The aim of the research is to describe how the learning intensity of students to the completeness of mathematics learning outcomes. The research used qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data was taken by Google form, from 22nd to 23rd June 2020. The samples used the purposive sampling technique by selected eight participants students in SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu city. The technique analysis data are used to reduce, display data, and verification. This research found that there is an influence of the learning intensity toward the mathematical outcomes. The average of learning in the school is 5 hours/week, the average of learning at home is 3 hours/week, the average of learning in a group is 2 hours/week, and the average of learning additional is 1.5 hours/week. Therefore, the average of all of the learning is 1.58 hours/week. The students’ outcomes have fulfilled the criteria minimum of the learning completeness (KKM). It was proved by students’ score in their report that has more than 78.Keywords: KKM; the completeness of learning; the intensity of learning DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v8i2.pp325-335

The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the RealQu, which is a mobile learning media that contains real number system material that will support online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive analysis. The research subjects were 20 students who had taken the real analysis. The data collection technique was carried out by analyzing student answers and conducting interviews with the interview guidelines. The results showed that students were more assisted and facilitated by the RealQu learning media which contained the real number system theorems. This is indicated by an increase in the value and results of the analysis by the stages of solving the questions which also increased after the use of RealQu. During the interview, students also stated that Realqu helped them remember all the theorems and how they were used in problem-solving. The purpose of this study is to determine an increasement in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning using the Self-Assessment method in class XI MIPA 2 students, totaling 36 students in Linear Program material at SMA Negeri I Banyumas. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of four steps in the cycle, namely Planning, Action, Observing, and Reflecting. Data collection and analysis techniques were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The test result obtained in the first cycle obtained a class average of 67.05 and a percentage of completeness of 50%. From the Self-Assessment sheet, it is known that students' difficulties are determining the area of completion and modeling the problem into a linear program, so it is necessary to do cycle II to improve student learning outcomes. From the test results in cycle II, it was found that the class average increased to 75.56. Students' learning completeness increased from previously only 50% of students who completed to 70%. The findings of student difficulties written on the Self-Assessment sheet are still dominated by modeling the problem and its objective function. The conclusion from this research is that the implementation of the Self-Assessment method shows an increase in student learning outcomes. Keywords: classroom action research; learning outcomes; self-assessment DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v8i2.pp273-288 Alternative Link - PDF

To reduce the spread of Covid-19 which is increasingly spreading, the government is conducting a Study From Home program or learning from home which is carried out online by the Ministry of Education and Culture's circular letter Number 4 of 2020 on March 24, 2020, which contains about the Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency in Spread Covid-19. The purpose of this study is to collect and allocate impacts arising from the spread of Covid-19 on online learning, especially in mathematics in MAN 1 Lampung Selatan. The method used is descriptive qualitative by selecting subjects as many as 28 students using the Quota Sampling technique. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and interviews. Based on the calculation of indicator achievement, it was found that 68% of MAN 1 Lampung Selatan students felt the impact of Covid-19 on online mathematics learning, 67% of school services on online learning, while the constraints in online mathematics learning were 61% with an average calculation of indicator achievement of 65 %. This shows that the spread of Covid-19 has an impact and causes difficulties in the online mathematics learning process.Keyword: impact of covid-19; mathematics; online learning DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v8i2.pp250-260 Alternative Link - PDF

In our daily lives, Social Arithmetic can be applied easily, but in reality, in the school environment, there are still many students at the junior high school level who are not familiar with Arithmetics. This research wants to determine and analyze the level of difficulty of junior high school students in solving non-routine problems, especially in social arithmetic material In terms of gender. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This study aims to describe the analysis of student difficulties in arithmetic material on Social Arithmetic without any prior treatment. This research was conducted at one of the junior high schools in Soreang. The subjects of this study the sample in this study was taken randomly, were 8 junior high school students, 4 female students, and 4 male students. Based on the research result, the average score for male students and female students have almost the same ability ie 56 and 53. The average score for arithmetics Material of both male and female students was under the KKM value of 70, which means that both male and female students have not been able to understand and work on social arithmetic story problems properly. Keywords: arithmetic material; gender; student difficulties DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v8i2.pp289-298 Alternative Link - PDF

The purpose of this study is to produce a mathematics handout with PMRI approach to facilitate students mathematical reasoning on valid and practical matrix material. The research type used in this research and development is the ADDIE model. The stages in the ADDIE model are: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments used were interview sheets, and validation questionnaires (media experts and material experts), practicality questionnaires (student responses). Data analysis used is to calculate the valid and practical scale of the resulting development product. Qualitative data analysis was obtained from the comments or suggestions given by media experts and material experts. Based on the validation results by 2 material experts, it was obtained a percentage of 83% was categorized as valid, and 2 media experts obtained a percentage of 76% in the valid category. The trial was conducted at Muhammadiyah High School 1 Way Jepara with a total of 6 students to see the practicality of the handout developed. The practicality results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 79.33% and categorized as practical. Based on the predetermined criteria, the mathematics handout that has been developed meets the valid and practical category. Keywords: handouts; indonesian realistic mathematics education (PMRI); mathematical reasoning DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v8i2.pp365-378 Alternative Link - PDF
