Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using Role Play learning method as the main target aimed to improve students learning motivation and to know the difference of students learning motivation using Role Play learning method with those who do not use Role Play learning method on Science subjects Social on the matter of social problems in the fourth grade of Private Elementary School Xaverius Padangsidimpuan. Thus it can be concluded that the ability of students in understanding the material social problems in Social Science lessons has been motivated in learning.Keywords: Role Play Method, Learning Motivation, IPS Learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the errors of capital letter writing by PGSD students in second semester of class 3 of school year 2017/2018. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with research subject ayaitu PGSD student of Semester II Class 3 is qualitative descriptive method. The application of the method in this research takes the following steps: inventory data through questionnaire, data description, and data classification. The results of the study note that every student needs to write because writing is part of student life. In order to have no problem in writing the capital letters, it is necessary to improve the writing of capital letters in the first sentence, the first letter of direct passage, the first letter of honorary title, ancestry, and religion followed by the name of the person, the first letter of the name of the nation, the tribe and the language.Keywords: Error Analysis Capital Writing

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the feasibility of interactive learning media based on learning modelGuided Inquiry on Style material in class IV SD Negeri 101776 Sampali and (2) to know the effectiveness of using interactive media based on learning modelGuided Inquiry on the material of Style in class IV SD Negeri 101776 Sampali FY 2017/2018. This type of research is a development research using the Borg and Gall product development model combined with the Dick and Carey development model. Trial subjects consisted of 3 students for individual testing, 9 students for small group testing, and 29 students for limited field testing. Based on hypothesis test result using t test with significance level (α = 0,05) obtained titung 2,76 and ttabel 2,001. From these results, it is known that thitung ≥ t table shows there are differences in learning outcomes between students using interactive learning media based on guided inquiry model (guided inquiry) with students using guided inquiry model (guided inquiry) and textbooks.Keywords: Development Of Interactive Learning Media, IPA, Model Guided Inquiry.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of Mind Mapping Learning Model on students ability in writing in Public Speaking courses. The subjects of the study were all three semester students of English education which amounted to four classes of 60 students. This research uses questionnaires data which is distributed to 60 English Semester Three Students at UMSU. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis which include mean, median, standard error and standard deviation, and t test to know the influence of Mind Mapping Learning Model to students ability in writing in Public Speaking course. Abstract

This researc was aimed to investigate the differences between aplication of cooperative learning model and individual model using Mini Lab in biology class withs the topic reproduction system in private schools in Medan. The metodology that using in this research is experimental method with application of cooperative learning model at class XI-A SMA YPI and at class XI-A SMA AL-washliyah, then at class XI-B SMA YPI and at class XI-B SMA AL-washliyah using individual model. The data was collected with the observation sheet, and biology test. Before hypotheses test, previously noemaly test and homogenety test were done, The result show that sample was taken from homogenic and normality population. From the data analysa showed the mean of biology test with appliction of cooperative learning model is 7,61 and standart deviation is 0,34, Meanwhile the mean of biology test with aplication of individual learning model is 6,09 and standart deviation is 0,34. Then hypotheses test with t test show hitung > t table, then ho is rejected and alternatife is excepted.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Individual Learning Model, Mini Lab.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar geometri dan lembar aktivitas siswa materi bangun datar kelas V. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDS Inti Nusantara pada Semester Genap yang berjumlah 34 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D), model Van den Akker (1999) yaitu meliputi 3 aspek utama: substantif, prosedur dan teoretis - empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap materi bangun datar khususnya trapesium dan layang-layang mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil persentase siswa yang mencapai standar nilai pada  kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) bidang studi matematika pada tes awal SDS Inti Nusantara sebesar ≥ 65% sebanyak 20 siswa atau 58,82%.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Buku Ajar, Lembar Aktifitas Siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep patterns with learning achievement. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Babad 1 with the number of 31 students consisting of grade 4 and class 5. The research type used is cross sectional survey. Instruments used in the form of rating scale and document studies. Data were analyzed using descriptive study. The results of this study indicate that: students who have good sleep patterns and achievements are also good number of more that 18 students (58%) compared with students who have good sleep patterns but the learning achievement is enough that is 8 students (26%). However, some have poor sleep patterns. Students with learning achievement that is enough more number that is 4 student (13%) compared with student having good learning achievement there is only 1 student (3%). Abstract

This study aims to develop reading learning materials based on DRTA strategy (Direct Reading Thinking Activity) as an effort to build a literate generation in 5th Grade of Primary School. It is well known that the literacy study is one part of the implementation policy of the 2013 curriculum in primary school. This policy implies that the learning process implemented so far has not been able to adopt the optimal process of literacy learning. There are three main requirements to be considered in the development research conducted, such as; the validity, practicality and effectiveness of teaching materials developed. The development model used is a 4-D model, namely: define, design, development and disseminate. The results showed that the developed teaching materials declared were valid, practical and effective to use in the reading learning process of 5th grade in Primary School. Thus, the use of DRTA-based teaching materials in reading learning deserves to be considered as an effort to build literate generation in 5th Grade of Primary School.Keywords: teaching material, reading, DRTA Strategy, literate generation

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran Metode Jarimatika  dalam memahami Menghitung Perkalian siswa kelas III semester ganjil SD.Neg 106162 Medan Estate. Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi Adapun subyek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas III semester ganjil  SD.Neg 106162 Medan Estate. Sedangkan obyeknya adalah strategi Metode Jarimatika .Dari penelitian yang dilakukan dengan meneliti kondisi awal siswa yang diukur dengan alat tes tertulis dan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus, terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa dalam menguasai materi. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus 1 ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi ini nilai rata-rata hanya 60,00 sedangkan pada siklus 2 dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Metode Jarimatika meningkat mencapai nilai rata-rata 85,00. Respon siswa juga meningkat, data hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas siswa dari 62,50% pada siklus 1, meningkat pada siklus 2  menjadi 91,67%.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan, Metode, Jarimatika

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes and implementation of learning by using props. The location of the research was conducted at SDN No 14 Simbolon Purba Palipi Subdistrict Samosir District with the subject of research is the fourth grader of 20 people. Data collection techniques used are tests and observation sheets. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes using visual aids in science lesson material Framework man and its function in the fourth grade students SDN No. 14 Simbolon Purba Academic Year 2017/2018.Keywords: Learning outcomes, Props.
