Abstract

This research was aimed to know the influence of brochure learning material towards students learning result and students learning activities. The design of this research was pretest and protest with non-equivalent. The subjects of this research were students inthe class X2 dan X3 of SMAN 1 Sukadana, chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data were the learning result that were analyzed by using T-Test and U-Test. The qualitative data were the observation sheet of learning activities and student reaction that were analyzed descriptively. Students achievement in experiment class was significantly different by average N-Gain 65,79. The indicator of C1 and C2 questions showed the significantly result. The average of student learning activities in the aspect of askingquestions (25.78 %), giving opinions (39.84%), communication (85.94%), cooperating (90.63%), and the answering questions (75.78%). Thus, brochure learning material could increase students learning result and students learning activities on the subject matter of Animalia kingdom.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar brosur terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Desain yang digunakan yaitu pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X2 dan X3 SMAN 1 Sukadana yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar yang dianalisis meng-gunakan uji T dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan rata-rata N-gain 65,79. Dan data indikator soal C1 dan C2 menunjukkan hasil berbeda signifikan. Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada aspek mengajukan pertanyaan (25,78%), memberikan pendapat (39,84%), berkomunikasi (85,94%), bekerjasama (90,63%), dan men-jawab pertanyaan (75,78%). Sehingga, penggunaan bahan ajar brosur dapat me-ningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada materi pokok dunia hewan.Kata kunci : brosur, dunia hewan, hasil belajar siswa, model TPS

Abstract

The problems in the learning process at Junior High School 13 Bandar Lampung is still dominating the teacher in the classroom. This results in low student concept mastery. cooperative learning model of STAD type to enable the students to learn so that students can increase mastery of concepts. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the use of cooperative learning model type STAD significantly affect students mastery of concepts in the subject matter of the respiratory system in humans. (2) the average students mastery concepts using cooperative learning model STAD type of subject matter in the human respiratory system is higher.  (3) students learning activities using cooperative learning model STAD type of subject matter in the human respiratory system is higher. The sample in this study was VIIIC and VIIIE graders who were randomly selected by cluster random sampling technique. The results showed an average N-gain of the experiment class is 50.74 higher than the control class is 32.05. Test t1 to N-gains obtained on the tcount(-5.224) ttable(2.000) so that H0 is rejected. That is an average of N-gain in the experimental class significantly different from the average N-gain the control class. Then t2 test results show that tcount(19.343) ttable(2.042) so that H0 is rejected. That is an average of N-gain in the experimental class higher than the average N-gain the control class, so that students mastery of concepts can be expressed on the subject matter of the respiratory system in humans using cooperative learning model of STAD type is higher than the model of learning directly. Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the use of the video media towards students activity and students learning result. The research design was non equivalent pretest – posttest. The research sample were students in VII F and VII H class that was selected by cluster random sampling. Data of the research were qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data was gotten by students learning activity and questionnaire that was analyzed descriptively. The quantitative data were the average score of test, that was analyzed by t-test and U-test. The result showed that the activity of the student was increased, it were students teamwork (78.33), observation result presentation/group (79.99), and asking question (66.66). The students learning outcomes was also improved, with N-gain average score was 56.14. It means, that the use of the video media was impact with the increase of students activity and students learning result of the material characteristics of living things.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media video terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII F dan VII H yang dipilih secara cluster random  sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari aktivitas belajar siswa dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, yaitu bekerjasama dengan teman (78,33), mempresentasikan hasil diskusi (79,99) dan mengajukan pertanyaan (66,66). Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain 56,14. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media video berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup. Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media video

Abstract

This study described the result of science learning implementation assessment, that is based on 2013 curriculum. Samples of study was teacher who teaches 4thgrade that chosen by purposive sampling. Data has gotten from learning activity observation list that was compares with proccessing standard, sciencetific approach, and tematic integration. The result showed that implementation of 4th grade learning activity had suitability with proccessing standard the average was 68,03% at medium category. suitablewith the sciencetific approach average was 71,5% at high category and tematic integration, average was 68,75% athigh category. Therefore science learning implementation based on 2013 curriculumin Enggal district was medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kurikulum 2013. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar kelas IV yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dibandingkan dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik dan tematik integratif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas IV memilikikesesuaian dengan standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 68,03% berkategori sedang,sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 71,5% berkategori tinggi dan telah sesuai dengan pembelajaran tematik integratifdengan persentase skor rata-rata 68,75% berkategori tinggi. Dari semua data yang didapatkan maka dapat disimpulkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SD kecamatan Enggal berkategori Sedang.Kata kunci : kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, standar proses,tematik integratif

Abstract

The aim of this study was to know the influence of Example Non Example learning model to the student’s ability to think rationally. This research was an experimental study with pretest-posttest non equivalent group design. The sample of this research were class VIIa and VIIb selected by using cluster random sampling. The research data consisted of quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data obtained from the average value of test were analyzed by using t-test or U test. The qualitative data obtained from the observation sheet of learning activities and student feedback questionnaires were analyzed descriptively. The results demonstrate that the ability to think rationally students has increased by an average of N-gain was 73.15. Student learning activities also increased by an average was 83.08. Thus , the use of Example Non Example learning model was influenced significantly in improving the students’s ability to think rationally and learning activities in the pollution and environmental damage subject matter. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Example Non Example terhadap kemampuan berfikir rasional siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan desain pretes-postes non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIa dan VIIb yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian terdiri dari data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t atau uji U. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berfikir rasional siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata Ngain 73,15. Aktivitas belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 83,08. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model pembelajaran Example Non Example berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir rasional dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi pokok pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar siswa, example non example, kemampuan berfikir rasional, pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan

Abstract

The purpose of  this study was determine the effect of the guided discovery  learning method in improving the activities and material mastery of students. The study design was a pretest-postest non equivalent group. The samples were VIIC  and VIID  classes selected by purposive sampling. This research data were qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data was the observation sheet of learning activities were analyzed descriptive. Quantitative data was the average test scores were analyzed using t-test and U test. The results showed that the learning activity students has increased, the present their views (84,72), ask questions (75,00),  and respond questions (77,78) . Mastery of students also was increasing, with the average value of  N-gain of 43,96. So, the guided discovery method was given influence of significan in increasing the activity and material mastery of students in the characteristics of  living creatures subject matter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran guided discovery dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa. Desain penelitian adalah  pretes-postes kelompok non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIC dan VIIID  yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan , yaitu mengajukan pendapat (84,72), mengajukan pertanyaan  (75,00), dan menjawab pertanyaan (77,78). Penguasaan materi siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar  43,96. Dengan demikian,  pembelajaran menggunakan  metode guided discovery berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa pada materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup. Kata kunci :  aktivitas belajar, ciri-ciri makhluk hidup, metode guided discovery, penguasaan materi.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of Student Work Sheet based on Guided Inquiry of Science Process Skill. Study design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. Samples were VIIG dan VIIH, chosen by Purposive  Sampling. Quantitative data which obtained from the average value of test were analyzed by t-test and U-test.  The qualitative data was students Science Process Skill from the observation sheet and questionnaire responses that analyzed descriptively. The results showed  that the use of Student Work Sheet based on Guided Inquiry can improve students Science Process Skill. It shown by the experimental class value of  N-gain 0,75 was higher then control class N-gain 0,57, its different significantly. Observation result of Science Process Skill has high criteria (81%), and most of the students gave positive respond to Student Work Sheet based on Guided Inquiry. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Inkiri Terbimbing terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS). Desain penelitian pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIIG dan VIIH, dipilih secara Purposive  Sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa data KPS yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan LKS Inkuiri Terbimbing dapat meningkatkan KPS siswa, terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 0.75 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,57. Hasil rata-rata persentase observasi KPS memiliki kriteria tinggi (81%) dan sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan LKS Inkuiri Terbimbing. Kata kunci : fotosintesis, keterampilan proses sains, LKS inkuiri terbimbing

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the environment around the school with the use of discovery methods in improving science process skills and student learning activities in the subject matter ecosystem. This research data were quantitative and qualitative form. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of the pretest, post test, and N-gain in ecosystem material was analyzed by t-test. Qualitative data obtained from the percentage average of students' learning activities which analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the use of the school environment through discovery methods can improve students' science process skills with the average value of N-gain of 69.38. It was also increase also in all aspects of KPS students. Student’s learning activities also increased by an average of 79.5%. It could be concluded that learning to use the environment around the school with the discovery learning method effect in improving science process skills and activities of students.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan lingkungan sekitar sekolah dengan metode discovery dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi pokok ekosistem. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata pretest, postest, dan N-gain pada materi ekosistem kemudian dianalisis dengan uji–t. Data kualitatif berupa rata-rata persentase aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lingkungan sekitar sekolah melalui metode discovery mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 69,38. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada semua aspek KPS siswa.  Aktivitas belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan 79,5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan lingkungan sekitar sekolah dengan metode pembelajaran discovery berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, keterampilan proses sains,lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar, metode discovery

Abstract

The results of observation with X grades’ biology teacher of Persada Senior High School Bandar Lampung, there’s note that in the learning process students receive most information from teacher (teacher centered), so the effect forward to student learning activity and material mastery are still not optimal yet. One of the efforts to maximize it are using TGT models learning and  Flash Card media. The study aimed at inflence of TGT models with Flash Card media towards learning students’ activity and material mastery. This study uses design pretest-posttest not equivalent model with X3as experiments’ class (27 students) and X1 as controls’ class (30 students) was elected in cluster random sampling technique. The data of this study was obtained from the pretest and posttest, observation sheet and questionnaire of students respon about this study. Data analyzed using a t-test on the SPSS17 program.The results showed that average percentage of students learning activities in all aspect that observed in experiment class (77,62 %) was higher than control class (62,78 %), with an average N-Gain of material mastery on 65,89 % in experimental and control class on 38,65 %. In addition, 27 students was pleased to learn the matter of virus by using TGT models and Flash Card media. Thus, the used of TGT models and Flash Cards have influation toward students learning activities and material mastery of Virus as significantly.Keywords: TGT, Flash Card, material mastery, student learning activity, Virus.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the contribution of the expert team’s members in a Jigsaw cooperative learning to the student learning results. The design was descriptive correlational by purposive sampling so the students of class XI IP were choosen as the sample. The quantitative data are the pretest and postest scores and the qualitative data comprise the description of the correlation between the contribution of the expert team’s members and the home team’s learning results. The assessment results showed that all experts in this research gained modest contribution scores, most of the home team’s members (68,96%) and the expert team’s members (51,73%) gained moderate learning results. Moreover, there was relatively weak correlation between the expert team’s members’contribution and the home team’s learning results and there was moderate correlation between the expert team’s members’contribution and their own individual learning results.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konstribusi anggota tim ahli dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan purposive sampling sehingga siswa kelas XI IP dipilih sebagai sampel. Data kuantitatif berupa nilai pretes dan postes dan data kualitatif berupa deskripsi hubungan konstribusi anggota tim ahli dengan hasil belajar tim asal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh ahli dalam penelitian ini memiliki nilai konstribusi yang tergolong sedang, sebagian besar anggota tim asal (68,96%) dan anggota tim ahli (51,73%) memperoleh hasil belajar yang tergolong sedang. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan antara konstribusi anggota tim ahli dengan hasil belajar tim asal yang tergolong rendah dan terdapat hubungan antara konstribusi anggota tim ahli dengan hasil belajarnya sendiri yang tergolong sedang. Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, kontribusi anggota tim ahli
