Abstract

The objektives of the research were : (1) to identify and analyse the effect of regional finance accounting and internal control toward quality of financial reporting information at Regional Task Force Unit of Central Sulawesi Province, (2) to indentify and analyze the effect of regional finance accounting toward quality of financial reporting information at Regional Task Force Unit of Central Sulawesi Province, (3) to identify and analyze the effect of internal control toward quality of financial reporting information at Regional Task Force Unit of Central Sulawesi Province, (4) to identify and analyse the variables tahat dominantly affect the quality of financial reporting information at Regional Task Force Unit of Central Sulawesi Province. Based on the results of regression test, it was found adjust R Square = 0,610. The value showed the dependent variable can be explained by the implementation of regional finance accounting and internal control was 61 % while the remains 39 % influenced by other variabels which are not discussed in this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of social capital and poverty in fishing communities of boat lift nets fisherman and to aknowledge the relationship between the variables of social capital and poverty in fishing communities of boat lift nets in Labean Village. This research is categorised as descriptive quantitative. This study intends to get a description and a picture of the social capital relationships with poverty of fishing communities of boat lift nets. This study was conducted in 2015 and the data were collected by using: observation, interviews, literature and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed by several methods of analysis, namely: 1) The characteristics of social capital of fishing communities of boat lift nets in Labean Village are categorised as middle category on average. It indicates that fishing communities of boat lift nets have  good social capital. Especially, the social capital related to the level of reciprocity and proactivity. 2) The characteristics of poverty or the level of prosperity of of fishing communities of boat lift nets in Labean Village have also  middle category. However, this midlle category on the property and prosperity level is categorised as low level (unsecure) and;3) according to statistical results show that chi-square level is 2.861, with P value is 0.091. The results also show that the P-value is less than α=10%, so that there is correlation between social capital and proverty or the level of prosperity of  fishing communities of boat lift nets in Labean Village in Balaesang District.

Abstract

To analyze the performance of the Department of Population and Civil Registration Palu in implementation of e-ID cards in South Palu district. The problem in this study is how the performance of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Palu in the implementation of e-ID cards in South Palu district?. This study uses the concept of performance theory Dwiyanto (1995:50) that where there are 5 performance concept that is composed of Productivity, Quality of Service, Responsiveness, Responsibility and Accountability. The research method used is a qualitative method. The technique of taking informants using purposive sampling method. From the research, Performance of Population and Civil Registration Palu in implementing e-ID application in the District of South Palu categorized performing well enough. Judging from the fifth dimension of service quality and performance aspects of Corporate Responsibility aspects included in the unfavorable category. Should be the work of the application associated with the element of stability or stability and can also be circumvented for all elements that are members in the organization. So that the existence and survival of the organization can be preserved and maintained, for the sake of continuity in achieving the vision and mission of the organization.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine and analyze : 1)the internal control results and completion of the follow-up results of the inspectorate on financial performance of the governmental working units in Tojo Una Una Regency; 2) significant influence of the internal control results and completion of the follow-up result of the inspectorate on financial performance of governmental working units in Tojo Una Una  Regency; 3) significant influence of the internal control results  on financial performance of governmental working units in Tojo Una Una  Regency;4) significant influence of the completion of the follow-up result of the inspectorate on financial performance of governmental working units in Tojo Una Una  Regency; This is a verificative study with quantitative approach. Statistical analysis using multiple linier regressions with program SPSS 16.0. The study finds that: 1) the internal control results and completion of the follow-up results of the inspectorate have significant influence on  financial performance of governmental working units in Tojo Una Una Regency; 2) the internal control results have significant influence on  financial performance of governmental working units in Tojo Una Una Regency; 3) the completion of the follow-up results of the inspectorate have significant influence on  financial performance of governmental working units in Tojo Una Una Regency.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) to seek and analyze simultaneous influence of product, price, promotion, and place on consumers’ purchasing decisions; 2) to seek  and analyze the influence of product on consumers’ purchasing decisions; 3) to seek  and analyze the influence of price on consumers’ purchasing decisions; 4) to seek  and analyze the influence of promotion on consumers’ purchasing decisions; 5) to seek  and analyze the influence of place on consumers’ purchasing decisions. Sample of this study consists of 61 people who selected through purposive sampling technique. The hypotheses are tested with multiple linear regressions. The result show that: 1) product, price promotion, and place simultaneously have significant influence of consumers’ purchasing decisions; 2) product influences consumers’ purchasing decisions positively but insignificantly; 3) price positively and significantly influences consumers’ purchasing decisions; 4) promotion positively and significantly influences consumers’ purchasing decisions; 5) place negatively and significantly influences consumers’ purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study intends to find out The Semi-strong Form of capital market efficiency on Islamic stock index in The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This efficiency study includes response to the circulated information in the market. The sample involves companies listed on Jakarta Islamic Index and distributed dividend during December 2013 to November 2014.Technique analysis used is quantitative and apllies event study method. The study is divided into 2 periods that are: estimation period, which takes place 2  months berfore the event and event period takes place in 21 days (10 days prior to the event, the event day, and 10 days post the event). Test result demonstrated that dividend annouincement has information content for the potential investors. This is shown by significant abnormal return on the dividend announcement day. In addition, it also shows that Islamic Stock Index in The Indonesia Stock Exchange is on the semi-strong form of efficiency, which is reflected by the absence of investors obtaining abnormal return consictetly in a long term. This also means that the market reacts quickly to new information provided.

Abstract

The aims of this research are : 1) to find out and analyze the simultaneous influence  of leadership and career development on employee’s performance at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu ; 2) to find out and analyze the influence of leadership on employee’s performance at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu ; 3 ) to find out and analyze the influence of  career  development on employee’s  performance at PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu. This research is descriptive that explains the influence of leadership and career development on employee’s  at PT. Suzuki Finance  Indonesia Palu  with 39 respondents who are selected  through purposive sampling  method. The results show that: 1) leadership and career  development simultaneously have significand and positive influence on employee’s performance  at PT Suzuki  Finance Indonesia Palu ; 2 ) leadershif  partially has positive and significant  influence on employee’s  performance at PT.  Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu ; 3 ) career development partially has positive and significant influence on employee’s  performance at PT.  Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how the employee performance at PT Bussan Auto Finance in Palu City. This study used descriptive qualitative approach, for it was describing, explaining, and interpreting data in detail relating to the employee performance at PT Bussan Auto Finance in Palu City. This study used field research, for it was carried out in the field to obtain data or information directly from the informants. The main performance theories used as references were (1) Quality, (2) Quantity, (3) Timeliness, (4) Effectivity, and (5) Autonomy. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was Sugiyono’s Interactive Model, comprising data reduction, data presentation, data validation, and conclusion. Based on the results, it could be concluded that the employee performance at PT Bussan Auto Finance in Palu City had been good enough, but there were some things that needed to be fixed to make the employee performance better. Based on the indicators used to assess the performance, just the timeliness aspect that was unmet by the employees of  PT Bussan Auto Finance, for there were still some employees who were often not in-time in carrying out their tasks or procrastinated for other reasons.

Abstract

Analysis of Shifting Burden of Proof System in Money Laundering by Nurdin. The research question was whether or not the shifting burden of proof system in money laundering had been consistent with the principle of Presumption of Innocence in civil law of procedures. The objective of the research was to identify whether or not the application of shifting burden of proof system in money laundering had been consistent with the prinsiple of Presumption of Innocence in civil law of procedures. The adopted research method was juridical normative. The results of the research suggested that the shifting burden of proof system did not conflict with the principle of presumption of innocence as implementation of human rights as it was naturally limited and balanced. The shifting burden of proof was limitedly applied in court proceeding and the issue evidenced by the defendant only concerned with his properties related with the civil case. On the other hand, the prosecutor remained to prove his accusation. The shifting burden of prood consistently respected the proportional balance between individual freedom protection and individual rights seizure in connection with his properties alleged to have been acquired unlawfully.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) to explore and analyze the implementation of school-based management and 2) to explore and analyze the management of school operational support grants in elementary schools in the area of Ratolindo Sub-District, Tojo Una-Una. The study applies descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Sample includes 33 respondents from 3 schools (SDN 8, SDN 3, and SDN 12) as the largest beneficiaries of BOS grant that is pusposively selected. Respondents are the principals, treasurer who handles BOS grants in The Department of Education, Youth, and Sport, teacher representatives, school committees, and student parents. The result shows that the implementation of school-based management in elementary schools in the area of Ratolindo Sub-District, Tojo Una-Una is rated ‘good’ with a mean of 4.48. Indicator with the higest mean is solid teamwork with independency and accountability in managing the school operational support grants. The ‘weak’ indicator relates with participation in decision making. Also, participation level of parents, especially in celebration of national holidays that are not covered by BOS grants. Overall the management of BOS grants is rated ‘good’ with mean of 4.69. Indicator with the highest mean in the preparation of school-budget plan, budget verification, and transaprancy and accountability in managing the grant. However, there is a school, SDN 12, which does not open access for parents to report transparency-related matters. Furthermore, SDN 8 has not posted information of  “free of cost education or this school is secured by BOS funds”.
