Abstract

This research was the Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted caused the students lack in learning process actively. Therefore, the researcher applied Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method and Time Token that considered the eagerness as the motivation for the students in order that they be able to follow the learning process actively. It is expected to have an impact of  learning achievment obviously. This classroom action research has an objective to increase eagerness and students learning achievement of X1 class of Senior High School 1 of Trimurjo. From this research can be inferred that there were an increasing the eager to study of the students. It  perceived to the activity of the students in pre-research towards the activity after doing research based on the increasing of evaluation product. The researcher recommend using Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method And Time Token be able to apply in learning process in order to increase the eagerness and students learning achievement considered the time within the arranging of lesson plan.Kata kunci: artikulasi, time token, minat, hasil belajar

Abstract

Phytotechnology plays as integral strategy for planning and environment sanitation process. Phytoprocess on phytotechnology makes possible the realization of healthy environment mission, because plant have ability to recycle material, as natural so as environment resources conservation technology, which essential in continuously development. Green school have commitment with systematic develop programs for internalyzing environment value to school activity. Abstract

The aims of the study was to apply the environment based learning model in an effort to improve students science process skills. The research was conducted by the classroom action research on class X2 SMAN 2 Metro academic year 2011/2012 indicated that students science process skills still have not shown good results. Because the achievement still under 50% with the percentage of students who reach the KKM (≥ 70%). The curriculum is currently implemented of KTSP where the teachers are required to be able to manage with the student centered learning. One model of learning which are student centered learning is environment based learning model. The results show that the science process skills increase from 50.00% to 79.45% increase of 29.45%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the study uses a model-based learning environment can improve the skills sains process. Kata kunci:  Pembelajaran Berbasis Lingkungan, Keterampilan Proses Sains

Abstract

Abstract: Butterflies are insects that have a very important role in the ecosystem is as a helper in the pollination in plants. In addition butterfly can also be used as a bio-indicator to changes in environmental quality since butterflies are very sensitive to changes in the ecosystem. The existence of butterflies are under threat at this time step and extinction, this is due to the many forests are converted into other land. Diminishing forests and lands turned into settlement and agriculture. Butterfly existence will depend habitat. Butterfly habitat with the amount of food available is quite the diversity of butterflies is high.The aim of research to determine the diversity of butterflies in Batanghari River Plate in Metro City, the research method used is survey method with purporsive sampling. Butterfly collection done by sweeping follows the line transect technique is applied randomly along the 1000 m. After completion of the identification process we then held classification process. Species diversity index (H) is calculated using the Shannon-Wiener formula. Results of the study found as many as 23 species of butterflies of 5 familia, with the most dominant species is Eurema alitha as much as 136. The diversity of butterflies in the Batanghari River Plate in City Metro categorized bit or lower because it has the value H1 <1.

Abstract

in general, method of inquiry guide can increasing the capability of metakognitive and result of students. metacognition is thinking about thinking. Metacognition goes beyond thinking (meta+cognition) in that it is the active awareness and knowledge of one’s own thinking processes. Metacognitive skill are sometimes refered to as “self direction skills. Metacognitive could be different between the high and low student. This result showe in research to class ten of three grade student of senior high school in PGRI Punggur. The result showed so that using inquiry guide-metacognitive to the aspect of self-planning with activity formulate problem and formulate guess while with score applying 66,78, aspect self-monitoring with activity collect information and testing guess while with score applying 61,10, and aspect self evaluating with activity conclude and summary with score applying 71,37. Kata kunci: Guide Inquiry, kemampuan Metakognisi, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) to the attitude and student cognitive achievement in SMAN 2 Malang. This research applied quasy experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The populations of this research is all student of class X SMAN 2 Malang on academic year 2008/2009. The samples of this research were class X7 as experimental (PjBL) and class X8 as control (conventional). The instrument of this research namely cognitive achievement test and attitude scale questionnaire to river ecosystem. This research data are quantitative data consisted by score cognitive achievement and attitude scale questionnaire to river ecosystem, collected on 14 Maret until 31 May 2009. Data were analysed by bilinear covariant statistical analysis (Ancova), continued with LSD test. The result of this research indicated that there were PjBL toward the cognitive achievement and student attitude to river ecosystem. Students with PjBl having attitude higher 11,65% from conventional students. Beside, students with PjBl having cognitive achievement higher 81,05% from conventional students. Based on this research, the researcher suggest to the teacher that this strategy can be implemented in biology learning. Kata kunci: Project Based Learning, sikap terhadap ekosistem sungai, hasil belajar

Abstract

This study aims to get a dose of the best concentrations of liquid waste in order to produce rapid mycelial growth and production of white oyster mushrooms with optimal fresh weight. In this study using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) One Direction with four treatments, each treatment be repeated six times. The treatments tested were (A) the concentration of liquid waste 25%/L water/ treatment, (B) the concentration of liquid waste 30%/L water/treatment (C) concentration of liquid waste 35%/L water/treatment and (D) control. The results showed that the concentration of industrial wastewater know 25%/L water/highest treatment effect on the growth and production of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) with a mean weight of 129.33 gr fresh row A; B 105.5 gr; C 76.17 gr; and D 90.83 gr. The results could be used as a source of learning biology at the high school level with the subject matter of the class X Waste and Recycling Waste. In addition, this study also can be a reference for researchers and the general public. Kata Kunci: limbah cair, jamur, produksi, biologi.

Abstract

River is one of fresh water ecosystem which is very important in human life since it is the most practical and economical source in fulfilling domestic and industrial needs. Therefore, it should meet the quality standards. The research objectives were: 1) knowing the quality of waterway in Raman River, Pujodadi, Trimurjo, based on the physical, chemical and biological aspects; 2) turning the information intoa Biology learning source on Ecosystem subject. The data were directly observed in the river by measuring the physical factors (temperature, stream, turbidity); chemical factors (pH, DO); and biological factor (macro invertebrates). The results were: temperature 24-29oC ; stream 0.3 – 0.6 mm/s; turbidity 33.5-3.7 NTU; pH 4.1-5.2; and DO 2.07-2.35 ml/I. Furthermore, micro vertebrates found were; a) Plecoptra; b) Tricoptra; c) Mollusca, d) Ephemeroptra; and e) Hemiptra. In each station, they were classified as insects and non-insects. The insects found were: 1) Odonata; 2) Tricoptra; 3) Ephemeroptra; 4) Plecoptra. Based on those parameters, the waterway quality was qualified as light wasted. The results can be turned into student worksheet as a Biology learning source, especially on Ecosystem subject.

Abstract

Development of Thematic Learning of Global Warming Influence for Life skills of Elementary School Student. Thematic learning is application of holistic education to see a problem from different perspectives. Global warming is a complex problem, it must be expected in holistic conduct. Thematic learning is the right choice to teaching global warming for elementary school students. The research was divided into two stages. Research development stages and experiment research stages. Development of research was aimed at developed main theme of global warming into several theme. Furthermore each theme corresponding to subject-metter. Each  subject-matter will be developed by adopted  Jerol-Kemp development. Research experiments aimed to verify influence of thematic learning toward life skills in addressing problem of global warming. Data were collected using a rubric. Test of hypothesis using anova. A number of 118 fifth grade of the students netted as a sample. The results showed highly significant thematic learning toward life skills with value r = 0.01 of error probability is smaller than standard error a = 0.05. Anova results is indicated that LSD value is 72 more than 41 in conventional learning.Kata kunci: pembelajaran tematik, kecakapan hidup, pemanasan global.
