Abstract

Sidoarjo regency is one of the central areas of fish production for the province of East Java. In 2014 the Sidoarjo regency produces fish production of 16 911 tonnes of the total demand of 21,190 tons. People therefore have the potential to Rp. 64.3245 billion, - to be used. However, with the opportunities that still makes people hesitant. Based on observations and interviews, people have some problems in understanding the business opportunities the business of enlarging catfish. The problems regarding the planning is there is no information about the capital, the estimated cost, the information behind the capital and feasibility analysis. In addition, the educational background of different society and do not have the financial complex science that makes people not do the planning before doing business.                    Based on the above issues then made an application investment calculations enlargement catfish farming berbabasis web by comparing various media pool that can perform calculations, measurement and analysis process using the Cost of Production (HPP), and Average Rate of Return (ARR).                    Based on the results of trials that have been done this application can display information capital planning, cost estimating, value of turnover as well as the comparison with the 3 (three) media pool. From the calculation using the average rate of return that has been done to produce a value which is to cement pond 4.03. For the pool tarp 2.3. And for ground pools 3.95.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan keberadaan sampah organik, yaitu kulit buah kapas sebagai pengenyal makanan. Pengenyal makanan yang ada saat ini, umumnya adalah buatan (kimiawi), sedangkan pengenyal alami lainnya relatif mahal. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berupa kegiatan pelatihan kepada peserta. Melalui peluang yang terlihat ada di sekitar lingkungan, diharapkan peserta dapat meneliti dan memanfaatkan sampah organik untuk dibuat usaha khususnya produk makanan bakso dengan pengenyal makanan alami. Berdasarkan hasil uji kualitatif meliputi bentuk bakso, warna dan rasa, tidak tampak perbedaan dengan bakso yang menggunakan pengenyal makanan buatan. Respon partisipan terhadap kegiatan ini positif karena terlibat langsung dalam pembuatan bakso dan merasakan sendiri hasil dan kualitasnya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini pertisipan memperoleh manfaat dan keterampilan melihat peluang usaha dengan memanfaatkan bahan di sekitar, pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan dan pengetahuan dasar tentang hitungan bisnis (keuangan) ketika memulai usaha awal, dan pengalaman dalam pembuatan bakso dengan pengenyal alami kulit buah kapas. Kata kunci— kulit buah kapas, pengenyal makanan, pelatihan, sampah organik Abstract The purpose of this activity is to take advantage of the presence of organic waste, namely cotton rind as a food thickener. Most of the existing food stretchers are artificial (chemical), while other natural stretchers are relatively expensive. This community service activity is in the form of training activities for participants. Through the opportunities that are seen around the environment, it is hoped that the participants will be able to research and use organic waste to create businesses, especially meatball food products with natural food as thickener. Based on the qualitative test results including the shape of the meatballs, color and taste, there was no difference with the meatball using artificial food thickener. The response of the participants to this activity was positive because they were directly involved in making meatballs and experienced the results and quality for themselves. As a result of this activity, participants gained benefits and skills in seeing business opportunities by utilizing local materials, knowledge of entrepreneurship and basic knowledge of business (finance) when starting an initial business, and experience in making meatballs with natural cotton rind as thickener. Keywords— boo, food plumpers, organic waste, training

Abstract

The development of SMEs through a partnership has been a lot done but its effectiveness is widely questioned by various parties concerned. For that, the understanding and selection patterns of partnership is very important nuances dependence put forward (Siswoyo, 2006). Implementation of the concept of interdependence is to implement the cooperation. In conditioned environments, build cooperation is a suitable alternative to be applied for reasons of cohesiveness. In an environment that has been stable partnership model can improve performance because it is like a lubricant in the gear-gear actor partnerships. Basing this needs to be done to reveal the existence of corporate research partnerships with the UMK organizers, which include (1) field and type of company, (2) mechanisms for the implementation of business cooperation, (3) fields and patterns of cooperation, (4) capacity building activities, (5) capability, (6) strategy implementation, (7) Sustainability of cooperation, (8) the problems faced, and (9) needs and expectations of development cooperation. Abstract

High protein feed are very necessary in the cultivation industry of Artemia salina. One of the proteins sources that can be used is silk worm pupae (Samia cynthia). The aim of this study was to determine the differences in growth of Artemia salina with the treatment of silkworm pupa juice feeding at various doses. This study uses 4 levels of treatment, namely 0.16 ml; 0.33 ml; 0.50 ml and 0.67 ml per liter with 6 replications, which are given daily for 21 days. Abiotic factors of culture media (salinity, temperature, pH, and DO) are controlled and in accordance with the needs of Artemia salina's life. Observation results on the 15th day, 17th day, and 19th day showed that there were differences in the number of Artemia salina due to the treatment of variations in the feed dose of silkworm pupae juice (Samia cynthia) with 0.67 ml feed dosage treatment having the highest average number and significantly different from other dosage treatments. Observations on the 13th day, 15th day and 21st day showed differences in the growth length of Artemia salina due to the variation of the dosage treatment of silkworm pupa juice (Samia cynthia) with 0.50 ml dose treatment having the highest average length and significantly different from other treatments. Keywords: Artemia salina, growth, feed, silkworm pupae ABSTRAK Pakan yang mengandung protein tinggi sangat diperlukan dalam budidaya Artemia salina. Salah satu sumber protein yang dapat digunakan adalah pupa ulat sutra (Samia cynthia). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pertumbuhan Artemia salina dengan perlakuan pemberian pakan jus pupa ulat sutra pada berbagai dosis. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu dosis 0,16 ml; 0,33 ml; 0,50 ml dan 0,67 ml per liter dengan 6 ulangan, yang diberikan setiap hari selama 21 hari. Faktor abiotik media kultur (salinitas, suhu, pH, dan DO) terkontrol dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan hidup Artemia salina. Hasil pengamatan hari ke-15, hari ke-17, dan hari ke-19 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan jumlah Artemia salina akibat pemberian perlakuan variasi dosis pakan jus pupa ulat sutra (Samia chyntia) dengan perlakuan dosisi pakan 0,67 ml memiliki retata jumlah tertinggi dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan dosis lainnya. Hasil pengamatan pada hari ke-13, hari ke-15 dan hari ke-21 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pertumbuhan panjang Artemia salina akibat pemberian perlakuan variasi dosis pakan jus pupa ulat sutra (Samia chyntia) dengan perlakuan dosis 0,50 ml memiliki rerata panjang tertinggi dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan yang lain. Abstract

The leaves of jamblang (Syzygium cumini L.) are known to contain active compounds including flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, triterpenoids, monoterpenens, and essensial oil. The various concentrations of jamblang leaves extract are expected to affect the mortality of 3rd instar Aedes aegypti mosquitoes larvae. The purpose of this reseacrh was to identify the active compound of jamblang leaves and determine the effective concentration of LC50 of jamblang leaves methanol extract to affect the mortality of 3rd instar A. aegypti mosquitoes larvae. This research used parts of young leaves, mixed leaves (young leaves and old leaved), and old leaves with a concentration of 0 ppm, 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 750 ppm, 1000 ppm and three replications. Observations were made for 96 hours the mortality of 3rd instar A. aegypti mosquitoes larvae. The result showed that extract concentration became higher, the mortality of 3rd instar A. aegypti mosquitoes larvae will be higher too. The higher average mortality was found in the extract of old jamblang leaves with s concentration of 1000 ppm and the result of probit analysis showed that the LC50 value which effectively killed 3rd instar A. aegypti mosquitoes larvae was the old leaves extract with a concentration of 733 ppm. ABSTRAK Daun jamblang (Syzygium cumini L.) diketahui mengandung senyawa aktif antara lain flavonoid, tanin, alkaloid, triterpenoid, monoterpen, dan minyak atsiri. Macam konsentrasi ekstrak daun jamblang diharapkan berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas nyamuk Aedes aegypti instar III. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa aktif daun jamblang dan menentukan konsentrasi efektif LC50 ekstrak metanol daun jamblang terhadap mortalitas larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti instar III.. Penelitian ini menggunakan bagian daun muda, daun campuran (daun muda dan daun tua), dan daun tua dengan konsentrasi 0 ppm, 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 750 ppm, 1000 ppm dan tiga kali ulangan. Pengamatan dilakukan selama 96 jam terhadap mortalitas larva A. aegypti instar III. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak, maka semakin tinggi pula mortalitas larva nyamuk A. aegypti instar III. Hasil rerata mortalitas tertinggi terjadi pada ekstrak daun jamblang tua dengan konsentrasi 1000 ppm dan hasil analisa probit menunjukkan nilai LC50 yang efektif membunuh larva nyamuk A. aegypti yaitu ekstrak daun tua dengan konsentrasi 733 ppm. Abstract

Animal feed can be obtained through the use of waste as a component of feed ingredients to meet nutritional needs, which is by using soybean meal in feed ingredients. The study aims to determine the effect of adding soybean meal to feed on rabbit weight gain as well as the composition of feed which is effective and efficient. The experimental research was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments namely, control (P0) in the form of Pap Milk (SP), 8% soybean meal (P1), 10% soybean meal (P2), and 12% soybean meal (P3) with four replications. Data analysis using One Way Anova with Post Hoc Duncan Test. The results showed the differences in weight gain of rabbits in the four treatments of adding soybean meal to the feed. The result of statistical analysis of rabbit weight gain at the control treatment (P0), soybean meal 8% (P1), and soybean meal 10% (P2) were not significantly different. The treatment of 12% soybean meal (P3) showed the lowest weight gain. The treatment of 10% soybean meal (P2) showed the highest weight gain of rabbits with the lowest feed conversion value. So that the treatment of 10% soybean meal (P2) is an effective and efficient feed formula to increase the weight of rabbits. Keywords: Soybean Meal, rabbit, rabbit weight gain ABSTRAK Pakan ternak didapatkan melalui pemanfaatan limbah sebagai komponen bahan pakan untuk memenuhi nutrisi yang dibutuhkan, salah satunya dengan memanfaatan bungkil kedelai sebagai bahan pakan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek penambahan bungkil kedelai pada pakan terhadap pertambahan berat kelinci serta formula pakan yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian eksperimental disusun secara Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan empat perlakuan yaitu, kontrol (P0) berupa Susu Pap (SP), bungkil kedelai 8% (P1), bungkil kedelai 10% (P2) dan bungkil kedelai 12% (P3) dengan empat ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan One Way Anova dengan Uji Lanjut Post Hoc. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pertambahan berat kelinci pada empat perlakuan penambahan bungkil kedelai pada pakan. Hasil analisis statistik pertambahan berat kelinci pada perlakuan kontrol (P0), bungkil kedelai 8% (P1), dan bungkil kedelai 10% (P2) tidak berbeda nyata. Perlakuan P3 menunjukkan pertambahan berat kelinci terendah. Perlakuan bungkil kedelai 10% (P2) menunjukkan pertambahan berat kelinci tertinggi dengan nilai konversi pakan terendah. Sehingga perlakuan bungkil kedelai 10% (P2) merupakan formula pakan yang efektif dan efisien untuk menaikkan berat kelinci. Kata kunci: Bungkil kedelai, kelinci, pertambahan berat kelinci

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the innovation of integrating the values ​​of Islamic Values in learning environmental themes in the Biology Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Higher Education. It is library research with qualitative data based on the secondary data. The source triangulation technique was employed to check the data validity. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis using VOSviewer software, which are described through the results of behaviour and sentences observed by the researcher. Content analysis was employed as the analysis technique. the results showe 17 formulations of the importance and urgency of Islamic Values and 12 formulations of Islamic Values ​​and their integration in learning environmental themes. This means that Islamic Values need to be integrated into learning environmental themes in the Biology Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Higher Education along with the learning model. Among the model that can be used is integrative STAD type Cooperative Learning and Project-Based Learning

Abstract

Studies in the field of environmental education need to be continuously promoted in line with the increasing number of environmental problems. The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) was to review and compare investigations of researches on articles published by one Indonesian Scopus Indexed journal i.e., Jurnal Pendidikan IPA Indoneia (JPII) so that they are expected to have significant contributions to the topic of environmental education. This systematic literature review adopts five-step guidelines. The study standards that meet the requirements were as follows: (1). The data used were from the 2012-2021 publication year; (2) articles published in English; (3) Full paper can be accessed; (4) related to the theme of environmental education.  It can be concluded that JPII is a pro-environment education journal. JPII publishes 26 articles related to the theme of environment education. The most frequently used keywords were environmental education and students. JPII's important contribution in the theme of environmental education is to provide a real example of the implementation of SETS and to emphasize that the success of implementing environmental education depends on the models, methods, techniques, and tools that are continuously developed by experts.
