Abstract

This study applied Four Steps Teaching Material Development to develop an integrated science teaching material theme space object movement and found out the effect of its implementation to enhance scienctific literacy. This study used R n D methode, while nonequivalent pretest and postest control group design used in the implementation then. The sampling of this study was eight grader at one of junior high school in Bandung. The result revealed that integrated science teaching material developed get into good categorize by percentage amount 70%. The implementation of integrated science teaching material developed increasing scientific literacy significantly compared to science teaching material from another source. Increasing science literacy the experimental group was higher than the control group with a value range of 17%. Futhermore integrated science teaching material is suitable to use during learning process. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengembangan bahan ajar IPA Terpadu terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dan menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Pretest and Postest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII salah satu sekolah di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 70%. Implementasi bahan ajar IPA Terpadu dapat meningkatkan literasi sains siswa lebih baik dibandingkan dengan bahan ajar dari sumber lain. Peningkatan kemampuan literasi pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol dengan rentang nilai sebesar 17%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pendamping dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, IPA Terpadu, four steps teaching material development, literasi sains

Abstract

This study was aim to know the implementation of outdoor learning at high school level in terms of type of school. This research was a survey research with qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted in three types of high schools, namely public schools, adiwiyata schools and integrated Islamic schools based on boarding school. Type of School includes; SMA A as public school, SMA B as adiwiyata school and SMA C as an integrated Islamic school based on boarding school. The sample was obtained by purposive sampling technique consisting of X class biology teacher, class XI and class XII in each school. The research instrument uses an observation note sheet and an interview guide. Analysis of observation and interview data using descriptive qualitative analysis. Documentation data is analyzed using learning tools such as Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKS) used by teachers. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The three types of SMA have been implementing outdoor learning (2) Each type of school has the potential to be the object of outdoor learning (3) There are obstacles in the allocation of time in SMA A, the lack of inventory of biology outdoor learning tools in SMA B and no obstacles in SMA C to date (4) SMA B is the most potential school in implementing learning of biology based on outdoor learning.Keywords: Outdoor learning, High schooll, Type of school

Abstract

This study aims to increase learning motivation through guided inquiry learning models in class IV SDN Warugunung II Surabaya with ecosystem material on waste management in line with local wisdom.This type of research is quantitative descriptive with experimental methods and the One-Shot Case Study design. The independent variable in this study is the guided inquiry learning model while the dependent variable is learning motivation. The subjects of this study were 29 students in grade IV SDN Warugunung II Surabaya. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaire. The results of the research model of guided inquiry learning with ecosystem material on waste management are in line with local wisdom towards the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN Warugunung 2 Surabaya through the interests, readiness, and attention aspects of 4,29, 4,02, 4,11 with categories well so that the inquiry learning model can increase student learning motivation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas IV SDN Warugunung II Surabaya dengan materi ekosistem pada pengelolaan sampah selaras kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah motivasi belajar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Warugunung II Surabaya sebanyak 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket. Hasil dari penelitian model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan materi ekosistem pada pengelolaan sampah selaras kearifan lokal terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN Warugunung 2 Surabaya melalui aspek minat, kesiapan, dan perhatian yaitu 4,29, 4,02, 4,11 dengan kategori baik sehingga model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran inkuiri, motivasi belajar siswa, mata pelajaran IPA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of practicum and generic science skills with the learning outcomes of class VII students in SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in science learning material on environmental pollution. The design used was descriptive correlational. Sample in this study were students of class VII C who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data in this study were quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between practicum implementation and student learning outcomes with a score of 0.745, then there was a positive and significant relationship between generic science skills of students with a score of 0.791 and there was a positive and significant relationship between practicum implementation and generic science skills with student learning outcomes with a score of 0.874. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pelaksanaan praktikum dan keterampilan generik sains dengan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung pada pembelajaran IPA materi pencemaran lingkungan. Desain yang digunakan deskriptif korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII C yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pelaksanaan praktikum dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan skor 0,745, kemudian terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan generik sains peserta didik dengan skor 0,791 serta terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pelaksanaan praktikum dan keterampilan generik sains dengan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan skor 0,874. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, keterampilan generik sains, pelaksanaan praktikum

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the communication skills of science and creative thinking of students in the matter of environmental pollution. The design used was pretest-posttest non equivalent control group. The research samples were the students of VII.I as the experimental class and VII.B as the control class that were selected through cluster random sampling. Data on science communication skills were obtained through observation sheets, and analyzed descriptively. Data on creative thinking skills were obtained through test questions, and analyzed by t test. The results showed that science communication skills were good (84) and creative thinking ability was higher and significantly different compared to the control class. So that it can be concluded that PjBL affects the communication skills of science and creative thinking of students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi sains dan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Desain pada penelitian ini yaitu pretest-posttest non equivalent control group. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, kelas VII.I sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII.B sebagai kelas kontrol. Data kemampuan komunikasi sains diperoleh melalui lembar observasi, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh melalui tes, dan dianalisis dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi sains berkriteria baik (84), serta kemampuan berpikir kreatif lebih tinggi dan berbeda signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa PjBL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi sains dan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Kata kunci: berpikir kreatif, komunikasi sains, project based learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Adiwiyata program on environmental literacy and environmental care attitudes. The research design used was post facto design. The sampling technique is random sampling. The sample used was 58 students taken from 20% of the total student population in SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Research data obtained from test questions and questionnaires, then analyzed using the independent sample t-test. The results showed an environmental literacy value of 72.0. The results of students' environmental care attitudes about aspects of trust, perception and knowledge of the environment amounted to 73.0. The results of students' environmental care attitudes aspects of individual feelings towards the object of attitudes concerning emotional problems with the environment by 70.0. The results of students' environmental care attitudes aspects of the tendency to act or behave towards the environment of 81.0. Hypothesis test results indicate that there is an influence of the Adiwiyata program on environmental literacy as evidenced by the Sig0,000 ≤ 0.05 value.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap literasi lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain expost facto. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Sampel yang di gunakan berjumlah 58 siswa yang diambil dari 20% jumlah populasi siswa/i di SMA Negeri 2 Bandar lampung. Data penelitian diperoleh dari soal tes dan kuisioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sampel t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai literasi lingkungan sebesar 72,0. Hasil sikap peduli lingkungan siswa aspek kepercayaan, persepsi dan pengetahuan tentang lingkungan sebesar 73,0. Hasil sikap peduli lingkungan siswa aspek kecenderungan untuk bertindak atau berprilaku terhadap lingkungan sebesar 81,0. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap literasi lingkungan dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig0,000 0,05.Kata kunci: Adiwiyata, literasi lingkungan, sikap peduli lingkunganhttp://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v8.i1.01

Abstract

This study aims to find out the most appropriate processing variations in reducing levels of lead metal (Pb), find out the most appropriate processing variation to maintain the calcium (Ca) content of mussel shell, and provide information about the potential of processed mussel shells as animal feed. This study used a completely randomized design method (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely, processing steamed shells (BW0), boiled (CW0), sauteed (DW0) and fresh shells as a control (AW0). Based on the results of the analysis, the treatment that reduces lead content the most is processing of boiled shells (CW0) of 815,488 ppm. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the boiled processing method is the treatment that removes the highest levels of lead metal (Pb) and the steamed processing method is the most appropriate method of processing calcium content in the shell. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi pengolahan yang paling tepat dalam menurunkan kadar logam berat timbal (Pb), mengetahui variasi pengolahan yang paling tepat mempertahankan kandungan kalsium (Ca) cangkang kijing, dan memberikan informasi tentang potensi olahan cangkang kijing sebagai pakan ternak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu, pengolahan cangkang dikukus (BW0), direbus (CW0), ditumis (DW0) dan cangkang segar sebagai kontrol (AW0). Berdasarkan hasil analisis, maka perlakuan pengolahan yang menurunkan kandungan timbal paling banyak adalah pengolahan cangkang dengan cara direbus (CW0) sebesar 815,488 ppm. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, metode pengolahan direbus adalah pengolahan yang paling banyak menghilangkan kadar logam berat timbal (Pb) dan metode pengolahan dikukus merupakan metode pengolahan yang paling tepat dalam mempertahankan kandungan kalsium pada cangkang.Kata kunci: analisis cangkang, kalsium, kijing kokal, pakan ternak, timbal, variasi pengolahan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the initial investigation data obtained as a basis for the development of biotechnology modules containing research results that will be developed later. The development model used in this study is the Plomp model which has been carried out until the initial investigation data stage. The results revealed in the analysis of the curriculum and the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) there were ten topics in biotechnology learning. The results of interviews conducted with lecturers in biotechnology courses also revealed obstacles in the implementation of biotechnology lectures, one of which was the lack of student references to study biotechnology. Student problem questionnaire revealed that students do not yet have a biotechnology module with a percentage of 1.08%. Student needs questionnaire revealed that students strongly agree the need to develop biotechnology modules containing research results with a percentage of 100%. The conclusion of this study is the need to develop biotechnology modules containing research results for biology students to help the lecture process in the classroom. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan data investigasi awal yang didapatkan sebagai dasar pengembangan modul bioteknologi bermuatan hasil riset yang akan dikembangkan nantinya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Plomp yang telah dilakukan sampai tahap data investigasi awal. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan pada analisis kurikulum dan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) terdapat 8 topik dalam pembelajaran bioteknologi. Hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan terhadap dosen pengampu mata kuliah biotekologi juga mengungkapkan kendala yang terdapat pada pelaksanaan perkuliahan bioteknologi yang salah satunya kurangnya referensi mahasiswa untuk mempelajari bioteknologi. Angket permasalahan mahasiswa mengungkapkan mahasiswa belum memiliki modul bioteknologi dengan presentase 1,08%. Angket kebutuhan mahasiswa mengungkapkan mahasiswa sangat setuju perlu dikembangkannya modul bioteknologi bermuatan hasil riset dengan presentase 100%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perlu dikembangkannya modul bioteknologi bermuatan hasil riset untuk mahasiswa biologi untuk membantu proses perkuliahan di kelas. Kata kunci: hasil riset, modul bioteknologi, studi pendahuluan

Abstract

This study discusses the learing and cognitive learning outcomes of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung by using a jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted with tic tac toe games. The research sample was taken from participants with purposive sampling technique obtained by 38 students who were received from 2 classes. Students activities were analyzed descriptively, while the prettest-posttest and n-Gain values were analyzed by Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted with the tic tac toe game on the material of the human digestive system, involved and average students activity of 75,6 with good and significant participants on learning outcomes of 0,025.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung dengan menggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantu game tic tac toe. Sampel penelitian diambil dari populasi dengan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 38 peserta didik yang berasal dari 2 kelas. Aktivitas peserta didik dianalisis secara deskriptif, sedangkan nilai pretest-posttest dan n-Gain dianalisis dengan Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantu game tic tac toe pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia, berpengaruh terhadap presentase rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik yaitu 75,6 dengan kriteria baik dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif yaitu 0,025.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, sistem pencernaan manusia, jigsaw, game tic tac toe

Abstract

This study reveals the relationship and reliability of metacognitive and psychomotor skills towards students' attitudes towards Human Physiology material. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed a fairly strong relationship (p = 0,000) between metacognitive and psychomotor skills towards attitudes toward biological material, with a regression equation Y = 8.983 + 0.352X1 + 0.581X2. The simultaneous effective contribution of metacognitive and psychomotor skills to attitudes toward material is 36.7%. It was concluded that there was a strong relationship between metacognitive and psychomotor skills on student attitudes. The contribution of effective metacognitive skills (15.6%) is smaller than the effective contribution of psychomotor (21.1%) to attitudes toward material.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hubungan dan keterandalan keterampilan metakognitif dan psikomotorik terhadap sikap mahasiswa kepada materi Fisiologi Manusia. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan multiple regression analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup kuat (p= 0, 000) antara keterampilan metakognitif dan psikomotorik terhadap sikap kepada materi biologi, dengan persamaan regresi Y = 8.983 + 0.352X1 + 0.581X2. Kontribusi efektif simultan keterampilan metakognitif dan psikomotorik terhadap sikap kepada materi adalah sebesar 36, 7 %. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara keterampilan metakognitif dan psikomotorik terhadap sikap mahasiswa. Kontribusi efektif keterampilan metakognitif (15.6%) lebih kecil dibandingkan kontribusi efektif psikomotorik (21.1%) terhadap sikap kepada materi.Kata Kunci: keterampilan metakognitif, psikomotorik, project based learning, sikap
