Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the use of technology affects the learning outcomes of Class III students at St. Petrus Private Elementary School Medan. This study's participants were all third-graders at Medan's St. Petrus Private Elementary School, which had three classes with 100 students each. Class IIIC was chosen as a sample of 30 students for this study, and the method of sample collection that was used was simple random sampling. A survey-type quantitative approach is utilized in this study. to use the product moment correlation t test to test the hypothesis. According to the findings, the use of gadgets received an average score of 80.17 in the high category, while learning outcomes received an average score of 74 in the lower category. This is supported by the results of the hypothesis t test. If the value of t_count > t_table is 6.809 > 1.697, then Ha is accepted, indicating that third-grade students at St. Petrus Private Elementary School in Medan benefit significantly from the use of technology.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Dharma Wanita Pertiwi Private Elementary School, Medan Selayang District and the research was focused on fourth grade students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of media images on student learning outcomes on the theme The Beauty of Diversity in My Country, Grade IV. This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes and also student interest in learning when teaching and learning activities take place. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with analytic descriptive method. The design used in this research is the one-group pretest-posttest design. The population used was class IV, with a sample of all fourth grade students at SD Dharma Wanita Pertiwi Private Elementary School. Based on the results of the study, the correlation coefficient value of R count 0.719> R table 0.396 means that there is a strong influence between media images on student learning outcomes. From the results of the t-test conducted, it can be concluded that there is an influence between media images on student learning outcomes of SD Dharma Wanita Pertiwi Private Elementary School.

Abstract

The ability of students in reading literacy is still low, this is indicated by the decline in student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of literacy culture on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in learning Indonesian. The target of this research is the students of SDN 1 Paciran class V which is divided into two classes, totaling 28 students in class VA and 28 students in class VB. Using quantitative research methods using experimental research design, namely pre-experimental design, the research design used was control-group design.  Prestest Posttest Control Group Design using non-parametric data analysis techniques. In the experimental class, students were given treatment or treatment for reading literacy culture for 15 minutes before learning began, and for the control class they did not give any treatment. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence on student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian between the experimental class and the control class, which is seen from the difference in the average value of the experimental classwhich is higher than the control class.

Abstract

Lifelong Learning can be experienced by every learning community. Instilling the values of academic education with the aim of improving the quality of Human Resources can trigger schools to seek to optimize innovative learning. Freedom to learn cognitive education as a reference for lifelong learning programs seeks to realize inclusive and equitable quality education. It is believed that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that spur Indonesia's human development index need to be carried out at the Markus Medan Special School. This program is conducted for Markus SLB students for 1.5 months. The method used is participatory and experimental. During its implementation, students participate in building learning activities, so that data analysis is carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The collected data is processed interactively and continuously until the data is saturated. The data are also interpreted descriptively through quantitative data measures. The results show that Markus Special School students can participate in cognitive education learning. Continuously, student learning products always influence their learning motivation, especially the results of drawing and motor skills of students. The experimental results showed a significant difference before and after experiencing cognitive education learning activities. As many as 60% of students get test scores above average.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication ability of students in expressing ideas and relating the knowledge students have to real situations. This study aims to determine the contextual learning model influences students' mathematical communication ability better than the direct learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were all fourth grade students at SDN 050660 Kwala Bingai, Stabat, which consisted of three parallel classes with a total of 89 students. The sampling system used was cluster random sampling with classes IVA and IVB classes being sampled. Class IVA as the control class consisted of 30 students and class IVB as the experimental class consisted of 27 students. Data analysis was performed by two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the contextual learning model had a better effect on students' mathematical communication abilities compared to the learning model. This shows that the contextual learning model provides a good change in developing students' mathematical communication ability.

Abstract

Learning outcomes in the independent curriculum in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) Phase B (for grades III and IV SD/MI/Package A) require that the learning carried out must be able to stimulate students to think at higher levels (HOTS ). This study discusses the analysis of HOTS content contained in IV grade IPAS textbooks for students. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. Data was collected using literature study techniques, documents, and questionnaires. Then, the percentage value of the HOTS load in the book by the data was calculated. The results obtained are interpreted to see the measurable level of thinking. There are 24 topics discussed and grouped into 8 chapters. Based on the results of the analysis of material content, creating (C6) around 12%, evaluating (C5) 12%, and analyzing (C4) 76%. While the items in the student's book, out of 33 questions scattered in the book, were found to be 12% at the C6 and C5, 73% at the C4, and 3% is C2. Overall, 98% content of the book is already contain HOTS. Based on the results, it can be assumed that the book is good for stimulating students to think at higher levels.

Abstract

Interpersonal skill is the ability to interact with other people, with a direct and clear communication style to build relationships with others. This study aims to describe students' interpersonal skills through Social Studies Learning Group Discussion Class V MIN 12 Medan. The approach in this study is qualitative and research procedures that produce descriptive data. The sample here is 26 students of class V MIN 12 Medan. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed as many as 17 students were categorized as highly skilled in interpersonal skills through group discussions, as many as 7 students in the category of skilled in group discussions and as many as 2 students in the category of moderately skilled in group discussions. It can be said that through group discussions it can be seen that the interpersonal skills of V-A MIN 12 students are in the very skilled category.

Abstract

Bullying  is long-term physical and psychological violence perpetrated by a person or group against someone who is unable to defend himself. This study aims to describe Bullying  behavior that occurs in fifth grade students at SDN 101964 Jaharun A. This study looks at the types of Bullying  that have been carried out by students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through 3 ways,: observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the fifth grade students had been doing Bullying  behavior. The behavior is carried out in two types: verbal and physical. Verbally done by mocking parents' names, mocking friends' physical and friend's weaknesses. Meanwhile, physically, it is done by tripping feet, crossing hands and pushing friends.Bullying  can be overcome by cooperation school with counseling service, strengthening religious and civic learning.

Abstract

This research is research Research and Development (R&D). This study uses the Four D development model. In this study it was only carried out at the development stage. This research was conducted in class II at SD IT Hamas Stabat. The research was carried out in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year. The subjects in this study were 20 grade II students at SDIT Hamas, 11 male students and 9 female students. The object in this study is flipbook based smart card learning media. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The stages in the four D development model are define, design, develop, disseminate. The results of the validation test by experts, namely media experts, were 89.00%, while the results of the material validation test were 88.06%. The results of material validation and media validation are categorized as very feasible. The results of student learning motivation on flipbook-based smart card learning media amounted to 79.07%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a substantial Case Strategy and Venture Base E-Module item for Indonesian Dialect Abilities and Writing Appreciation Courses for Rudimentary Schools.
