Abstract

This research was conducted in Sulawesi region, It aims at finding out: 1) The simultaneous and partial influence of inflation, invesment, and PDRB on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi. 2) The partial influence of inflation on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi. 3) The partial influence of Invesment on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi. 4) The partial Influence on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi. Panel data regression was used to analyze the data. The result show that first, the inflation, invesment, and PDRB simultaneously gives significant influence on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi in the period of 2010-2014. Second, the inflation gives insignificant negative influence on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi in the period of 2010-2014. Third, the invesment gives insignificant positive influence on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi in the period of 2010-2014. Fourth, PDRB gives insignificant negative influence on the unemployment rate in Sulawesi in the period of 2010-2014.

Abstract

This research intends to explore and analyze : 1) the influence of transformational leadership style, motivation, and work environment on employees’ performance in PDAM office of Palu; 2) ) the influence of transformational leadership style on employees’ performance in PDAM office of Palu;3) the influence of motivation on employees’ performance in PDAM office of Palu; 4) the influence of work environment on employees’ performance in PDAM office of Palu. The sample consists of 35 employees from al units in PDAM office of Palu. The method of analysis is descriptive with multiple linear regressions. The results show that transformational leadership style, motivation, and work environment simultaneously affect employees’ performance with F-value of 24,967 on the sig. 0.000; transformational leadership style significantly affects employees’ performance with regression coefficient value of 0,376 on the sig. 0.001; motivation significantly affects employees’ performance with regression coefficient value of 0,401 on the sig. 0.000; work environment significantly affects employees’ performance with regression coefficient value of 0,166 on the sig. 0.023.

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze simultaneous and partial influence of leadership style, organizational culture, and work discipline on officials’ performance in The Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Tojo Una-Una District. Type of study is descriptive causal. Population consists of 80 officials in The Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Tojo Una-Una District, civil servants and honorer. Sample involves 44 people selected through proportionate random sampling. Method of analysis is multiple linear regressions. The test result finds that Fvalue=10.032 with sig.value of 0.000 on confidence level (α = 0,05). This proves that leadership style, organizational culture, and work discipline simultaneosly influence officials’ performance in The Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Tojo Una-Una District, positively and significantly. Partially, leadership style and work discipline have positive and significant influence on performance, while work culture has positive but insignificant influence on officials’ performance in The Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Tojo Una- Una District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of social workers in dealing with intellectual disability in Bina Grahita Social Institution (PSBG) Nipotowe Palu. This research uses qualitative method. Research location at Bina Grahita Social Institution (PSBG) Nipotowe Palu. Selection of informants using Purposive is a technique of determining informants with certain considerations by setting 5 informants. Data were collected through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. In this research, the researcher uses Millennen Milles Interpretation Analysis technique. This analytical approach technique to elicit what it means or the meaning of the problem, case, circumstance or situation under study. Result of research is social worker performance in handling intellectual disability in Bina Grahita Social Institution (PSBG) Nipotowe Palu with indicator 1). Ability. The ability of social workers at Bina Grahita Social Institution (PSBG) Nipotowe Palu has been met with a good look at the intellectual and physical abilities. 2). The motivation of social worker in Bina Grahita Social Institution (PSBG) Nipotowe Palu has not been fulfilled, this is because of the unmet needs of social workers. 3). The desire of the social worker at Bina Grahita Social Institution (PSBG) Nipotowe Palu has not been fulfilled.

Abstract

The study aims to determining the extent of  the Service Group Community  in the Sustainable of Sanitation in the Bunga Village, inhibiting  factors. The method used by researchers is a qualitative research. This study are placed in the Bunga Village Palolo Sub District, Sigi District. While the informant was determined by purposive technique. Data collection techniques in this study using the method observation (observation), interview and documentation. Results were analyzed by using the theory according Taliziduhu services (1997: 63), while the concept of services that are used by the service dimension, is: 1). Right, including start hours until finish   services to community; (2). Easy include ease caretaker Community group to provide services and ease caretaker Community  group in understanding the problems faced by the community; (3). Fair covers services provided by the management group Community  relating to the distribution of clean water to support the sustainability of sanitation; and (4). Fast is the responsiveness on the board of Community in providing the services needed by the community. The results of reseach in the village earn interest at the conclusion that the service group community self-reliance based on the theory of public services according to Taliziduhu Ndraha (1997:63) is only one aspect of speed is accomplished while the three other aspect have not been implemented is: 1). Accuracy because services do not conform with the standarts of operations (swordfish timely and routine daily servicing); 2). Ease because of limited technical skills, knowladge and the number of active groups of community self –reliance, and 3). Juctice as a new clean water is distributed and used by one hundred and seven heads of households out of the the total of two hundred and ninety six heads of households.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the service quality Electronic Identity Card at the Office of Population and Civil Registration Palu. This research is classified as descriptive research. With a qualitative approach. This research was held at the Office of Population and Civil Registration Palu. The theory is used to measure the quality of service is a theory proposed by Tjiptono (1995: 14), dimensional quality of service includes Courtesy and hospitality, Responsibility, Convenience, Comfort, and Completeness Facility. This type of data consists of primary data and secondary data. Retrieval and Data Collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by means of data collection, data presentation and inference. These results indicate that the quality of service indicators Courtesy and hospitality in Service and Ease indicators already showed a good condition. While indicators of responsibility, comfort, and indicators Complete facilities need to be improved or that are in unsatisfactory condition.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) analyze the utilization of controversial issue learning source in social learning of SMP Negeri 4 Palu; and 2) analyze the students’ history awareness improvement through controversial issue learning source in social learning of SMP Negeri 4 Palu. The method employed was quantitative with data collection covered interview, observation, documentation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using qualitative technique from Miles and Huberman interactive model. The result and conclusion were as follow: social subject teacher has already utilized learning source such as school environment, books, especially textbooks. Controversial issue happen frequently causing pro and contra that history contented material, like the entry of religion and its development and Islam culture in archipelago and other events around proclamation and its preparation. The utilization of learning source on controversial issue has increased students’ history awareness in good category. Substantial reference indicates that students’ history awareness increased to 30 indicators which were classified into 4 main aspects, namely: discipline, communication, psychology and routine. Discipline and communication were evaluated good enough whereas psychology and routine were categorized good. Viewed from technical aspect or the place of the occurrence of students’ history awareness, it can be divided into 2 parts, namely: learning process and supporting facility of learning (learning source). From the learning process, it can be concluded that it already run well except Indonesian map is nothing. If history awareness is viewed from outside class, then, it concluded there is an indication of history awareness particularly when ceremony commencement and do not throw the garbage improperly.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to determine the implementation influence of minimum service standards policy on educational services quality and also to identify the implementation influence of minimum service standards implemented into the internal policy on educational services quality at the Social and Political Sciences Faculty of Tadulako University. The theories used as footholds were the Policy Implementation Theory of Charles O. Jones (X Variables) comprising the dimensions of Organization, Interpretation, and Application and the Service Quality Theory of Rosenbloom (Y Variables) comprising the dimensions of Efficiency, Competence, and Fairness. The research method used was quantitative study. The sampling technique used was probability sampling, especially random sampling. Data were collected by means of questionnaire distributed to 88 respondents who were the implementors of the policy comprising the Faculty leadership elements, units leadership elements, and educators and educational personnels. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression technique. The results showed that the implementation of minimum service standards policy referred to the theory of Charles O. Jones (1994) comprising the factors of organization, interpretation, and application partially had significant and positive influence on educational services quality at Social and Political Sciences Faculty of Tadulako University where the organization factor partially had sufficiently strong influence, the interpretation factor partially had sufficiently strong influence, and the application factor partially had strong influence on educational services quality at Social and Political Sciences Faculty of Tadulako University. While the simultaneous testing showed that the implementation of minimum service standards policy simultaneously had significant and positive influence on educational services quality at Social and Political Sciences Faculty of Tadulako University with strong level of influence closeness amounting to 26% while the rest 74% was owned by the other factors (epsilon) which is not detected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Organizational Culture on Private Higher School of Administration (STIA) Panca Marga Hammer City. Organizational culture is a common perception held by members of the organization, and is a sistem of shared meaning. According to Robbins to reveal the nature of the culture of an organization there are 7 (seven) dimensions that can be used in this study, among others, 1) Innovation and risk-taking, 2) Attention to detail, 3 ) outcome orientation, 4) People orientation, 5) Team orientation, 6) aggressiveness and 7) Stability. In this research, using qualitative methods of data analysis techniques used in the data processing Interactive Analysis Model. The informants in this study consists of various elements of the Element Leader, Academic Technical Implementation Elements, Elements Lecturer (Lecturer), Secretariat staff Elements, Elements and Elements Student Alumni. Selection of informants using purposive where informants selected based on their level of involvement and control the problem and research objectives.The results showed that the application of organizational culture in STIA Panca Marga Palu already applied. In its current state, an organization must have a value that can be used as a competitive advantage in the face of a very competitive especially in the realm of education. Related to the applied work attitude as it has been studied as one of the internalization of the values ​​and acculturation.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah pemberian penangguhan dan pengalihan penahanan relevan dengan asas peradilan cepat, sederhana dan biaya ringan? dan, apakah penangguhan dan pengalihan penahanan berimplikasi pada kepastian hukum penyelesaian perkara pidana? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan undang-undang, konseptual, dan kasus. Teknik pengumpulan bahan hukum menggunakan metode library Research, dan hasil penelusuran bahan hukum tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis-deskriptif. Dari hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini, penulis memperoleh kesimpulan, bahwa pemberian penangguhan dan pengalihan penahanan penahanan belum relevan dengan asas peradilan cepat, sederhana, dan biaya ringan. Hal ini tampak dari adanya pemberian penangguhan dan pengalihan penahanan yang justru menghambat proses penyelesaian perkara pidana baik karena terdakwanya melarikan diri, atau karena alasan lain yang mempersulit penuntut umum menghadirkan terdakwa di sidang pengadilan. Bahwa implikasi hukum dari penangguhan dan pengalihan penahanan yang kurang tepat adalah terhambatnya proses peradilan, dan gagalnya penyelesaian perkara pidana yang pada akhirnya memberikan ketidakpastian hukum.
