Abstract

This research aims in descripting Science Process Competence (KPS) and student scientific behavior at SMP I Atap Pulau Tunda, Tirtayasa Region, Serang Regency.  This research was an introduction research  /observation to determine the study method or model  that can elevate KPS and student scientific attitude.   The research sample was students of SMP I Atap Pulau Tunda selected by purposive sampling.   Data was collected from KPS test, observation sheets of students scientific behavior during learning process,  interview sheets, and learning rank by the teacher.  This research result shows that the Science Process Competence and the scientific behavior of the students were still low.  Some of the reasons were the learning process was still ‘teacher centered’,  the teacher knowledge related to KPS and the scientific behavior  was still not adequate,  and the training experience was still not maximum.  Trainings given to teacher related to learning method and model, seminars about KPS and scientific behavior,  and facilitation given by of the headmaster and the government  are hopefully can elevate Science Process Competence and the scientific behavior at SMP I Atap Pulau Tunda.  Key Words: Science Process Competence, Scientific Behavior, and Science

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether STAD type cooperative learning is better than conventional learning models in improving student chemistry learning outcomes on the subject of atomic structure in class X SMA 1 Sibabangun. This research is an experimental research. The population in this study was all students of class X SMA 1 Sibabangun consisting of 3 classes. The research sample was selected 2 classes randomly, namely class X-1 as the experimental class using cooperative learning type STAD and class X-2 as the learning control class using conventional learning. From the data analysis for the experimental class, pre-tests (20.65 ± 6.47) and post-tests (90.8 ± 7.35) were obtained. In the control class, pre-tests (34.60 ± 8.45) and post-tests were obtained (70.55 ± 10.37). The results of testing the hypothesis by using the one-party t test at = 0.05 and dk = 62 obtained tcount>ttable or 4.425> 2.034 then Ha is accepted, Improving student learning outcomes after being given learning treatment Type STAD is better than conventional learning on the subject structure atom class X SMA Negeri 1 SibabangunKeywords: Implementation, Cooperative Type STAD, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA pokok bahasan energi dan perubahannya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Stick di kelas IV Binjai Selatan.Dari hasil temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pretes tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar sebanyak 10 siswa 28,57% dengan nilai rata-rata 56,57 pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 15 orang siswa 42,85% dengan rata-rata nilai 61,14 dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi sebanyak 30 orang siswa 85,71% dengan rata-rata nilai 75,14 sehingga baik secara individu maupun secara klasikal kemampuan awal (pre test) siswa masih tergolong belum tuntas. Pada siklus I terdapat 20 orang siswa (57,14%) yang belum tuntas dan sebanyak 15 orang siswa (42,85%) yang telah tuntas dalam belajar dengan rata-rata kelas 61,14. Pada siklus II sebanyak 30 orang siswa (85,71%) yang telah tuntas dalam belajar dan terdapat 5 orang siswa (14,29%) yang belum tuntas dalam belajar dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 75,14.Kata Kunci : Model, Talking Stick, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini merupakan suatu upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengungkapkan monolog Descriptive sederhana yang berterima (literary) bagi siswa Kelas VII-1 SMP Negeri 5 Tebing Tinggi. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dan angket siswa secara kualitatif dan secara kuantitaif diperoleh dari dokumen penilaian proses pembelajaran dan secara individu menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan sistim ICARE, dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa mengungkapkan monolog descriptive lisan sederhana yang berterima terdapat peningkatan sebagai berikut: (1) meningkatnya keterampilan siswa mengungkapkan monolog descriptive sederhana, (2) meningkatnya kemampuan siswa didalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris lisan yang beterima dengan pengucapan yang relatif tepat, pada umumnya lancar dan menggunakan struktur kalimat yang tepat.Kata Kunci: Monolog Descriptive Lisan, Sistim, ICARE

Abstract

The highlight tortor is a dance performed at King Sisingamangaraja's dedication program. This study examines the light tortor with the meaning of community life systems that believe in supernatural forces, and serve as strategies and methods in developing transfomative learning development models. Design development is done by identifying the elements of learning material through the development of interactive audio visual media, to see the transformation, both in terms of form, function and meaning, changing from sacred to profane form, but in the context of the performance cannot ignore the ritual requirements. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, documentation, and data validity. Based on the research results of the Sorangan Tortor Transformation by raising the king's ordination ceremony into the form of performance art. Sorangan tortor occurrence factors are influenced by internal and external factors. The highlight tortor is currently undergoing a transformation from the seventh ceremonial form to the performing arts. Keywords: Transformation, Tortor, King Sisingamangaraja's Inheritance

Abstract

Research carried out this is classroom action research (PTK) using the method of demonstration in science subjects. This study aims to determine the conduct of the study and improvement of student learning outcomes on the subject of Qualities of Light. Student learning outcomes in classical obtained 60.52% of students who complete and incomplete 39.48%, average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle, namely 63.94, student learning outcomes the first cycle is not maximized, and thus continued in The next cycle. The results of the study on the implementation of the second cycle result of learning on the teacher's activities a value of 78.5 with both categories, while the activity of students is 86 in both categories. The results of student learning in the classical obtained 86.84% of students who complete and incomplete 13.16%, average value of student learning outcomes in the second cycle is 76.57. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral pada lirik lagu daerah jambi Orang Kayo Hitam. Penelitian ini merupakan deskripsi kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah lagu daerah jambi Orang Kayo Hitam, sedangkan Objek penelitian ini adalah nilai moral yang terdapat dalah lirik lagu Oramg Kayo Hitam. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Peneliti sebagai human instrument mencatat nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat pada lagu Orang Kayo Hitam. Dalam analisis data digunakan metode analisis  isi dan metode pembacaan semiotic dengan memahami makna-makna tersurat  (heuristik) dan tersirat (hermeneutik) dari lirik lagu dan hasil analisis data dipaparkan menggunakan metode informal. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat beberapa nilai moral dalam lirik lagu Orang Kayo Hitam karya H. Firdaus Chatab,  yaitu tidak ditemukan bentuk nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, tiga bentuk nilai  moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan sesama, dan bentuk nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri

Abstract

This aim of this research is to improve learning result on science subject  through cooperativejigsaw method of jigsaw type. This classroom action researchconducted by 2 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students from class VIII-1 SMP Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to 37 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the use of the cooperative methodof jigsaw type inscience subjects can improve student learning result characterized by increased mastery learning students, namely the first cycle (72,97%) , cycle II (89,18 %) and complete learn the clasical equal to 89,18%.Key words: Jigsaw, cooperative, science

Abstract

The writing of this School Action Research (PTS) was carried out by researchers of 9 educators (teachers) which consisted of 2 cycles by implementing the Improvement of Teacher's Pedagogical Competence in Preparing Learning Plans through Academic Supervision Can Improve the Quality of Teaching Teachers at Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Weigh Against Bohorok, The report on the results of the calculation of the Teacher's Learning Planning Ability about the initial correlation to the first cycle of 0.738 and the t test value of 4.283, as well as the calculation of the correlation of the first cycle to the second cycle of 0.921 and the t test value of 16.156 and the results of the calculation of the Learning Planning Component about the initial correlation to the first cycle of 0.713 and the value of the t test of 2.507, the calculation of the correlation between the first cycle and the second cycle is 0.875 and the t test value is 6.466. As well as the Improvement of Teacher's Pedagogical Competence in Preparing Learning Planning through Academic Supervision Getting Student Learning Outcomes at Private Madrasah Weigh Against Bohorok, with reports on the results of the calculation of the Average value of 9 Subjects about the initial correlation to the first cycle of 0.778 and the t-test value of 5.222 and calculations. The correlation between the first cycle and the second cycle is 0.934, and the t test value is 19.293. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah. Penelitian berlokasi di kota Tebing Tinggi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Bahasa Inggris di SMP Negeri 2 tahun pelajaran 2013 – 2014.Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus, Siklus I dengan satu pertemuan dan Siklus ke II  dengan satu pertemuan. Tiap siklus mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Observasi dan pengumpulan data dapat dilakukan oleh guru sekaligus peneliti dengan dibantu oleh dua orang kolaborator. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan membuat dan menerapkan pembelajaraan kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat membantu siswa dalam pemahaman konsep pembelajaran dan mengasyikan untuk belajar bersama Kata kunci : Guru Bahasa Inggris, Pembelajaran, dan Tipe Think Pair Share ( TPS )
