Sosial Budaya (Online ISSN 2407-1684 | Print ISSN 1979-2603), merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau sejak tahun 2007. Jurnal Sosial Budaya ini merupakan media yang memuat kajian-kajian ilmiah dalam bentuk hasil riset dalam bidang ilmu sosial/humaniora, seperti pernaskahan, pranata-sosial dan sejarah untuk membangun dan membangkitkan kembali kejayaan Tamaddun Melayu dalam kawasan regional Asia Tenggara. Jurnal Sosial Budaya diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun pada bulan Juli dan Desember yang berusaha menempatkan hasil penelitian para peneliti, akademisi, pemerhati dalam keilmuan terkait. Jurnal Sosial Budaya juga memberi perhatian bagi publikasi hasil penelitian interdisipliner berbagai pihak yang memiliki perhatian serius untuk merancang, dan merajut tatanan dunia baru Tamadun Melayu.

Abstract

Kingdom of Riau in the 19th century recognized by many historians as the center of culture and intellectual development. While at the same time, the kingdom of Riau no longer holds hegemony and succeeding in politics, economy and trade, but they have a tradition of excellence in the form of writing that many writers with works of quality that is not only in the field of literature and language alone but also in the fields of religion, history, socio-political, legal, and cultural. Although the tools for writing like paper and ink difficulty encountered in those days, and must be imported from European countries, but the author and the author's Riau while still concentrating on the activities making up the reef. For instance, Raja Ali Haji (1808-1873) is the third descendant of Raja Haji Fi Sabilillah most productive in writing activities. One of his works, entitled The Book of Knowledge of Language, Slang Dictionary Pahang Malay Johor Riau linga which was completed in 1858 is a Malay Dictionary Malay First Nature books can even be regarded as Malay Einsiklopedi containing approximately 2000 sentences basic and advanced script written as Bustanul Katibin which intends to foster Malay language became the language of the standard on its own. The manuscript of the book, now the mistress Foundation Indrasakti in Penyengat. In connection with that paper will review the history of the manuscript and are contained in the text.

Abstract

Education and moral are two words not be separated. We can say that education is speak about morality, but in the other side, the good moral must be resulted by education. Philosophy of moral can to appear with human life to choose much of methods to formulation the good morality in life. It implication developed by realizing the good methods around teacher, lectures, and students. At last, developing of values can to arising plurality of moral. The plurality can to arise behavior where in one of man, morality is good, but in othe men morality is not good. But we can say, that moral values are absolutely, it mean; the morality certainly have the permanent character. But in other men that moral values are relatively, can be grow different/inconstant. Those different, especially for human life that have religious/moslem, must be attitude with intellect or prudent by values of al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Bureaucratic culture of government will parse about how the spread of cultural values and the level of commitment to the core members of the bureaucracy of the values that exist, and how cultural change in the government bureaucracy. Reality on the ground shows that the spread of cultural values has begun to appear even less so members Bureaucracy knowing the values embodied in the organization, because government officials already there are some who are happy to be starting the task and try to be the best, understand the purpose of the bureaucracy, the opportunity communication and relationships between superiors and subordinates and others although not epektif, as well as encouragement from the organization to the employee commenced. Level of commitment of the core members of the bureaucracy to the existing values (core values) are low because employees tend to bide her work and looked risky and troublesome work, the motivation to seek only employee status and salary, even indifferent to public facilities that they use even employees only serve an easy affair and promising material. Bureaucratic culture changes that occur precisely less objective, there is no congruence between employee goals with the Bureaucracy. Opportunity to give an opinion is sometimes there, even self-identification means that poor employee or employer organizations do not understand the behavior of individuals and expertise of employees in the organization.

Abstract

Wanita bekerja bukanlah sebuah pemandangan masyarakat Riau. Pergeseran nilai budaya, tuntutan wanita untuk dapat disejajarkan dengan pria, peluang untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan yang terbuka untuk wanita, kebutuhan tenaga kerja wanita, dan berbagai sebab lainnya membuat wanita tampak hilir mudik bekerja di sektor publik (di luar rumah). juga membuat sebagian wanita mau tidak mau turut serta pendidikan yang terus naik, mendesak wanita untuk membantu suami dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga.

Abstract

Time Higher Education Supplement 2008, salah satunya menetapkan poin penilaian terhadap sebuah institusi pendidikan adalah tersedianya sarana information thegnology (IT) pada institusi pendidikan tersebut. Artinya, IT tidak dapat lagi dipisahkan dari institusi pendidikan dan IT sekaligus diakui sebagai sarana atau komponen yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Di negara-negara maju, pendidikan sudah tidak dapat dipisahkan dari sarana IT. Malahan, IT telah menjadi sebuah style pendidikan. Institusi-institusi pendidikan, berlomba-lomba membangun sarana IT sebagai wujud untuk mempermudah penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

Berkaitan dengan semangat (kewirausahaan) seringkali muncul ketika kita membuat perbandingan, misalnya di antara sukunon- pribumi. Suku Minang dan Suku Bugis dikenal sebagai suku-suku pedagang. Dari profesi yang mereka tekuni inilah orang melihat bahwa kedua suku ini mempunyai jiwa . Kedua suku ini dikenal sebagai perantau di berbagai daerah, sehingga peranan mereka dalam kegiatan ekonomi kerap kali dianggap istimewa dan menonjol (M. dikenal sebagai suku yang kurang mempunyai jiwa atau bahkan diberi stereotip sebagai ”pemalas” sebut saja Suku Melayu (Yusmar Yusuf, dalam menilai jiwa antara pribumi dan non-pribumi.

Abstract

Strategy is one of important thing in teaching a language, moreover in teaching Arabic. The suitable strategy in teaching Arabic is based on the material and the condition of the students. Enjoyable or not the process of teaching and learning Arabic would determine the result expected of the teaching itself. If the beginning of the process of teaching and learning has already implemented active and joyful strategy, the students will be interested in the process of learning Arabic. Arabic active learning is focusing on creating various conditions in which it enables the students to utilize their time to study. The teacher in the concept of active learning will no longer as the main source who transfers knowledge to the students. Active learners place the teacher as a facilitator who creates conducive class to make the process of teaching and learning be better. In learning a language, the first skill that the students have is listening (istimak). The ability in listening means that the students are able to comprehend Arabic utterances correctly and well. After mastering this skill, there is a process again called takallum (speaking). Speaking ability in general is about two sides; the speaker and the listener.

Abstract

Poem is a poem in Malay literature of the most widely known. In the past rhymes are used to supplement the daily conversation. Even now the majority of Malays in the rural communities still use it. The word connotes a poem, like, like, for instance, or the like. For example, we often hear the words "Sepantun spiders, concocted in his own body". Sepantun word in the sentence above composition containing the same meaning as that disclosed in front of all. One characteristic that marks the poem is the first two lines are called sampiran or pembayang and two second array, called the content. Rhyme is used extensively by the Malays from all walks of life and on many occasions. Rhyme is very close to Malay life. Rhyme is considered as a form of art is born of instinct Malay culture itself. Even the last verse of usage life up to now in Malay. Even the rhymes are often made the song's lyrics, or even serve as the new expressions. Therefore, a guiding verse, the verse should serve to convey moral messages filled with the noble values of religious, cultural, and social norms of society. Through rhymes, those values are disseminated to the public, and bequeathed to his descendants.
