Abstract

The purposes of the research were to know the effect of challenge based learning (CBL) model by experiments method and project, learning of inquiring and scientific attitude and their interaction towards students’  achievement in cognitive, affective and psychomotoric. Data was collected using test technique for cognitive, non test technique for affective, psikomotoric, learning motivation, learning activity, and obsevation sheet is used for affective and psychomotoric. The data were analyzed by using anova test through software PASW 18.  Based on the analysis of the data concluded: 1) there was effect of CBL model by experiments method and project toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric towards students’ achievement; 2) there was an effect of learning inquiring towards cognitive and affective students’ achievement, but there was no effect towards psychomotoric students’ achievement; 3) there was an effect of scientific attitude toward cognitive students’ achievement, but there was no effect toward affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement; 4) there was no an interaction between CBL model by experiments method and project method with learning inquiring toward cognitive, affective and psikomotoric student’ achievement; 5) there was no an interaction between CBL model by experiments method and project method with scientific attitude toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement; 6) there was no an interaction between learning inquiring with scientific attitude toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement;  7) there was no an interaction between CBL  model by experiments method and project with learning inquiring and scientific attitude toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement.

Abstract

The research of any where founded majority students have common difficulties in abstract physics concept. The result of observation, lecturers have problem  in teaching implementation of abstract concepts on physics learning. The objective of this research is to find out the ways how to overcome this problem. The research place of  physics education programs and senior high school. The data are colected by quetionere, observation and interview. The lecturer behavior to making out this case is use of analogy to make concrete a abstract concept. This action is true, because the analogies are dynamic tools that facilitate understanding, rather than representations of the correct and static explanations. Using analogies not only promoted profound understanding of abstract concept, but also helped students overcome their misconceptions. However used analogy in teaching not yet planed with seriousness, analogy used spontanously with the result that less optimal. By planing and selecting right analogy, the role of analogy can be achieved the optimal result. Therefore, it is important to maping analogies of abstract consepts on physics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1. To know potential of different citrus fruit juice varieties into electricity. 2. To know juice of citrus varieties that have the potential to be superior in electrical 3. To know piece of research that can be used as a learning resource. 4. To know learning resources that can be generated from the research. The place is a laboratory study was conducted of science, University of Muhammadiyah Metro May 25, 2014. Oranges juice were taken from five different varieties are citrus, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, and lime. There are three variations of existing experiments in the study of differences in varieties, differences in the distance between the electrodes, and the difference in volume. There are five treatments and five repetitions in this experiment. In the process the research data used ANOVA analysis of non-parametric Kruskal Wallis test. The experimental results showed that the juice that comes from different varieties have different potentials in into electricity. Lemon juice is the most superior varieties as electricity. Part of research that can be used as a learning resource that the pH value of each citrus varieties, the use of digital multitester, and the voltage generated. The results of this study can benefit as a learning resource in the form of worksheets.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness, efficiency and the magnitude of the attraction of students towards learning physics in moving class learning system. This study uses a population of eighth grade students of Junior High School State 1 Pekalongan, then the sample is used to determine the cluster random sampling. Samples are VIII2 grade 27 students who take physics learning on the subject of style. Data was collected through observations, questionnaires, documentation and interview methods. From the analysis it can be concluded that: 1) The level of effectiveness of learning physics in moving class learning system is quite good in the learning process, it show up of learning achievement level showed 46.2% were able to be achieved by all students. 2) The level of efficiency learning physics in moving class learning system can be said to have been good, because of the time in the planning and implementation of learning physics have been as expected. 3) The amount of the attraction of students towards learning physics in moving class system in either category, where there are 58% of students interested while the other 42% claimed not to be interested.

Abstract

Bahan Masonite yaitu suatu bahan jenis hardboard yang ditemukan oleh William H. Mason. Proses pembuatannya dilakukan dengan metode mason menggunakan kayu chip, mengurainya menjadi serat panjang dengan uap lalu membentuknya ke papan. Papan tersebut kemudian diletakkan dan dipanaskan untuk membentuk tampilan akhir papan. Dalam hal ini tidak digunakan lem atau materi lain yang ditambahkan. Serat lama memberikan Masonite tinggi akan kekuatan lentur, kekuatan tarik, kepadatan dan stabilitas. Masonite berbeda dengan panel kayu komposit yang diproduksi menggunakan formalin berbasis resin untuk mengikat serat, Masonite dibuat dengan bahan alami saja sehingga produknya ramah lingkungan. Sebagaimana bahan alami, Masonite akan membusuk dari waktu ke waktu. Bahan Masonite ini memiliki koefisien konduktivitas termal 1,13 x 10-4 cal.cm/cm2.sec.0C.Percobaan konduktivitas termal bahan Masonite dilakukan dengan melelehkan es di atas stim generator melalui bahan Masonite sebagai alas silinder es sehingga diperoleh massa lelehan es per waktu pemanasan. Dari hasil percobaan didapat konduktivitas termal bahan Masonite sebesar 1,14 x 10-4 cal.cm/cm2.sec.0C. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan Masonite adalah bahan isolator.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh pemanfaatan media power point dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Materi pelajaran yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah zat dan wujudnya.Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Wanasabapada semester Ganjil tahun pembelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperiman dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Wanasaba yang terdiri dari 7 kelas dan sampelnya adalah kelas VII2 dan VII3 yang diperoleh dengan cara cluster random sampling.Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah media power point dan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen didapatkan harga thitungsebesar 1,76 sedangkan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,684 pada taraf signifikansi 5%.Jadi  nilai thitung lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai ttabel (thitung>ttabel) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemanfaatan media power point dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The use of computers as a learning medium is increasing. But there is still a bit of educators who use the computer as a medium of education facilities. Based on the research of some experts note that by using animation using flash operated by a computer, student learning outcomes improved. Therefore, it is necessary to develop media-based learning physics flash animation subject and Energy Enterprises are using Macromedia Flash 8. Media are developed based on the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The program was tested by experts in the study of physics and media experts to determine the feasibility media (program) based on predetermined criteria. After the test results obtained through the medium of learning developed worthy to serve as a medium of learning and can be used in learning.

Abstract

The objectives of this research and development was carried out to design a work-sheet of the static electricity material with Quran value and contant. Preliminary data is done in Muhammadiyah junior high schools of East Lampung.  Steps of  research and development include, potential and problems analyst, gather information, design, validation, and revisions to the product. The instruments used to collect data by documentation, literature studies, questionaire and observation sheets. Aspect validity work-sheet include: didaktif, construction and  techniques. The results showed that developed work-sheet was very good category. The advantages work-sheet improve not only knowledge but olso spiritual attitude. Disadvanteges was moment classroom activity the students more interested to the Al-Qur’an words then the material physics content.

Abstract

Application of learning models POEW done to minimize the quantity of misconceptions experienced by students. The research was conducted by applying the POEW model of the experimental class and POE model of the control class. A method use quasi-experimental by design “Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design” implemented in X class one of high school at the city Cimahi in 2012/2013. Research results show that the description of misconception experienced by students in the experimental class lower than the control class. Responses of students to learn with the application of this POEW generally positive.

Abstract

This article aims to examine strategies for improving pedagogical competence through in service training that is more focused on the empowerment of teachers in accordance with the capacity and the problems faced by teachers in the classroom, to improve the quality of teacher learning through lesson study. lesson study is a model of professional development of educators through collaborative learning and continuous assessment based on collegiality and mutual learning. to build a learning community. lesson study selected and implemented in order to improve the pedagogical competence as an effective way to improve the quality of learning and teaching in class. Lesson study carried out in the form of a cycle plan-do-see. through lesson study expected to increase pedagogical competence and increase the quality of learning.
