledge of the expert(s) to be a computer system that help general people to do anything like an expert. In this case, expert system is built to diagnose the damage of printer type Canon BJC-2100SP. This expert system will increase time of effort to diagnose the damage of the printer type Canon BJC-2100SP for computer technician, specially for printer type Canon BJC-2100SP. Abstract

Libraries play an important role in advancing the institute of education because the library is a place to improve knowledge for the students. In the library of SMPN 12 Kotabumi running processes such as borrowing books, returning books, encode books, the data replace data of members and replace of data administration are still modest. Avoid delays in the system library services SMPN 12 Kotabumi, it is necessary to design an application system library that can help and easier the activities of the circulation of the book. In designing the application system library of SMP N 12 Kotabumi uses prototype method and Unified Modeling Language (UML) as well as for language programmer using the Borland Delphi 7, with a SQL Server database. Application system design library of SMP N 12 Kotabumi is used to support library activities such as record and data processing of member, the data of book, the data borrowed, the data returns, late charges and catalog book.Hopefully with this library application system design it can solve the problems which exist in the library and can help in the development of science students.Key Words : Borland Delphi 7, Libraries, Prototype, Unified Modeling Language (UML).
