Abstract

Science learning in early childhood education is a series of fun learning excitement to stimulate children to explore their environment and reflect on their observations and discoveries through science activities, it allows children to explore various objects, both living objects and lifelike objects around it. Children learn to find the symptoms of objects and the symptoms of events from these objects. Science also trains children using five of its sensing to identify different objects and symptom events.the child is trained to see, to feel, to smell, to feel and to hear. The more sensory involvement in learning, the child increasingly understands what is learned. The child acquires new knowledge of its sensing with various objects surrounding it, so that knowledge obtained will be useful as a further thought capital. natural materials center with science learning. The center of natural materials is filled with various media learning that comes from nature, such as water, sand, rocks, leaves. In the center of natural materials children have the opportunity to use natural media with various ways of playing according to the thoughts and ideas each with different results.The selected materials and tools must be safe and free from harmful toxic substances.this is also a unified approach in which children at the time are thinking and building a basic understanding of the world.The introduction of science for early childhood if done correctly will develop gradually the logical ability of the children have not been possessed.

Abstract

Learning time reduction in SMA N 1 Narmada as an earthquake effect became thebackground of flipped-classroom implementation. The research is to: 1) analyze teacher’s preparation in implementing a flipped-classroom; 2) analyze teacher’s performance in it; 3) analyze the uses of multi media in it; and 4) suggest or recommend to enhance it. The research used qualitative method by studying teacher’s lesson plan, observing the implementation, and interviewing the teacher and the headmaster. To gain the data, the researcher used instruments like the teacher’s lesson plan, the observation and interview sheets. From the investigation, the researcher concluded that: 1) the teacher was capable of preparing his teaching and learning activities, the flipped-classroom implementation was implicitly stated in his plan; 2) the teacher’s performance in the process was enhanced. He could optimize the student’s learning; 3) multi media used, video graphics dan powerpointcould be applied well; and 4) suggestion was given to the teacher to improve his teaching performance, including to learn more about the learning models. For the headmaster it was suggested to control the teachers’ performance and conduct a teacher-parent program. Meanwhile, for BPMPK it was to be a good school-partner, especially in case of innovative learning models

Abstract

This research is a preliminary research with the aim to determine the needs of the students of SMP Islam Diponegoro regarding the media that need to be developed for social studies teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is survey method. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative. Based on interviews and observations that have been conducted, it can be seen that the amount of material, the limited amount of learning resources, and the use of monotonous media are all obstacles in the social studies teaching and learning process. The results of the questionnaire given to students showed that as many as 54% of students need an electronic module as their learning media, and about 66% of the students stated that the nature condition of Indonesia is a difficult material. Therefore, the development of instructional media in the form of electronic module is needed as a tool to communicate the subject material interactively and achieve the goals of learning. The electronic module can be developed supported by theschool facilities and can be used independently by students at home. The electronic module is the right solution that can be taken, especially for the Revolutionary Era 4.0 which encourages the learning process to integrate technology to improve the quality and efficiency of education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop mathematics learning media for student in class VII of junior high school. After going through the stages of developing a valid and practical instructional media, the instructional media is used to see whether there is an influence of its use on the understanding of mathematical concepts of grade VII junior high school students. The method used in this study is a mix method between development and experimentation. The results of this study are valid and practical learning media. While the effect on understanding students' mathematical concepts is significant. Thus, the initial hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

According to the World Economic Forum report, the gap between the skills learned and the skills needed is widening. This has happened since the traditional learning styles have proven to fail to equip graduates with the skills they need to succeed in the world of work. Workers in the latest era need to have the skills to collaborate, communicate and solve problems (21st century skills). To meet the demands of 21st century skills there must be an important step of change, namely changing traditional teacher-centered learning patterns into student-centered learning patterns. One innovation learning model that is considered to be in line with the shift in learning paradigm is inquiry based  learning. Inquiry-based learning is the one involving students in finding important and meaningful solution through investigation and collaboration with others. Inquiry learning follows the following steps: (1)Planning, (2) retrieving, (3) processing, (4) creating, (5) sharing, and (6) evaluating. With these general principles, Inquiry-Based Learning guides the actions of 21st Century learners.Furthermore, through the inquiry process, students develop the Skill Set of 21st Century Learners skills, namely: 1) Learning and innovation consisting of critical thinking and problem solving, communication and collaboration of creativity and innovation; 2) Digital Literacy Skill consisting of information Literacy, Media Literacy and ICT Literacy; 3) Career and life skills consisting of flexibility and adaptability, self-initiative and direction, social and cross-cultural interaction, productivity and accountability, leadership and accountability

Abstract

This type of research was field research, which used qualitative description in order to know the quality of the instructors of tahsin and tahfiz learning system in the Pengajar Diponegoro startup organization Yogyakarta. Method used is qualitative method with interview technique and documentation. interview data collection technique was obtained through data triangulation, namely: official responses, teacher and client about quality of the instructors learning system of tahsin and tahfiz in the Pengajar Diponegoro startup. The results showed that the Pengajar Diponegoro startup organization Yogyakarta has concern about quality of the instructor learning system of tahsin and tahfiz. This has proven some result including: (1) official has prepared e-learning website including learning implementation plan and learning resource, (2) implementation of quality of learning system had made better through the official development team learning, through the planning process, (3) evaluation of quality oflearning system must be done to improve the quality of the learning process adjusted to the objectives of planning and implementation, (4) the quality standard of learning system has already fulfilled the better result, (5) from the characteristic of view, the total quality management has already fulfilled the characteristics.

Abstract

The era of digital technology in education is developing rapidly in the use of innovative media in the learning process to produce competent and competitiveness graduates. This study aims to analyze the development of interactive multimedia as a need for the learning process of graphic design printing in the Digital Technology Era. This study uses descriptive qualitative method with the data collection techniques of observations, interviews, and documentation. This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Parepare. The subjects of the study consisted of 61 students and a graphic design teacher. First, the results from the questionnaires show that the current learning process has not been able to motivate students, so it is expected the interactive multimedia can facilitate the students to understand and improve their multimedia competence. Second, based on the interview with the graphic design teacher, the teacher also expects the innovation of learning, specifically interactive multimedia, as a support for the learning process to improve the students’ multimedia competence. This study implies that the interactive multimedia needs to be developed as a support for the learning process to improve students’ multimedia competence

Abstract

This research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles and each cycleconsists four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the research were 40 grade X students of AK 1 class in SMK  Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2017/2018. The data collection techniques were observation, evaluation/ tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of the research, in conclusion, the implementation of cooperative learning two stay two stray technique can improve the grade X students’ accounting learning achievement of AK 1 class in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. It was supported by the research data showing that the improvement of students’ learning achievement were obtained from the mean score of pre-test and post-test in Cycle I that was 20.63. In Cycle II, the mean score of pre-test and post-tense were improved 18,13. Besides, there were some improvement of students’ accounting learning achievement from Cycle I to Cycle that was proven by the increase of post test score 9.0 and the number of students who passed KKM from 82.50% to 100%
