Abstract

This writing explains one of the government of Dinasti Bani Umayyah AI-Walid lbnu Abdul Malik who was successful in building his country until got progress in politics, economy, science and civilization. Those progresses were achieving advancement because his ability to accommodate all social levels of multi etnics who lived in his territorial government, covering three continents, Asia, Africa and Europe. Beside that, there was a political wisdom in favor to social need. This can be a lesson that when the government has politic commitment that focused on at least to issues so the building in some sectors can be achieved and social welfare can be a reality.

Abstract

This writing discusses controversial hadits and the way of understanding the hadis, using various methods and interpretation technique. Although a hadis is recognized controversial, it doesn't mean that it cannot be solved. Some ulamas of hadis have discussed and put forward some alternative arguments to come to final conclusion. Some methods such as; ei-Jem'u, al-Tarjih, al­ Nasikh, wa al-Mansukh dan al-Tauqif, as well as textual, contextual interpretation, linguistic or historical approach can be regarded as ways to understand the essentian meaning of the controversial had is.

Abstract

Patience is the ability of someone to endure from difficulty of life and to control emotion for the sake ofreaching a target. People are often confronted by collision or condition that bring them into insulation,dissapointment and stress. So that patience can become control of someone personally and socially. Patience does 'not mean surrender bacause it sometime brings someone into fatalism. Patience is a word that covers a whole set of moral values that's most important. In fact, patience is a key for someone to reach success. Qur'an also· suggests human- being to be patient in facing any aspects of life's temptation.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba melihat proses pembelajaran bahasa lnggris di dalam ruangan kelas dengan menggunakan alih kode, (code switching) atau campur code (Code mixing). Kedua istilah ini merupakan gelajah bahasa yang terjadi dalam process berinteraksi dalam ruangan kelas. Code switching dan code mixing mempunyai peranan sangat strategis dalam berkomunikasi. Fungsi utamanya untuk memperjelas makna sebuah istilah,atau untuk mengulangi informasi yang kurang jelas atau agar supaya komunikasi tetap berlanjut. Ada dua alsan mendasar kenapa guru/dosen melakukan alih kode atau campur kode. Pertama, karena mereka tidak mampu mengekspresikan dalam bahasa target, akhirnya beralih kode. Kedua, karena mereka ingin menunjukkan variasi bahasa yang mereka miliki, dengan kata lain, karena mereka bilingualism atau multilingualism.

Abstract

In Islamic perspective children must be guided by parents to reach their good progress. Thus, the of parents cannot be ignored in the framework of educating, guiding and directing the potency of children. In this case, parents are required to know more about character of children, emotion and mentality. One of parents' duty in their home is introducing gender concept to children. Gender discourse about the right and responsibility of children in any aspect should be socialized .

Abstract

 الملخصهذا البحث يتحدث عن حسن الجوار وأثره في بناء المجتمع ويتكون من  ثلاث قضايا؛ الأولى: كيف حدود الجار من حيث التعريف؟ والثانية: كيف موقف القرآن والحديث النبوي تجاه الجار؟ والثالثة: كيف أثر حسن الجوار في بناء المجتمع؟ نوع البحث المستخدم هو البحث الوصفي بعدة مناهج؛ وهي اللاهوتية-المعيارية، والإنسانية-الإجتماعية، وطريقة جمع البيانات تكون من الطريقة المكتبية. ونتيجة البحث تجيب عن هذه القضايا وهي أن مفهوم الجوار لا يقتصر على الملاصقة والتلازم، ولكن يطلق أيضا على العهد والأمان بين دول متجاورة من اثنتين فأكثر، بل اسم الجار عام يشمل المسلم والكافر، والعابد والفاسق، والصديق والعدو، والقريب والأجنبي، والأقرب جارًا والأبعد. وأن موقف القرآن والحديث النبوي واضح في مراعاة حقوق الجار والإحسان إليه وعدم إساءته وهو من خصال الإيمان. وأن الجيران له دور هام في بناء المجتمع، لأن حسن الجوار دعوة إلى التآلف والمودة والمحبة بين الناس ونبذ للخلاف والتنافر والشقاق، فيخلق المجتمع الفاضل الذي أمر به الإسلام وأراده للمسلمين مجتمعًا متحابًا ومتراحمًا.

Abstract

Globalization and the communications revolution have allowed vastly increased flows of ideas and people across the Islamic world, generating new social forms including transnational Islamic movements. Indonesia, as the country with the largest Muslim majority, has attracted Islamic activists from other parts of the world. What is little known is that some of the most active transnational Islamic movements in Indonesia in recent years originate from Turkey. This paper introduces an ethnographic study of one of the lesser known of the major Turkish transnational piety renewal movements that have recently reached Indonesia: the Süleymancıs, the Nurchu, and the Gulen. This case study shows how the Turkish Muslim Diaspora has played significant role in developing a quite unique Islamic education institution with transnational support. The movements have shown a new niche in the saturated Indonesian Islam with a distinct opportunity space.

Abstract

ملخص البحث يتحدث هذا البحث عن قاعدة التصوير الفني في القرآن الكريم حيث قام رائدها الشهيد سيد قطب بتطبيقها الواضحة في تفسيره الأدبي "في ظلال القرآن". ونقطة الانطلاق لهذا البحث تضع على المشكلة التي يعانيها معظم المسلمين اليوم في فهم الآيات القرآنية، خاصة في تعبيراتها المجازية. فلذلك، يعتبر الباحث بجديّة أن هذا البحث ضروري ومناسب لحل المشكلة وقضية التأويلات المنحرفة عن الصحّة والدقّة. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز المنهج الدقيق الموحي الذي سيرشد القارئين إلى فهم تعريف التصوير الفني مفصّلًا، وخصائصه البارزة الفائقة مع الأمثلة من الآيات القرآنية. وفي هذا البحث، قد استخدم الباحث المنهج التحليلي الوصفي للوصول إلى معلومات جلية ناصعة ونتائج موثوقة بها. وأهم النتائج التي توصّل إليها البحث إن التصوير الفني قاعدة مفضلة وطريقة دقيقة مؤثرة للتفاعل مع الآيات القرآنية المعجزة بصفة عامة، وتعبيراتها المجازية العميقة بصفة خاصة، وكان سيد قطب قد صوّر لونًا فنّيًا جديدًا في الدراسة القرآنية والأدبية.  الكلمات المفتاحية: التصوير، الفن، الخصائص البارزة، التعبيرات المجازية. (ARTISTIC IMAGERY IN THE HOLY QURAN BY SAYYID QUTUB: THE CONCEPT AND THE EMINENT CHARACTERISTICS) ABSTRACT This research talks about the theory of Artistic Imagery (AI) in the Holy Quran, where the martyr Sayyid Qutub as its pioneer developed and showed it into his literary exegesis “In the Shadow of Quran”. This research is based on the Muslim’s problem today in understanding of Quranic verses, especially in interpreting the metaphorical expressions. Therefore, the researcher considers seriously that this study is necessary and suitable for the salvation of the problem and arbitrary interpretation issue. This research aims to disclose the accurate and inspirational method which it conducts the readers to understand the detailed meaning of AI, and its eminent characteristics with the example of Quranic verses. The researcher uses the descriptive analytical approach in this research to arrive to the clear information and reliable results. Some important conclusions note that the AI is a preferred principle and exact approach and impressive to interact with the miracle of the Quranic verses generally and with the deep metaphorical expressions particularly, and it indicates that Sayyid Qutub has gave a new artistic color of Quranic studies and literary. Keywords: Imagery; Artistic; the Eminent Characteristics, the Metaphorical Expressions.

Abstract

This research entitled The Qur'anic Perspective on Disaster Semiotics. It uses interpretive approach with the method of tafsīr maudū'ī" and comprehensive semantic analysis. The object of this research is The Qur'an verses concerning with disasters. The results indicate that the disaster semiotics in the Qur'an, include the following terms: al-balā', al-musībah, al-fitnah, and al-‘azāb. From these words, several facts are obtained: (1) disaster as a test is a necessity of life for mukallaf humans, which is carried out by God himself without the involvement tried in determining the way, time, and form of the disaster; (2) a disaster, which is a necessity of life including spaciousness and life suffering, whose levels are in accordance with the level of one's faith, the higher experience disasters more severe than others; (3) the disaster in the form of God's gift or favor cannot be used as evidence of divine affection as suffering does not always mean His wrath; (4) disasters come, in addition to natural factors, also because of human sins. If that also happens, humans must respond to the disaster as education and divine enlightenment, as a blessing to believers, and a warning to sinners and punishment for those who are unjust and overreach.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses about the part of research on the implementation of the multicultural education of Islamic boarding schools in East Luwu Regency, namely the meaning of multicultural principles. There are three main principles in the concept of multiculturalism, they are; the principle of openness, moderation, and unity in difference. The principle of openness is understood by the boarding school as an opening door for anyone in various activities. The principle of moderation is a principle that brings together differences that occur in society. And the principle of unity in difference is the principle of establishing multicultural relationships. Keywords: multicultural principles, Boarding school, and East Luwu Regency AbstrakKajian ini membahas tentang bagian dari penelitian implementasi  multikultural pada pesantren di Kabupaten Luwu Timur, yaitu pemaknaan prinsip-prinsip multikultural. Ada tiga prinsip utama dalam konsep multikulturalisme, yaitu prinsip keterbukaan, moderasi, dan bersatu dalam perbedaan. Perinsip ketebukaan dipahami pihak pesantren sebagai pintu membuka diri kepada siapa saja dalam berbagai aktivitas. Perinsip moderasi merupakan prinsip yang mempertemukan perbedaan yang terjadi di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Dan prinsip bersatu dalam perbedaan adalah prinsip untuk menjalin silaturahmi multikultural.Keywords: Prinsip-prinsip multikultural, pesantren, dan Kabupaten Luwu Timur
