Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi program Pelatihan Pengolahan Hidangan Appetizer and Dessert untuk mengembangkan minat berwirausaha dan hasil belajar siswa pada Pelatihan Pengolahan Hidangan Appetizer and Dessert SMK Pratama Widhya Mandala. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Jasa Boga SMK Pratama Widhya Mandala. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket berupa instrument hasil belajar siswa dan data penunjang kualitatif yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Tehnik analisis data dengan mencari rerata hasil pre-test pos-test dan menarik kesimpulan analisis keefektivan menggunakan uji beda rata-rata dengan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelatihan minat berwirausaha dalam pengolahan hidangan Appetezer and Dessert khususnya pembuatan Macaroni Schotel dan Roti Kukus Gula Merah medapatkan perhatian sangat baik terlihat dari antusias dan semangat siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Kemampuan siswa dalam Pengolahan Hidangan Appetezer and Dessert berkembang sangat baik disertai minat berwirausaha siswa dengan rerata hasil pos-test berada pada katagori katogori sangat baik. The effectiveness of the appetizer and dessert dish processing training program for Students of SMK Pratama Widhya Mandala Abstract: This study aims to determine the implementation of the Appetizer and Dessert Dish Processing Training program to develop entrepreneurial interest and student learning outcomes of SMK Pratama Widhya Mandala. This research uses evaluation research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were students of class XI Catering Services at SMK Pratama Widhya Mandala. Data collection using the method of observation, interviews, tests. Data analysis techniques by looking for the mean results of the pre-test post-test and interesting. The results showed that training in entrepreneurial interest in the processing of Appetizer and Dessert dishes, especially the making of Macaroni Schotel and Brown Sugar Steamed Bread, received very good attention, seen from the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of students in participating in the activity. The ability of students in Appetizer and Dessert Dish Processing develops very well with students' interest in entrepreneurship with the average post-test results in the very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan outcome mapping pada proses  pemberdayaan ekonomi kreatif berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat di kampung Kais-Tapuri, Distrik Kais, Kabupaten Sorong selatan, Papua barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  participatory action research dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 perempuan usia produktif. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Perencanaan partisipatoris untuk identifikasi kebutuhan terkait ekonomi rumah tangga bersama dengan kepala kampung, aparat kampung,  perwakilan perempuan di dua kampung  (2) Penentuan mitra langsung dan stakeholder potensial, mitra langsung yang terpilih terdiri dari 20 perempuan usia produktif dari dua kampung, dan stakeholder potensial terdiri dari kepala kampung, pendeta, kepala suku, dan kader posyandu  (3) Desain program yaitu berupa rancangan terarah yang terdiri dari: visi dan misi, mitra langsung, capaian dambaan, penanda kemajuan (4) Menentukan rencana kerja berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan (5) Indikator keberhasilan pelatihan adalah adanya perubahan perilaku mitra langsung yang dapat dilihat pada penanda kemajuan yang sudah dibuat selama semester pertama Creative economy empowerment based on community local wisdom with outcome mapping approach AbstractThis research aims to determine the application of the outcome mapping approach to the process of creating economic empowerment based on local wisdom in the Kais-Tapuri village, Kais District, South Sorong Regency, West Papua. This research is participatory action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects consisted of 20 productive age women (housewives). The research data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the research were as follows: (1) Participatory planning consisted of identifying needs related to household economics together with village heads, village officials, women representatives in two villages (2) Determination of Boundary partners and potential stakeholders, selected Boundary partners consisting of 20 women productive age of two villages, and potential stakeholders consist of village heads, pastors, chiefs, and Posyandu cadres (3) Program design is an intentional design consisting of vision and mission, boundary partners, Outcome challenges, progress marker (4) Determine work plans in the form of training and assistance (5) Indicators of successful training are changes in the behaviour of boundary partners that can be seen in the marker of progress made during the first semester

Abstract

This research aims to provide solutions in flood disaster countermeasure in Medan based on community empowerment. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach and forum group discussion. Empowerment in this study consisted of aspects of knowledge and appreciation of the environment, as well as community adherence to environmental-related regulations. The results of this study are: 1) Community knowledge about the environment can be improved by socialization activities, socialization activities are the beginning to raise environmental awareness 2) Knowledge is not enough without appreciation, then community assistance activities are carried out by activating tourism, biopori, and utilization waste so that it has economic value; and 3) Enforcement of the law on the environment must be strictly enforced in order to create a deterrent effect for the community in violation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa Prototype Model Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif di Ogan Ilir. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaku-kan dengan mempedomani langkah pengembangan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap validasi ahli yang mengguna-kan 3 ahli yaitu ahli bahasa, ahli materi/isi dan ahli penyajian/media dan 7 orang masyarakat untuk. Instrumen validasi yang digunakan adalah angket. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif dengan satu variabel yaitu kualitas prototype model Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif dengan menerapkan metode montessori yang terdiri dari 2 sentra yaitu sentra literasi baca tulis dan sentra ekonomi kreatif, secara tujuan dinilai layak untuk digunakan oleh masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kegiatan baca tulis dan kegiatan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat, (2) tingkat keterpakaian model Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif dinilai sangat tinggi untuk digunakan oleh masyarakat. Prototype model of community reading park based on creative economy creative economy-based community reading park prototype model Abstract: This study aims to develop products in the form of Prototype Model Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Based on Creative Economy in Ogan Ilir. This developmental research was carried out by guiding the steps of developing the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study only reached the validation stage of experts who used 3 experts namely linguists, content/content experts and presentation/media experts. The validation instrument used was a questionnaire. This study uses descriptive data analysis with one variable, namely the quality of the prototype model of Community Reading Gardens (TBM) based on the Creative Economy. The results showed that: (1) Creative Economy-based Community Reading Garden (TBM) model by applying the Montessori method consisting of 2 centres namely literacy centres and creative economic centres, the objectives are considered feasible to be used by the community in increasing literacy activities and the creative economy activities of the community, (2) the level of usage of the Creative Economy-based Community Reading Park (TBM) model is considered very high for community use.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 mensyaratkan social distance, sehingga pembelajaran mandiri perlu dimaksimalkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan (1) bentuk pembelajaran self-study, (2) kendala, dan (3) manfaat pembelajaran self-study pada program paket A di PKBM Rantenase selama pandemic COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pengelola, tutor, dan warga belajar program paket A. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis interaktif dengan cara reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran mandiri di PKBM Rantenase dilaksanakan dengan tutor mengarahkan peserta didik melalui pesan SMS maupun Whatsapp sedangkan evaluasi diganti dengan penugasan. Kendala yang ditemui selama pembelajaran di masa pandemic yakni kendala teknis seperti akses jaringan, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana serta sumber belajar. Sedangkan kendala nonteknis yakni karakteristik warga belajar. Manfaat pembelajaran self-study memperkuat literasi fungsional terutama keterampilan literasi digital, membangkitkan semangat penggerak pemberdayaan masyarakat terutama dalam pembelajaran meski dengan segala keterbatasan. Peserta didik memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, berdasarkan potensi dan kebutuhannya. Optimization of self-study learning in the Paket A program at the community learning activity center during the pandemic Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic requires social distance, so independent learning needs to be maximized. The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the form of self-study learning, (2) constraints, and (3) the benefits of self-study learning in the package A program in PKBM Rantenase during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were managers, tutors, and learning citizens of the package A program. Data collection methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed interactively by means of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that independent learning in PKBM Rantenase was carried out with a tutor directing students via SMS or Whatsapp messages while assignments replaced evaluation. The obstacles encountered during learning during the pandemic were technical problems such as network access, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, and learning resources. Meanwhile, non-technical constraints are the characteristics of the learning community. The benefits of self-study learning strengthen functional literacy, especially digital literacy skills, arouse the spirit of community empowerment, especially in learning even with all the limitations. Learners gain meaningful learning experiences based on their potential and needs.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi dan aktivitas siswa serta hasil perkembangan bahasa inggris anak dengan menggunakan Gelpitas, karena pentingnya Bahasa Inggris untuk anak usia dini di masa emas agar dapat bersaing di dunia global ketika mereka beranjak dewasa nanti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam empat pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi anak meningkat dan aktivitas anak secara klasikal dengan kategori sangat aktif. Hasil kemampuan anak mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dengan berkembang sangat baik dan telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui Gelpitas (gerak dan lagu, model picture and picture, model Talking Stick) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam perkembangan bahasa (Bahasa Inggris) pada anak Kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak. GELPITAS model (gerak lagu, picture picture, talking stick) to improve development English early childhood AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe student motivation and activities, the results of students' English development using Gelpitas, because of the importance of English for early childhood in the golden age to be able to compete in the global world when they grow up later. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of research that is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in four meetings. The result shows that children motivation increases and the classical activities of children with a very active category. The results of children's ability to achieve classical completeness by developing very well and have met the indicators of success. It can be concluded that through Gelpitas (motion and song, picture and picture model, Talking Stick model) can improve children's ability in language development (English) in Group B Kindergarten children.

Abstract

Kabupaten Kepahiang merupakan sentra produksi sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan salah satunya buah pisang. Kualitas produksi sangat bergantung pada proses pemeliharaan dan pemupukan yang harganya sangat memberatkan dan menjadi permasalahan bagi petani. Pasca panen, batang pisang akan dibiarkan sebagai limbah padahal batang pisang berpotensi sebagai bioenergi pertanian. Berkaitan dengan permasalahan dan potensi tersebut maka dilaksanakan  kegiatan pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan motivasi kepada masyarakat Desa Tapak Gedung Kecamatan Tebat Karai Kabupaten Kepahiang Propinsi Bengkulu dalam memanfaatkan limbah pisang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui 3 strategi yaitu Sosialisasi, Pelaksanaan serta monitoring dan evaluasi program. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, Fosused Group Discussion (FGD), wawancara, praktek lapangan dan dokumentasi. Kegiatan ini disambut baik dan antusias oleh masyarakat Desa Tapak Gedung. Masyarakat merasa sangat terbantu dalam penyedian pupuk organik dalam menunjang usaha pertaniannya. Berdasarkan strategi yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan kelompok tani melalui pembuatan bioenergi pertanian dari limbah batang pisang dapat memberikan ilmu yang sangat membantu bagi masyarakat serta pembuatan pupuk organik dalam skala besar dapat dijadikan alternatife untuk peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat. AbstractKepahiang Regency is a center for the production of vegetables and fruits, one of which is bananas. The quality of production is very dependent on the maintenance and fertilization process, which is very expensive and a problem for farmers. After harvest, banana stems will be left as waste, even though banana stems have the potential as agricultural bioenergy. In connection with these problems and potential, community service activities were carried out aimed at providing knowledge and motivation to the people of Tapak Gedung Village, Tebat Karai District, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province in utilizing banana waste. This activity is carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through 3 strategies: socialization, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of the program. Data were collected through observation techniques, Focused Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, field practice and documentation. This activity was welcomed and enthusiastically by the people of Tapak Gedung Village. The community feels very helpful in providing organic fertilizers to support their agricultural business. Based on the strategy carried out, it can be concluded that the activities of empowering farmer groups through the manufacture of agrarian bioenergy from banana stem waste can provide knowledge that is very helpful for the community, and the manufacture of organic fertilizers on a large scale can be used as an alternative to improve the community's economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang mitigasi bencana tsunami melalui pemetaan jalur evakuasi dan sosialisasi kebencanaan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di pekon Negeri Ratu Tenumbang kecamatan Pesisir Selatan kabupaten Pesisir Barat, yang merupakan zona merah desa rawan tsunami berdasarkan rilis BNPB. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Community Based Research dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Focus group discussion, kajian pustaka dan penyuluhan/ sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan beberapa pihak diantaranya yaitu tim pengabdian, BPBD Kabupaten Pesisir Barat dan pemerintah pekon Negeri Ratu Tenumbang beserta masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terbagi menjadi dua tahap. Pertama, focus group discussion untuk memetakan jalur evakuasi kebencanaan dan sosialisasi untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait tanggap darurat bencana tsunami. Hasilnya, sinergi berbagai pihak telah berhasil membuat jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami. Selanjutnya, sosialisasi juga telah meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dalam mitigasi bencana tsunami dengan prosentase mencapai 96%. Community empowerment of Negeri Ratu Tenumbang village in realizing disaster response areas Abstract: This research aims to increase societies’ understanding of disaster mitigation of tsunami through mapping evacuation routes and disaster explanations. This research is implemented in Negeri Ratu Tenumbang village, sub-district of Pesisir Selatan and regency of Pesisir Barat Lampung.  This village is a high prone to index level (red zone) tsunami disasters based on BNPB. This research applied community-based research with a qualitative approach. Focussed group discussion, literature review, and socialization involved the team of the research, BNPB Pesisir Barat, the government of Negeri Ratu Tenumbang, and societies are applied in this research. This research is held in two steps. Firstly, focused group discussion (FGD) is done to map and determine the evacuation path or route, and secondly socialization to educate the societies to face the tsunami disaster. The result of the research is created of the evacuation route of the tsunami disaster and societies’ understanding in disaster mitigation of tsunami.

Abstract

Salah satu sentra produksi nanas di Jawa Timur adalah di Dusun Puhrejo, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri. Nanas yang dihasilkan dijual dalam bentuk buah segar dan olahan, contohnya adalah sari nanas. Kualitas produk olahan sari nanas masih kurang maksimal sehingga pada kegiatan ini diberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan tentang cara pengolahan buah nanas dalam bentuk minuman berserat. Minuman berserat dibuat dari campuran buah nanas yang kaya nutrisi dan nata de coco yang mengandung serat alami. Penambahan nata de coco juga berfungsi sebagai penstabil (emulsifier) agar produk minuman yang dihasilkan memiliki mutu yang lebih baik dan daya simpan yang lebih lama. Terdapat 2 tahapan kegiatan yang diikuti oleh 25 warga Dusun Puhrejo, yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pemanfaatan dan cara pengolahan nanas yang tepat sehingga tidak mengurangi kandungan gizi di dalamnya. Minat peserta untuk mengembangkan produk olahan nanas juga meningkat karena produk yang dihasilkan dapat memberi nilai tambah buah nanas. Produk olahan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini juga dijadikan produk unggulan UMKM Dusun Puhrejo. Training on produce a healthy beverage from pineapple fruits and nata de coco AbstractOne of the pineapple production centers in East Java is in Puhrejo village, Ngancar, Kediri. The pineapple was sold in the fresh and processing fruits, like pineapple juice. But the pineapple juice has low quality so this activity gave information and training about how to process pineapple to be a healthy beverage product. A healthy beverage produced from pineapple that contains many nutritions and nata de coco that contain natural fibre. The aim of addition nata de coco is as emulsifier therefore the beverage obtained from this project has better quality and longer shelf life. The activity was attended by 25 Puhrejo village residents and used two steps, that are counselling and training. The result of the activity is an increase in the community’s knowledge about the potential of pineapple and the right processing of it so the nutrition did not decrease. The desire of the community to process pineapple into a variety of products also increased because that product can provide added value to pineapple. The healthy beverage product from this activity will be a superior product from UMKM of Puhrejo village
