Abstract

The study on resource related to the strategy and performance usually focuses on human, financial, and physical capital resources. However, since the resources mentioned above are easily imitated, they rarely put the company in long lasting competitiveness advantage. This promotes a quest to search the most probable resources to be the company competitiveness advantage. The quest results in the unique company resources built inside its social environment called social capital. The social capital built by the company will affect the quality of acquired information used for developing the marketing competence. Studies on marketing competences generally were unspecific. Therefore, based on the research opportunity, this research is to test and prove empirically whether the social capital, information quality, marketing intelligence, and marketing innovation influence the marketing performance. This study also aims to prove whether marketing intelligence and innovation were the dominant factors in marketing performance.. The result of the study showed that commitment is the most important factor in building the social capital. The nurturing of social capital can increase the information quality acquired and the marketing performance. Through the high-grade information quality, the social capital will increase both marketing intelligence and innovation. Marketing intelligence is dominant marketing competence in increasing marketing. Information quality has yet to contribute directly to the marketing performance, however, the marketing intelligence and innovation can support the development of marketing performance.Keywords: Social Capital, Marketing Information Quality, Marketing Intelligence, Marketing Innovation, Marketing Performance.

Abstract

This research is purposed to analyz conduct and performance market of beef cattle in Aceh Besar regency so will can an konfrehensive explain rate of efficiency of marketing of beef cattle. To observe alternative of developing program of beef who can to apply in Aceh Besar regency. Metods of research is survey metods. If the track marketing is shotter, the price of marketing will be smaller spent, more bigger marketing margin, price share will be bigger and exceptionally to the trade. The collution between from seller is strong. Price competitive on rate seriously. Benefit of marketing is influenced by added of beef cattle, cost of marketing, and metods of selling of seller. The distribution of price share not fair so marketing system be not effecien. The developing of Aceh beef cattle must be developing of regency agribusiness berbasis beef cattle in Aceh Besar regency is integrited of beef cattle developing, organic of agriculture, raising of agroindustries and business developing of beef cattle.Keywords: Beef cattle, conduct n performance market.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the substance the effective principal’s management to increase the quality of public elementary school/MI (Islamic elementary school) in Malang and the effective principal’s leadership to increase the quality of public elementary school/MI in Malang. This research was conducted by using multi cases qualitative research approach in three super elementary schools in Malang, those are MIN Malang 1, SDN Kauman I and SDN Madyopuro IV. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data was analyzed descriptively by: (a) data reduction, (d) data presentation, (c) drawing conclusion, (d) individual data analysis, (e) cross cases data analysis. Data analysis was conducted through case data analysis and continued by with cross cases analysis. Research finding shows that the substance of effective management in three super elementary schools/MI in Malang (a) studentship management; (b) curriculum management; (c) human resources management; (d) tools and equipments management, (e) human relation management in which all of the managed professionally. The effective principal’s leadership refers to vision, mission, and objectives of SD/MI by implementing the establishing, empowering to teachers and staffs as well as students.Keywords: management, leadership, principal, effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is finding out which factors that influence small working performance. The detail purpose of this research is analyzing the influence of internal and external factors to performance, market segment access to performance, capital resource access to performance, capability to performance, management access to performance, technological access to performance, business vision to performance, guidance to performance, government regulation to performance.Location of this research is Mojokerto City and Regency. The main instrument that used in this research to collect data is questionnaire through structured interview technique by using 5 point Likert scale. Moreover, primary data that collected through questionnaire is also accompanied by interview with officers of Industry and Commerce Department. Secondary data is collected from Industry and Commerce Department. The result of this research shows : Internal and external factor influence small work performance in Mojokerto City and Regency. Partially, five variables that is capital resource access, management, market segment access and government regulation have positive and significant influence to financial performance; management, market segment access and critical awareness have positive and significant influence to customer performance; capability, guidance and critical awareness have positive and significant influence to internal performance; management, market segment access and critical awareness have positive and significant influence to learning and growth performance.Keywords: Internal factor; external factor; performance and prosperity

Abstract

The development of SMEs through a partnership has been a lot done but its effectiveness is widely questioned by various parties concerned. For that, the understanding and selection patterns of partnership is very important nuances dependence put forward (Siswoyo, 2006). Implementation of the concept of interdependence is to implement the cooperation. In conditioned environments, build cooperation is a suitable alternative to be applied for reasons of cohesiveness. In an environment that has been stable partnership model can improve performance because it is like a lubricant in the gear-gear actor partnerships. Basing this needs to be done to reveal the existence of corporate research partnerships with the UMK organizers, which include (1) field and type of company, (2) mechanisms for the implementation of business cooperation, (3) fields and patterns of cooperation, (4) capacity building activities, (5) capability, (6) strategy implementation, (7) Sustainability of cooperation, (8) the problems faced, and (9) needs and expectations of development cooperation. Abstract

Internally, in order to realize organizational citizenship behavior, we need strong leadership, in this case, the transformational leadership which is capable to bring changes to the university itself. This study was aimed to knowed influence of the transformational leadership, organizational justice, organizational trust and job satisfaction towards the organizational citizenship bevior of the lectures at the private universities in East Kalimantan. The Sampling technique used was multistage sampling, i.e. a step by step sampling method by taking 10% of the number of sample because it amounted to more 100. The number of sample in this research was 140. The research findings showed that: First: Ttransformational leadership had a significant influence toward organizational justice, Second: Transformational leadership had significant influence toward organizational trust, Third: Organizational justice had significant influence toward organizational trust, Fourth: transformational leadership did not have influence toward job satisfaction, Fifth: organizational justice significantly influenced job satisfaction, Sixth: Organizational trust significantly influenced on job satisfaction, Seventh: Transformational leadership significantly influenced organizational citizenship behavior Eighth: Organizational justice significantly influenced organizational citizenship behavior, Ninth: Organizational trust significantly influenced organizational citizenship behavior, Tenth: Job satisfaction significantly influenced organizational citizenship behavior.Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Organizational Justice, Organizational Trust, Job Satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The Method that used to analyze the data is Multiple Linear Regression model, specified in Least Square Dummy Variable (LSDV) method. The estimation result found that all of independent variable positive significantly influenced the food consumption. Otherwise, the negative ones significantly influenced the non-food consumption outcome. The estimation result also found that the level of consumption for many kinds of urban food was fewer than hinterland society food consumption about Rp12.046,94. However, the urban consumption more excessively than coastal area society about Rp13.238,54. While the level of consumption outcome for many kinds of non-food urban consumption larger than non-food hinterland consumption about Rp57.045,73. Also larger than non-food coastal society consumption about Rp31.760,25. The variation of independent variable capability to explain the food consumption about 92,5% and nonfood consumption outcome about 87,4%. The specification models were appropriated which the model free of multicollinierity and Heteroscedasticity classic assumption collision. The result of this research was expected to be a good suggestion to the North Aceh Government and related department to arrange the planning and implementing the development policy, especially to improve the life level of poor society, and could be a guidance for poorness decreasing in North Aceh Regency.Keywords: consumption, income, social-economy, poverty

Abstract

This research aimed to test and analyze the influence of financial variables (Return on Investment, Profit Margin, Current Ratio and Debt Ratio, Dividend, and Dividend Yield) and macroeconomic variables (Gross Domestic Product, Money Supply, Inflation, Currency, and Interest Rate) stock price altogether. This research used quantitative approach by implementing path analysis method. The research population is all companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2001–2007 out of which 52 companies were selected as samples to be observed within 7 (seven) years term resulting in as many as 364 observations. The results of this research indicate that the variables having an effect on dividend were Return on Investment and Net Profit Margin as well as interest rate. The variable having an effect on Dividend Yield were Current Ratio and Debt Equity Ratio and Gross Domestic Product. Furthermore, the variables affecting the interest rate were the Amount of Money Supply, Inflation, and American Dollar Rate to Rupiah. Next, the variables which influenced the stock price were Return on Investment, Current Ratio, Dividend, and Dividend Yield. Finally the variables which had insignificant influence were the variable of Gross Domestic Product to interest rate; the variable of Debt Equity Ratio to dividend; the variable of interest rate to stock price, and; the variable of Gross Domestic Product to stock price.Keywords: financial variables, macroeconomic variable, stock price.

Abstract

Poverty overcoming needs a strategic management because every planning and execution of related activities in a certain long term period have to be evaluated, which its result will be considered in making correction for further planning and program. Concept of empowerment is the most exact method reducing poverty and there should be full concentration of development in grassroots level. This approach focuses on the ability of improving either technical or managerial skills. Another relevant characteristic is development growth performed with a great attention on environmental resources, as well as human resources. Local potential is the basic asset to be a consideration priority of the development activities to be executed. The cause of poverty in Kutai Kartanegara Regency is the combination of structural, cultural, and natural factors altogether, added by factor of entering migration. In reducing poverty, there are some programs, such as: Financial Aid for the Poor, education subvention, healthcare subvention, County Fund Allocation, road hardening in every county, the construction of main road connecting 5 districts in Upstream Kutai, which is still on-going, and National Program of Society Empowerment using joined fund between Central and Local Government. There should be improvement in managing poverty alleviation in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, either in planning, in executing, in monitoring, or in evaluating so that the program may directly have effects on the poor.Keywords: poverty, strategic management, empowerment

Abstract

Economic growth is followed by groowing of amount poverty population, certainty invited some questions, for example: Who did actually enjoy the economic growth? Is economic growth caused by productivity growth or using production factor? Is economic growth be concentated on certain sectors while growing of some orther sector is relative slow until can’t be able to press poverty. This research aim to: explained phenomena of poverty in South Sumatra and explain the source of problem of poverty Pagar Alam City and success in doing poverty program From result of survey is known at 2007, Pagar Alam City constitute one of region in South Sumatra has smallest, Poverty depth Index, namely the third smallest after Prabumulih (0.20) and OKU (0.32), while Pagar Alam City poverty depth index: 0.34. The source pf poverty problem Pagar Alam City namely: Failure of basic right, the handling of population problem is weak and Inequality inter region.Keywords: Poverty, Population, Inequality
