Abstract

The lack of digital-based teaching materials and local potential on macroscopic fungi material that is considered difficult to understand by students can be developed into e-booklet teaching materials. This study aims to describe the suitability, feasibility, readability and effectiveness of e-booklets on types of fungi on the banks of the Mawangi village river. This study uses the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) and is limited to the limited disseminate stage. The suitability and feasibility test was carried out by 3 experts, the readability test by 9 students, and the effectiveness test by 17 students. The results of the suitability test obtained an average score of 4.22 (very suitable), the feasibility test obtained an average score of 4.33 (very feasible), the readability test of students obtained an average of 4.71 (very good) and the results of the effectiveness test of students obtained an average score of 0.61 (moderate). Based on these results, it shows that this e-booklet is suitable for use as additional teaching materials on the material on the biodiversity of the mushroom sub-concept.Kata kunci: 4D, desa Mawangi, e-booklet, jamur makroskopis

Abstract

The lack of local potential-based teaching resources makes it challenging for students to grasp the Bryophyta subject, necessitating the development of e-booklet materials. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of moss on the banks of the Mawangi Village river and describe the approriateness, feasibility, readability, and effectiveness of the developed e-booklet. The e-booklet was developed adopting the 4D model technique (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), however, is was only developed to the limited distribution stage in this study. Two Biology Education FKIP ULM lecturers and a Biology teacher from SMAN 1 Kandangan participated in the suitability and feasibility tests. Nine students participated in the readability test, while seventeen students participated in the effectiveness test. According to the study’s results, 8 types of Bryophyta were found on the banks of the Mawangi Village River, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, including Ectropothecium sp., Fissidens sp., Calymperes sp., Octoblepharum sp., Thuidium sp., Bryum sp., Riccia sp., and Anthoceros sp. The e-booklet had an average approriateness test score of 4.19 (approriate), a feasibility test score of 4.36 (very feasible), a readibility test score of 4.53 (very good), and effectiveness test N-gain score of 0.72 (high). As a result, the e-booklet Types of Bryophyta on the Riverbanks of Mawangi Village is considered suitable for use as additional biology teaching material for high school students in grade X. Kata Kunci:Bahan ajar, bryophyta, e-booklet, pengembangan model 4D, tepian sungai Desa Mawangi

Abstract

The creation of a flipbook instructional tool for the kelas XI ekskresi system topic is initiated due to minimal reading enthusiasm among students and the predominant use of traditional teaching aids like printed book formats and worksheets by instructors at mas muhammadiyah nangahure, thus inspiring a flipbook-based innovation to cultivate an enjoyable and non-repetitive learning atmosphere. This research endeavors to produce flipbook-based learning media for the ekskresi system subject at mas muhammadiyah nangahure. The study utilizes a Research and Development (R&D) approach, following the Borg and Gall model's five procedures: a preliminary investigation, research planning, design formulation, a constrained field uji, and revisions from the limited trial's feedback. The validation assessments of the flipbook learning media product for the ekskresi system material were rated "very suitable" by the content expert validator with a score of 80% and by the media expert validator with a score of 81%. The outcomes from the flipbook product's trial feedback concerning the ekskresi System Material developed are declared "high" by students with the percentage of student response by 95,24%.Kata kunci: Learning Media, Flipbook, and Excretion System.

Abstract

Collaboration is a crucial learning skill that enables students to solve problems collectively and gain practical experience relevant to everyday life. Based on observations, researchers found that many students prefer to work independently and have an average of 58% in the low category. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct classroom action research (CAR) based on lesson study. This study aims to improve students' collaboration skills through the implementation of the ASICC learning model based on lesson study. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Data on students' collaboration skills were summarized as percentages in each cycle and meeting, and then compared to assess the increase in collaboration from the pre-cycle to cycle 1 and cycle 2. The study's results revealed an increase from 74.8% in cycle 1 to 85.1% in cycle 2. Thus, the implementation of the ASICC learning model is effective in improving student collaboration scores at SMAN 2 Kediri. Kata kunci: pembelajaran, ASICC, kolaborasi

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyse the media used by teachers during the pursuit of high school biology lessons in Klaten Regency in the implementation of the 2013 Revised Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum; (2) analyse the background of the use of these media during the learning process in the implementation of the 2013 Revised Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum; (3) and analyse the differences in the media used between the implementation of the 2013 Revised Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation and the analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show: (1) the types of media used by biology teachers in the implementation of the two curriculum consist of four types of media, namely visual, realia, audio-visual, and interactive multimedia; (2) the reasons for biology teachers in Klaten Regency to use the main media are their practicality and ease of making and implementing them, both in the implementation of the 2013 Revised Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum; (3) there is no significant difference in the use of media by high school biology teachers in Klaten Regency between the implementation of the 2013 Revised Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, guru biologi, kurikulum 2013 revisi, kurikulum merdeka

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of student learning outcomes applied with the expository method and the demonstration method in biology learning at SMA N 2 Langsa. This study is an experimental study with a pretest posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of classes X E and X G with a total of 60 students. The results showed that there was a comparison of student learning outcomes between the expository method and the demonstration method. The average posttest score of the demonstration class was 82.5 (high) and the expository class was 75.9 (high) so that the difference between the two classes was 6.6. While the average pretest score of the demonstration class was 45.1 (low) and the expository class was 41.7 (low) so that the difference between the two classes was 3.4 with a hypothesis test value of t count > t table or 3.121 > 2.001. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means there is a comparison of student learning outcomes between the expository method and the demonstration method in biology learning at SMAN 2 Langsa. A significant comparison in the posttest results shows that the demonstration method is better than the expository method.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, metode demonstrasi, metode ekspositori
