Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the quality of service that includes physical evidence,responsiveness,reliability,assurance,and empathy to wards the satisfaction of the student in STIE Mandala Jember.This type of correlational study aims to find the effect of simultaneous,partial as well as the most dominant variable.The population in this research as many as239 college students and research on a sample of 40 students. Data collected with the question form and analyzed by Multiple Linear regression analysis.Based on the results of the analysis are simultaneously influence is evidenced by the hypothesis test is done,the F test the value of F=23.151,while the value of F table=2.49.Being partially showed variable  physical evidence and the low responsiveness of services provent ot count lower or less than t table ie 1.69092. And proved to be the most dominant variable empathy with t count most not ably 2,581.That is a need to increase the quality of services, the better implementation of service quality dimensions,the higher the student satisfaction, and viceversa.

Abstract

Jember University (UNEJ) is a State University (PTN) that has the main duty of providing higher education and provide education based on Indonesian culture in a scientific way that includes education, research and community service to develop skills and improve the quality of life and human dignity of Indonesia in efforts to achieve the national goal. But to achieve its goals are still having some problems where the level of burnout and the turnover intention, especially the temporary educational employees is still quite high. The goals of research are: to prove significantly the direct influence of leadership style, work environment to turnover intention nor the indirect influence of leadership style, work environment to turnover intention through the burnout. This research is a kind of explanatory research with quantitative approach by sampel as much as 245 respondent is the temporary educational employees Jember University. For analyzing variable causal relationship and hypotesis test, so analyse tools  which use is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).Based of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) result known that the leadership style have positive and significant to burnout; work environment have positive and significant to burnout; leadership style have positive and significant to turnover intention; work environment have positive and significant to turnover intention; burnout have positive and significant to turnover intention.

Abstract

This research is a confirmatory and explanatory research at three outlets of Conato bakery in Jember. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The population in this study were all consumers of three outlets of Conato in Jember. The number of samples used 135 samples. The technique or method of sampling used is proposive random sampling. The analysis model used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results of this study indicate that the brand image is the variable of the greatest influence on customer satisfaction. Consumer satisfaction significantly affects the word of mouth of consumers from outlets of Conato in Jember. Product quality, price and brand image through customer satisfaction as intervening variable can increase the influence on word of mouth. These results can be concluded that consumer satisfaction is the most important variable role in consumer behavior research in making purchases at stores Conato in Jember. Abstract

This research is aimed to formulate how strategy of increasing human resource competence (lecturer) in STIE Mandala Jember . The analysis method used is Multiple Linear Regression and SWOT Analysis. Based on the analysis of Multiple Linear Regression proved significantly that the competence is influenced by the variables of Motivation, Self character, Self concept, Skill and Knowledge, while through SWOT analysis on Hold and Maintain positions, it can be interpreted that the implementation of lecturer competence can be maintained but there is the possibility of development and improvement of its implementation. Some development strategies that can be done are: Development of Pedagogical Competence, Competence Development related to Information Technique, Development of Management Competence / Administration, Curriculum Competency Development, Development of Scientific Competence (Research, Community Service and Publication), Development of Competence Evaluation, and Development of Personal Competence . some programs that can support the development of lecturers competence are: Optimizing the cooperation that has been established with outsiders, can as an alternative source of funds and as a place of conducting research and Community Service, Improving the coordination between existing sections such as Prodi and P3M, foster pride as lecturer as well as rejuvenation of spirit as lecturer. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the survival and success of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs-UMKM), which is managed by the young. This study used a qualitative approach, using in-depth interview. The results showed that factors such as access to capital, social networks, competitive advantage and strategic market position, orientation on consumers, and marketing communications has a major contribution to the sustainability and success of UMKM run by young people. While the business plan does not have a major contribution to the sustainability of SMEs. The success of SMEs can be seen from the increase in turnover and operating margin in each period.

Abstract

Rewardwas an honorarium or a remuneration which is accepted by someone depend on his job that has done. Reward was divided into two types, the first one was intrinsic reward, and the second one was extrinsic reward. Intrinsic reward was a reward which derived from the internal of someone. Extrinsic reward was a reward which derived from the external of someone. Theoretically, reward could give an effect on job satisfaction and individual commitment. Job satisfaction is a reflection of what was want from the job and what was received from the job. Commitment is a condition which individuals become bounded and involved by its activities and keep retaining the activities and the involvements. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of intrinsic reward and extrinsic reward on job satisfaction and commitment to vocational high school educators in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency. The types of this research was explanative research and using primary and secondary data collecting methods. Results of this research was reward, both intrinsic and extrinsic reward, had a direct, positive, and significant effect on job satisfaction and commitment to vocational high school educators in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency. Besides, job satisfaction also had a direct, positive, and significant effect on commitment to vocational high school educators in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency. Data analysis methods that used in this research was descriptive statistic analysis and inferential statistic analysis with path analysis. Based on the results, it is expected to vocational high school in Pandaan district Pasuruan regency could give more priority to improved the reward, both intrinsic and extrinsic reward by improved the job satisfaction, so that the commitment of educators also could be improved.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Bank Jatim Branch of Banyuwangi. samples used in this study as many as 100 samples from a population of 150 people by sampling using simple random sampling. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the change management leadership and work culture and its influence on employee performance. Data analysis techniques in this study using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that there is significant influence between management changes to leadership, there is significant influence between management changes to workplace culture, there is significant influence between management changes to employee performance, there is significant influence between the leadership of the working culture, there is significant influence among the leadership on employee performance and there is no significant influence between the work culture on employee performance.

Abstract

This research includes explanatory research because it is intended to measure and analyze the presence or absence of influence of job satisfaction factors and organizational support for work motivation and teacher performance at SMK Private Sumbersari District Jember. Analyzer used in this research is path analysis. This is so that researchers can analyze the direct influence of each variable studied. The variables used are job satisfaction variable and organizational support as independent variable affecting work motivation variable as intervening and teacher performance as dependent variable. In this research the population is a teacher at SMK Swasta Sumbersari District Jember a number of 49 people consisting of 13 people as a teacher SMK Trunojoyo, 26 people as a teacher SMK Kartini and 10 people as teachers SMK Muh.Sroedji. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated or census sampling, where all members of the population are sampled.

Abstract

This study is purposed to analyze the employee performance of Public Service Units Distric Jember such as Department of Population and Civil Registration, Department of Manpower and Transmigration and National Unity and Politics Agency. Job satisfaction and organizational culture are used as the independent variables in order to analyze it. This study is also used organizational commitment as the intervening variabel to measure how high the effect employee performance levels. The population of this study are all the employees such as government employees and honorary employee. The population numbers are 116 employees. The research used Sensus Methode. The collected data used questioners method by giving questions list directly to the respondents. But after retrieval only 106 quetstionnaires were fully loaded. The analysis data technique in this study operated through the program SEM analysis with software IBM SPSS Analisis of Moment Structure (AMOS). Abstract

The research objective are: (1) to analyze the development of GDP for 5 years in each sector, (2) to analyze the economic base sectors that can promote economic growth territory and, (3) to analyze economic sectors that have potential to be developed as supporting economic growth in Probolinggo Regency. The tools used GDP growth analysis, Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Shift Share analysis and Klassen Tipologi. The results showed the transport and communications sector is the highest growth sector in Probolinggo Regency and Agriculture, electricity, and water and services into potential sectors in Probolinggo Regency. The growth rate of the agricultural sector, the sector of excavation, and electricity and water supply sector is faster than GDP of the East Java.The agricultural sector and the electricity and water sector are excellent sectors of good potential, while the services sector is a sector with good value potential.
