Abstract

The Purpose This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Natural Science KIT to improve the basic science skills of fifth grade students in SD Aisyiyah 1 Mataram through demonstration learning methods. This type of research is a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design experiment. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SD Aisyiyah 1 Mataram in the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 28 students. The basic science process skills observed are observing, communicating, classifying, measuring, differentiating, and predicting. From the results of the study, the skills to enter are still in the low category, while the other five skills are in the medium category

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPS. Sehingga rumusan masalah yang diajukan yaitu apakah penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN No. 1 Nupabomba? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah kelas IV SDN No. 1 Nupabomba. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan  kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa diambil dari lembar observasi kegiatan guru dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa serta hasil belajar siswa yang diambil dari tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I pengamat melihat rata-rata aktivitas siswa masuk dalam kriteria penilaian cukup begitupun dengan aktivitas kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru masuk pada kriteria cukup, sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil tes peneliti menilai bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu daya serap klasikal mencapai 57% dan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 66%. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II, menunjukkan pengamat melihat rata-rata aktivitas siswa masuk dalam kriteria penilaian sangat baik dan aktivitas kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru masuk kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil tes peneliti menilai bahwa hampir semua siswa sudah meningkat hasil belajarnya hal ini dapat dilhat dari daya serap klaikal yang mencapai 77% dan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 90%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS dikelas IV SDN No. 1 Nupabomba.Kata Kunci :  Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Hasil Belajar, IPS.

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of character education in human life being able to shape one's personality, identity and character so as to have a balanced ability between thoughts and feelings, emotionality and intellect. realize the application of character education there are many ways that are done through education, literary works, etc. but in this case, the researcher was inspired to analyze the values of karaker education contained in a literary work in the form of a novel that is the Dreamer novel by Andrea Hirata and found the relevance of the character education values contained in the Dreamer novel withthe values of character education for the educational process in Cluster 4 Langke Rembong DistrictThis study aims to analyze the values of character education contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi and find the relevance of the values of character education contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi with the values of character education for the educational process in Cluster 4 DistrictLangke Rembong.This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach and content analysis methods through data collection techniques in the form of text analysis, document studies and interviews.the results of the study found twelve character education values contained in the novel The Dreamer of eighteen character education while six other character values were not found by the writer in the novel Dreamer. the twelve values of character education contained in the novel The Dreamer that is in relation to God, including religious values, in relation to oneself including the values of discipline, the value of hard work, creative values, independent values, the value of curiosity, the value of responsibilityanswer, the value of respecting achievement and in relation to others includes the value of tolerance, the value of friendship / communicative, and the value of social care. in addition to analyzing the values contained in the novel The Dreamer the researcher also conducted research in the form of interviews in Cluster 4 Langke Rembong District. The sources of interview data are the principal, grade 5 teachers and grade V. studentsbased on the analysis of the values of character education contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi, with the values of character education applied in Cluster 4, Langke Rembong District. shows relevance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of power point learning media on motivation and cognitive learning outcomes in science learning for fourth grade students of SDN 39 Frequently of Soppeng Regency. This type of research is quantitative research that is quasi-experimental design using post-test control group design consisting of experimental class using power point learning media and control class as a class using conventional learning, which is carried out by holding a pretest and posttest in which each The sample is taught with the same material in each sample. The subjects in this study were all class IV which consisted of class IV.a totaling 15 students as an experimental class and class IV.b totaling 15 students as a control class with a total of 30 students. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using anacova. The results of the analysis showed the average obtained in the pretest motivation of the experimental class learning amounted to 101.2 and the average pretest in the control class was 100.6, and after the treatment was given the results of motivation the experimental class posttest was 105.7 while the posttest results for the control class were 102.8. While the results of the analysis showed the average obtained on the pretest learning outcomes of the experimental class students was 54.33 and the average learning outcomes of the control class pretest students were 51.66. And after being given the treatment of the students' learning outcomes the experimental class posttest was 88 while the control class's posttest result was 78.66. The results of the anakova test of motivation and student learning results obtained p-level values smaller than ɑ 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of power point learning media on motivation and science learning outcomes.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observations carried out by researchers at SD Kranjingan 05 Jember, it shows that the learning process of reading is still done individually. Weaknesses in individual learning, can be overcome by using a type of cooperative learning model. Improving the process and reading comprehension results are the main objectives of this research. The process of reading comprehension includes aspects of planning and implementation. While reading comprehension results, refer to the evaluation of learning. The method used in this study is the classroom action research method. The target in this research is fifth grade elementary school students. Kranjingan 05 Jember, which is divided into 15 couples. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results of the study using the type of TPS cooperative learning model showed that students' reading comprehension skills improved with the acquisition of test scores obtained by students in each group in the first cycle 69.6% and the second cycle 80.8%. This shows that in the second cycle the test score increased and had reached the target of the KKM of 75%.

Abstract

The success of achieving learning objectives depends on how the learning process takes place effectively. For this reason, in improving the quality of learning the right strategy is needed and one of them is by utilizing video learning as a medium of learning in the classroom. This study aims to see how the use of announcing learning videos in improving student learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative in the form of analysis of data collection using a questionnaire as a measurement tool. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The assessment rubric is used as a performance assessment test to see learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the increase in student learning outcomes after using announcing learning videos is 84% of students answering correctly and only 16% of students answering incorrectly. Thus, announcing learning videos are effectively used in the learning process.

Abstract

he problem in this study is the low learning outcomes, especially in reading comprehension skills seen from the number of students who have not yet completed, so that the learning outcomes of VA class students 31.81% or about 7 students achieve mastery learning grades then class VB 40% or about 8 students achieve mastery learning values based on the KKM that has been determined is 67. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer tutoring methods on the reading comprehension ability of grade V students of SD Inpres Nipa-Nipa Makassar. This type of research is experimental research. The technique of collecting data is done by using a test technique. Data collection tool in the form of multiple choice questions that have previously been tested which are analyzed with validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques in the form of quantitative. The results showed that the average value of the control class posttest was 70.67 while the average value of the experimental class was 76.55. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test shows the value of sig (2-tailed) 0.003, (0.003 <0.05) so that H0 is rejected. From these calculations it can be obtained that the peer tutoring learning model can affect student learning outcomes by 3% while the remaining 97% is influenced by variables or other factors not examined by researchers.Keywords: Peer Tutor Reading Comprehension Method.

Abstract

To be able to learn something well, we need to listen, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. It's not just that, students need to "do it", that is, describe things in their own way, show examples, try to practice skills and do assignments that demand the knowledge they have gained.This research uses action research as much as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and refissions. The target of this research is the students of class VB MIN 1 Palu City. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities.From the results of analysts it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (64.00%), cycle II (76.00%), cycle III (88.00%).The conclusion of this study is that problem-based contextual learning can positively influence the learning motivation of VB MIN 1 Palu students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning science.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in geometry material through the guided discovery method in class IV B SD Inpres 1 Lolu Palu. This type of research uses classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted at SD Inpres 1 Lolu Palu, 2019/2020 school year and the subjects in this study were students in class IV B Inpres 1 Lolu Palu, totaling 28 students consisting of 14 male students and 14 female students. The research instruments used were tests, teacher and student observation sheets. This study uses two types of data, namely quantitative data and qualitative data. Minimum completeness criteria (KKM) in Classical Learning Completion (KBK) mathematics subjects in SD Inpres 1 Lolu is 70%. The data obtained in this study include student learning outcomes taken from the provision of SD Inpres 1 Lolu test results in each cycle I and II, The results showed the average value in the first cycle was 74.6 then in the second cycle increased to 79, 6 Classical learning completeness in the first cycle was 67.8%, then in the second cycle increased to 75%. This shows that using the guided discovery method can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The application of an effective learning model is one of the determining factors for student learning success so it should be a concern for teachers in schools. The research conducted aims to improve the learning outcomes of Grade IV SDN 9 Sindue students in social studies learning by applying the cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT). This type of classroom action research (CAR) is the type of research that will be used in the process of solving problems using 21 research subjects consisting of 11 male students and 10 female students. Data were collected in the form of qualitative and quantitative data by observation and learning outcome tests. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II, the individual's absorption in cycle I was 61.42% with a classical percentage of mastery learning 52.38% and in the second cycle there was a significant increase in the absorption capacity of individuals increasing to 87.26 % with the percentage of mastery learning classical 95.23%. These results can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the type of team games tournament (TGT) can improve the learning outcomes of students in grade IV SDN 9 Sindue in social studies learning.
