Abstract

In this globalization era, technology plays a significant role in human’s life. Many systems have been developed to help people work efficiently and to reduce human error. Nowadays, decision making is one of the most important things in companies. Making the right decision may affect company’s profit and success.In this thesis, a research is made to help Chang Thien Hakka Kitchen Restaurant in choosing the best supplier effectively and efficiently. In many restaurants, production process is a very important process in the continuous growth and profitability of the restaurants. The effectiveness and efficiency of production process is determined by many factors such as availability of raw materials, quality of raw materials, price of raw materials, and so on. In this thesis, Chang Thien Hakka Kitchen Restaurant is using 6 criteria in determining the best supplier such as price of raw material, quality of raw material, suppliers’ location, supply management, suppliers’ flexibility, suppliers’ service.Therefore, it is very crucial to choose the best supplier of raw materials for the restaurant.Through this research, it is known that currently Chang Thien Hakka Kitchen Restaurant still chooses its supplier manually. In this thesis, a decision support system for Chang Thien Hakka Kitchen Restaurant is developed using a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Others Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) where the criteria used in evaluating the best supplier is determined by the restaurant management. Then, the qualitative criteria are converted into quantitative data so that it can be measured objectively.At last, the program was tested by user and had the same result with the manual calculation (program error 0,002). Key word supplier, selection, method, AHP, TOPSIS, DSS

Abstract

Remote sensing is the science that has an important role in obtaining information on the object under study without having to make direct contact with the object. Remote sensing is a solution to a good farm system as it can provide precise information and good analysis. This study was conducted based on the application of remote sensing science in order to classify the nitrogen content of rice farming. Nitrogen has such an important role in the growth of rice plants. The objective in this research is to predict the classification about the nitrogen content in a rice farming areas, especially in Karawang, West Java.Classification process is done in two phases, training and testing. The method used for the training phase is kurtosis projections and Jackknife procedure. The results of the training phase is to get the mean and standard deviation to be used for testing. In the testing phase classification process is carried out based on MODIS imagery for the area Karawang, West Java.The experiment results is known that on March 30, 2012 approximately 44% of the total area of rice farming in Karawang (107.525 ha) which contains enough nitrogen, while the other has 56% less nitrogen content. Abstract

Aplikasi yang dibuat berupa aplikasi perangkat lunak untuk menghasilkan jadwal matakuliah dan ujian yang optiman digunakanlah metode vertex graph coloring. Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk menghasilkan jadwal matakuliah dan ujian yang memenuhi semua syarat dan batasan yang sudah ditentukan, dengan semininam mungkin pelanggaran untuk ketentuan yang sifatnya tidak wajib dipenuhi. Dari hasil pengujian jadwal perkuliahan semester ganjil 2015/2016 tidak terdapat pelanggaran hardconstraint dengan pelanggaran softconstraint = 0 dan berhasil dijadwalkan 55 matakuliah dengan waktu proses 3 menit 14 detik dan hasil pengujian jadwal perkuliahan semester genap 2015/2016 tidak terdapat pelanggaran hardconstraint dengan pelanggaran softconstraint = 2 dan berhasil dijadwalkan 78 matakuliah dengan waktu proses 7 menit 1 detik. Dari hasil pengujian jadwal ujian semester ganjil 2015/2016 tidak terdapat pelanggaran hardconstraint dan softconstraint dan berhasil dijadwalkan 55 matakuliah dengan waktu proses 11 menit 33 detik. Dari hasil pengujian jadwal ujian semester genap 2015/2016 tidak terdapat pelanggaran hardconstraint dan softconstraint dan berhasil dijadwalkan 68 matakuliah dengan waktu proses 12 menit 13 detik

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di bidang informasi mendorong setiap instansi atau perusahaan untuk dapat tetap mengikuti perkembangannya,.CV Atlas Motor  merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penjualan Sparepart,dalam melakukan usahanya CV Atlas Motor masih secara manual dan belum terkomputerisasi dalam pemrosesan datanya sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan, baik dalam hal pencatatan, perhitungan maupun pemalsuan data, yang dapa merugikan perusahaan.Selama ini juga CV Atlas Motor melakukan penjualan sparepart hanya di tempat usaha tersebut,hal ini kurang efektif, dan dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju perusahaan harus dapat beradaptasi.Dengan permasalah yang ada tersebut maka dirancanganlah sebuah program aplikasi E-commerce yang dapat memudahkan perusahaan dalam melakukan kegiatan penjualan.Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memudahkan karyawan dalam melakukan pengolahan data seperti purhace order kepada supplier,melakukan retur kepada supplier sehingga data yang didapat tidak dapat dimanipulasi.Selain itu tujuan dari pembuatan aplikasi E-commerce ini dimaksudkan  untuk memudahkan dalam melakuakan pembeliaan dan meningkatkan efisiensi penyampaian informasi yang di butuhkan konsumen.Metode yang digunakan dalam rancangan ini menggunakan SDLC(Systems Development Life Cycle) dan dirancang menggunakan PHP dan untuk data base menggunakan MySql.Sistem ini telah selesai dan telah diuji.Dari hasil pengujian sistem berjalan dengan baik dan dapat diimplementasikan. Key words: Sistem Informasi, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), E-commerce.

Abstract

Stock is an instrumentation that has the fundamentalsof a company. Owning a share means owning theshares of the company. Shares can be traded on theIndonesian Stock Exchange by the entire public. TheLQ45 stock grouping and recommendation applicationis a desktop-based application that aims to assist inmaking investment decisions in the Indonesian CapitalMarket. The application is designed using the Pythonprogramming language. The application applies the KMedoidsClustering method to group stocks andExponential Moving Average along with WeightedProducts to make recommendations or sort shares.Users can enter the desired share criteria and theapplication will recommend according to the inputcriteria from the user. Testing on this application iscarried out by the BlackBox testing method,questionnaire, K-Medoids Algorithm Testing and theoutput results of the program. From the results of theblack box testing, the application results can runaccording to plan. In testing the K-Medoids Algorithm,the results obtained that the number of clustersdetermined are in accordance with the number of 2clusters using the elbow method. And in testing theoutput results of the program, the results obtained arethe recommendation accuracy of 80.8%.

Abstract

Book searching in the library is an activity that needs a lot of waste of time. Therefore, it is necessary to design a tool that can search for books based on charcter recognition. The characters willl eventually be recognized by the code contained books. The design is expected to help users for easy and practical searching of books. The method used in the paper is the Analytic Signal Vector (ASV). The ASV method works on the vectors of signals basis. The process of ASV method consists of several stages, starting calculating from Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT) to obtain the analytical signal, finding the degree of similarity by using the Hermitian inner product, and calculating the Magnitude of Complex Number which is used to find the  similarity value from two complex numbers by using this method, it is expected that the characters can be recognized and the system can search the gueries properly

Abstract

Sherly Busana fashion outlet is a clothing store that sells wide variations of clothing from various brands, such as T-shirts, shirts, long pants, and short pants. Of course, with these wide variations of product, the considerably huge amount of customer is inevitable.The owners of Sherly Busana store, the husband and wife, are both in their fifties and sixties, while the fashion world is a fast-paced industry, leaving no room for the old-fashioned. And that’s exactly the problem which the owners of Sherly Busana store face. This paper offers a solution to the problem that the owners face by designing a web-based applications using the programming language PHP and android-based applications by using waterfall model as the mdel. The making of these applications strive for the success for people who still want to do business in the fashion industry, despite the age.

Abstract

Face recognition systems are very popular for authentication and security purposes. However, the development of recognition algorithms has been a true challenge, especially for handling the biometric characteristics of an object. One popular method for face representation is PCA (Principal Component Analysis). PCA is able to solve many recognition problems effectively and efficient by reducing the object (image) dimensions. However, PCA has its own drawbacks in the implementation. When the developed system uses a very large dimension of the input images, the system with the PCA method will have difficulties in constructing the covariance matrix and calculating the eigenvalues and eigenvectors. To overcome these problems, a face recognition system using the 2DPCA method is developed. The experiments show that the 2DPCA method could give higher recognition accuracies compared with that of the PCA method

Abstract

Cloud Removal is used to remove or reduce the clouds on the digital image which is taken from Landsat Satellite and to search the missing value which is covered by clouds. The purpose of this research is to find out information about the data which are contained in the missing value and also to determine the level of success of Wavelet Haar, Measure Of Center, and Image Averaging which are used to remove the cloud.Based on the process to reduce the error, Wavelet Haar method is the fastest one, because it is only requires one image as comparison. In other hand, Measure Of Center and Image Averaging methods require minimum 4(four) images to be the reference image.The experimental result shows that Wavelet Haar, Measure Of Center and Image Averaging method can reduce the error value of the cloud. Image Averaging method is the best method because it can reduce the error value from 21,55% become 13,77%. Key wordsCloud Removal, Wavelet Haar, Measure Of Center, Image Averaging

Abstract

White Blood Cell (WBC) Detection is one of many proposed studies in medical field. There are many accomplish researches of this study using several methods such as detection using contour technique or color technique. Unfortunately, most of proposed research to detect WBC still using stained blood cells image to find out the existence of WBC. This staining process take so much time and various substances to do the process. In this paper, a method proposed to detect white blood cell in an unstained image of blood cell preparations using watershed segmentation technique. Firstly, the textures of WBC area are extracted using HSV colorspace. Then watershed segmentation is performed to segment red blood cells area, which is the image result leaving only texture areas. Then each texture area is determined whether the area is a WBC area or not. Experimental result shows the proposed method achieved an average accuracy around 45% success rate.
