Abstract

Abstract: Learning of Islamic Education (PAI), as a lesson containing of Islamic teachings and foundations of Islamic life, needs to be pursued through developing models for its teaching that can affect the choices, decisions, and development of the learners life. Developing PAI model includes: a) dichotomous model; causing dualism in the education system, namely non-religious and religious education. b) mechanism model; viewing life consists of various aspects, and education is seen as an investment and development of a set of values of life, each moves and runs according to its function. c) organism model; viewing the educational activityies as a system consisting of live together and work together in an integrated manner towards a specific goal for establishment of a religious life or inspired life by religious values.

Abstract

Abstract: Multiculturalism is a concept that puts the community as a fundamental reality of cultural pluralism in public life. Although this terminology was first discoursed in America and Western Europe around the 1960s, but this term is not new for Muslims. This paper presents the study on multicultural education focusing on PAI Textbook in Senior High School. Conceptually, subjects relating to multicultural education are adequate, especially on the material relating to aqidah, history and the Holy Qor’an.

Abstract

Abstract: ”Learning is most effective when it’s fun”: Learning to be effective if a person in a state of happy, argued Peter Kline as an education expert. Based on these opinions, particularly religious Islamic education for children will be effective when formatted in a fun atmosphere. Applications make fun of religious education can be done through: (a) availability of educators who are intelligent, skilled and able to act as a facilitator of fun, (2) education manage­ment and leadership support; (3) build a pleasant atmosphere at all educational components; (4 ) speed and accuracy of educational institutions adapt to various changes in its surroundings, (5) to optimize use of resources available; (6) the implementation of learning with a variety of methods, (7) identify and optimize the intelligence of different children (multiple intelligences ), (8) encourage every self-learners enjoy learning (learning as a neces­sity and a hobby), (9) develop learning programs with the lag time; (10) to appreciate the capabilities and achievements of students; (11) maintain the motivation and enthusiasm of learners in learning; (12) learning programs are directly associated with real life; (13) pull through cooperation with various relevant parties, and (14) to improve quality in a sustainable manner through habituation, familiarization and education itself.

Abstract

Abstract: This article describes a map of the causes on gender in­equali­ty in the process of education and Islamic education. Authors--by quoting gender expert opinion--proposed a few models attempt­ting  to minimize gender bias through the curriculum such as contributive model, additive model, transformative model and mo­del of social action. It is also presented the learning gender based models that the practitioners of education can select the appropriate models and learning approaches to be applied contextually into the situation by considering the micro and macro conditions surround­ding them.

Abstract

Abstract: This article will examine the efforts undertaken innovation Manbaul Ulum boarding daughter Bata-Bata Pamekasan, and the role of housekeeper (nanny pesantren) in innovation in pesantren daughter. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. Techni­ques used in data collection interviews, observation and documenta­tion. While analyzing the data using an inductive approach. Con­clu­sion The research indicates that innovation efforts are made in mo­der­nizing schools daughter is using the principle of POAC (Plan­ning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) and time manage­ment. While the changes made in the education system using a selective integration model boarding school transformation.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of Islamic education is to create perfect wholly human beings (holistic). The concept of the perfect man in education starting from the values of adab (tadîb). Adab (tadîb) consists of talim (didoskeining) and tarbiyah (educating).  Teaching and educationing as spiritual and material life entities of human beings is to improve the quality of virtue. Al-Attas  is more likely use the concept of  tadîb for  Islamic education than talim or tarbi­yah because the conceptual structure of tadîb already includes the elements of knowledge (ilm), teaching (talim) and good parenting (tarbiyah). Therefore, the concept tadîb is the most appropriate term showing the education in the broad sense.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on facts of the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 at P2PNFI Region I Jayagiri and P2PNFI Region II Semarang in a few years, to find out whether the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 gives an impact in building a learning organization as the creation of the lifelong learning as well as the performance of two institutions which based on ISO. This research used the expost facto method and based on the correlation approach.  The design of development strategies on this research are: (1) conducting the be­gin­ning study; (2) creating research instruments; (3) testing instru­ments; (4) analyzing the validity and reliability instruments; (5) distributing questioners to 94 respondents at P2PNFI Regional I Jayagiri and 84 respondents at P2PNFI Regional II Semarang; (6) collecting questioners; (7) data input and processing; (8) conducting data analyzing and (9) wrapping up the conclusion. The research reveals that (1) there is a high relationship between the imple­men­tation of ISO 9001:2000 with the staf performance; (2) there is a high relationship between the learning organization with the staf perfor­mance and (3) there is a high relationship between the imple­men­tation of ISO9001:2000 and the learning organization with the perfor­mance of staf at two institutions. (4) there is an increase of the staf performance.

Abstract

Abstract: Creativity is the process of using the imagination and expertise to bear new ideas, unique and useful. Creativity can be developed through the 4 P (person, process, press and product). In the process of learning, creativity of learners can be developed through life skills education. The learning process based on developing creativity of students in life skills education can be pursued through the following activities: Firstly, introduction, including a brief description of the content skills that will be studied, explaining the relevance of the content of new skills with everyday life, as well as describing of competence that learners should be achieved. Secondly, the presentation (including: exploration, elaboration, confirmation). Thirdly, the closing activities; teachers do formative evaluation and authentic assessment of learning activities, life skills have been implemented, providing feedback for the implemented activities, and  designing follow up activities in the form of remedial learning, enrichment, and  providing structured or unstructure tasks for the learners.

Abstract

Abstract: Education has a very important role in the process of improving the quality of human resources. Improving the quality of education is an integrated process with the process of impro­ving the quality of human resources. One effort to develop the quality of education is by optimizing the function of education management involving planning (planning), organization (organi­zing), leadership (leading) and monitoring (controlling). For run­ning good management and achieving optimal results, it needs a strong principal, having a clear vision and mission and being able to translate both in policy formulations and measurable goals for creating a climate and working atmosphere to empower emplo­yees to do their best.
