Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mendengarkan siswa kelas delapan di SMPN 19 Palu melalui lagu bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai kolaboratif penelitian tindakan kelas di mana peneliti dan kolaborator-nya bekerja sama untuk merancang rencana pelajaran, menerapkan tindakan, mengamati efek tindakan, dan merefleksikan hasil dari tindakan. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti bertindak sebagai praktisi, motivator, dan fasilitator, sedangkan kolaboratornya menjadi pengamat dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus. Siklus 1 terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan siklus 2 terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Lagu Bahasa Inggris digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mendengarkan siswa. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari dua puluh siswa. Data menunjukkan bahwa siswa menikmati dan senang dalam proses belajar dan mengajar. Para siswa sangat aktif dalam melakukan semua tugas-tugas. Untuk memperoleh data apakah tanggapan siswa keterampilan mendengar dapat dikembangkan, diberikan kuesioner dan tes individu. Pelaksanaan dua siklus menunjukkan peningkatan prestasi siswa. Ada 13 (65,00%) siswa yang berhasil dan 10 (30,00%) siswa dianggap gagal. Kemudian, berhasil meningkat menjadi 15 (75%) siswa dan gagal menurun menjadi 5 (25.00%) siswa pada siklus 2. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tindakan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dianggap berhasil untuk memecahkan masalah keterampilan mendengarkan.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe Language behavioring of the head master at SD Inpres Kotarindau in formal situation, it is include (1) behavioring form of the head master at SD Inpres Kotarindau in formal situation, (2) behavioring strategy of the head master at SD Inpres Kotarindau in formal situation. The approach which used in this research is prakmatik approach. The method which used is qualitative descriptive method. The data accumulation is done by two techniques, they are (1) recording and (2) observation. The data analysis technique in this research is interactive model. The analysis in this research include four steps, they are (1) data accumulation, (2) data of reduction, (3) serving of data, (4) verification or take a concluding. The result of this research consist of (1) behavioring form in invitation, (2) behavioring form in requesting, (3) behavioring form in wish, (4) behavioring form in attitude, (5) behavioring form in advice, and (6) behavioring form in hope. Second, the behavioring function of head master in formal situation include (1) behavioring function of invitation is functioned by invitation and attention, (2) behavioring function of requesting is fuctioned by action and confirmation, (3) behavioring function of hope is functioned by hope, and (4) behavioring function in advice is functioned as a prohibit. Third, the strategy of language behavioring of head master in formal situation include diect strategy and indirect strtegy. Direct strategy consist of (1) direct invitation, (2) direct advice, (3) direct hope, and (4)  direct request. The strategy of indirect consist of indirect command.

Abstract

Writing learning in the school of Madrasah Aliyah alkhairat Siniu need to get care of the teacher at the indonesian language subject. when the students faced at the writing learning of argumentation paragraph, the students always gets difficult. Along learning of writing, the students have less to care rules which have been in the writing skills. It was caused the students have weakness in writing skills of the students in writing argumentation paraghraph. The objective of tis research to (I) describe the students ability in writing argumentatin paraghraph at the tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah alkhairat Siniu using inquiry learning method. And (2) describe the result in improvement of students ability in writing argumentation paragraph at the tenth grade tudents of Madrasah Aliyah alkhairat Siniu using inquiry learning method. The method of this research which used in this reserch is descriptive method, that is a research method which try to decide which present be ready based on the datas. The design or model of this research is a classroom action research, that is Kemmis model. Which consist of (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Based on the result of reseacrh at he cycle (I), it was about ability of the teacher (researcher) in doing a process of learning at the cycle I in the tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah alkhairat Siniu still in the minus category with the result presented 22,57%. At the cycle (II)the resut of teacher ability in doing learning process at the tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah alkhairat Siniu can be seen i the very good categorywith the result of prsented 34,08%. Finally, it can be concluded that learning the students with using inquiry strategy can improve students ability in writing argumentation paraghraph at the tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah alkhairat Siniu.

Abstract

Penelitian quasi-eksperimental ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi gambar-gambar kontekstual terhadap pengembangan kemampuan menulis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Buko. Populasi ini diambil untuk sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini melibatkan 22 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 23 siswa pada kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen utama yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian adalah test. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan t-test analisis untuk membandingkan skor rata-rata dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata 81.8 dari kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari pada skor rata-rata 73,5 dari kelas kontrol. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus t-test. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung adalah 4.234. Dengan menerapkan tingkat signifikansi 0.05 dan derajat kebebasan (df) 43, nilai t-table adalah 1.681. Dengan demikian, maka Haditerima karena nilai t-counted 4.234lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel 1.681. Ini berarti bahwa ada pengembangan kemampuan menulis pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi gambar kontekstual. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan gambar-gambar kontekstual sangat efektif untuk digunakan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan menulis siswa.

Abstract

Scrutinize learning is listening proses of oral symbols expressly and carefully and also with understanding, apreciation, interpretation, reaction, and evaluation to get a message, information, content and the meaning in there. The problem formula of this research are (1) how is the application role play method to improve ability in  scrutinize  content folklore at fifth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Paranggi Kecamatan Ampibabo? (2) how is the improvement result of application role play method to improve ability in  scrutinize  content folklore at fifth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Paranggi Kecamatan Ampibabo?. this research has aim to (1) describe application role play method to improve ability in  scrutinize  content folklore at fifth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Paranggi Kecamatan Ampibabo, (2) describing result of application role play method to improve ability in  scrutinize  content folklore at fifth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Paranggi Kecamatan Ampibabo. This research has two cycles, each of cycle has implemented two meetings in the class and each cycle consist of four steps, there are planning, implementing, observation and reflection. The indicator of individual achievement is 67% and the classical completeness is 80%. The assesment component of scrutinize folklore that is accuracy to telling the content of story, accuracy analysis of character in a story, writing the background of the story which listened and conclude the content of story. Based on the poduct, the improvement of students scrutinize ability can be seen based on the data analysis of improvement students scrutinizing. He result of cycle 1, individual completeness achieve 65,5% and classical comleteness 71,4%. Result of the research at cycle II had a significance improvement, individual completeness achieve 80,95% and classical completeness achieve 100%. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning with role play method can improve scrutinize ability of folklore  content story at the fifth grade students of SD Inpres 1 Paranggi, Kecamatan Ampibabo.

Abstract

The problem which explained in this research consisted of two things, they were ; (1) what were symbols which found in Balia Baliore traditional ceremony at Kaili tribe, (2) what were the meaning which found in symbols in Balia Baliore traditional ceremony at Kaili tribe. The objective of this research was to described the symbols which found in Balia Baliore traditional ceremony at Kaili tribe. The approach that used in this research was qualitative approach. Kind of this research which used was descriptive qualitative research. The ethod which used in this research was listening and conversation method. The data accumulation which done in this research through: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Dokumentation, (4) recording. The data analysis which used was Miles and Hubermen model through 4 steps, they were : (1) accumulation data step, (2) reduction data, (3) serving data, (4) Verification data. Research result showed that in Balia Baliore traditional ceremony at Kaili tribe that found nineteen steps, in each of step there was symbols which full meaning, there were symbols which explained in Balia Baliore traditional ceremony at Kaili tribe was verbal and nonverbal symbol. Nineteen steps of Balia Baliore traditional ceremony at Kaili tribe, they were : (1), nompairomu, (2) Nompakende joa, (3) mosore vayo, (4) mompesule manu, (5) nombangu tava kayu, (6) nangande ka ada, (7) nosinggulama pamula, (8) noisi sakaya, (9) nompopolivo sakaya, (11) mosore vayo setelah pelarungan, (12) nodungganaka tava kayu, (13) noporo ri vamba, (14) nangande ka ada kaupuna, (15) nosunggilama kaupuna, (16) nocera, (17) pray together, (18) nobagi poloya, (19) novonto potampari.

Abstract

Mengeksplorasi Persepsi Guru terhadap Keikutsertaan Mereka dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran. Pemerintah telah melakukan sejumlah upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru seperti memfasilitasi forum MGMP. Akan tetapi, hanya sedikit penelitian dilakukan dalam mengkaji dampak partisipasi guru terhadap kompetensi guru, pembelajaran dan capaian siswa. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi guru yang ikut dalam MGMP di kota Palu. Untuk melakukannya, delapan sampel terdiri dari enam guru, satu kepala sekolah dan satu ketua MGMP dipilih. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan fenomenologi sebagai dasar pendekatan penelitian. Untuk memperoleh data, penelitian ini menggunakan interview semi terstruktur secara mendalam untuk mengkaji lebih jauh persepsi guru. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa partisipan menganggap partisipasi mereka di MGMP berpengaruh besar terhadap kompetensi mereka, terutama kompetensi profesional. Sebagai akibatnya, mereka menganggap bahwa pengajaran mereka lebih baik daripada sebelum mengikuti MGMP dan kemajuan tersebut berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi siswa dalam proses belajar. Akan tetapi, partisipan mempercayai bahwa partisipasi mereka tidak berdampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kohesi dan koherensi dalam Artikel Ilmiah Populer Radar Sulteng (AIPRS). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Wacana kritis (AWK) Fairclough dalam menganalisis wacana dalam tiga dimensi, yaitu (1) data linguistik, (2) praktik-praktik diskursif, dan (3) praktik-praktik sosial, melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: deskripsi, interpretasi, dan eksplanasi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data tertulis dalam bentuk dokumen AIPRS. Data diperoleh melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: orientasi/deskripsi, reduksi/ fokus, dan seleksi. Kemudian, data dianalisis menggunakan model AWK Fairclough, yaitu data linguistik dianalisis melalui kajian bentuk dan makna, dinterpretasikan, dan dieksplanasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan bahwa dalam AIPRS ditemukan bentuk kohesi dan koherensi. Bentuk kohesi terdiri atas, kohesi gramatikal dan leksikal. Penanda kohesi gramatikal, meliputi: referen/pengacuan, substitusi/penyulihan, elipsis/pelesapan, konjungsi/penghubung, dan inversi. Kemudian kohesi leksikal terdiri atas: repetisi/pengulangan, sinonim/kesamaan makna, antonimi/lawan makna, kolokasi/sanding kata, ekuivalensi/kesejajaran. Selain itu, terdapat  penanda koherensi dalam AIPRS yang mencakup: hubungan sebab akibat, hubungan akibat sebab, hubungan sarana hasil, hubungan alasan tindakan, hubungan latar simpulan, hubungan kelonggaran hasil, hubungan perbandingan, hubungan hubungan parafrastis, hubungan adiftif, hubungan identifikasi, hubungan generik-spesifik, hubungan spesifik-generik, hubungan ibarat, dan hubungan argumentatif.

Abstract

Based on the problem formula in this research is whether with the using of audio visual media scrutinize ability in folklore can improve and how is audio visual media in improving scrutinize skills learning at fifth grade students at SDN 2 Bale. There is a research method which used is kualitative and kuantitative method, these are rivalry assortment method strategy in descriptive form. The aim of this research is to improve scrutinize ability in folklore or description about the using of audio visual media in improving scrutinize ability. Technique that used by researcher is non structure interview that is free interview and using main instrument and supporting instrument. Main instrument is a researcher and supprting instrument is observation compass, field note, documentation and photos. Result of this research formulated that using audio visual media in indonesian language especially scrutinize in folklore obtained class average is 74,61% and the percentage classical completeness achieve 84,61% with 11 students who complete from 13 students. Result of interview from a teacher in the class, senior teacher and KUPTD education is very thankfull by the using of that media. Students response well to the benefit of audio visual media in indonesian language learning, especially scrutinize in folklore. Factors which show the weakness of audio visual media in learning that is if the school yet achieved electricity and facility of that media had yet by the school. Whereas the positive impact in the using of audio visual media based on the  interview result of a teacher in the class, senior teacher, and KUPTD education is very need to developed with the technology developing and learning system which have quality, until not resposibility the students in receiving the material f the subject. Therefore, audio visual learning media is effisien and have benefit for the teacher or student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  menjelaskan tentang campur kode dalam debat calon presiden Indonesia 2014. Penelitian ini dirancang secara kualitatif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengumpulkan datanya dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan perhitungan sederhana. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa diantara ketiga jenis campur kode menunjukkan penyisipan cenderung menjadi jenis utama campur kode yang terjadi dalam debat calon presiden (87,6%), diikuti oleh leksikal kongruen (10,1%), dan terakhir adalah selang-seling (2,2%). Fungsi campur kode paling sering digunakan adalah membicarakan tentang topik tertentu (33,3%). Ada dua fenomena campur kode dengan bahasa lain: Pertama, kebutuhan, jika tidak ada kalimat yang tepat dalam bahasa Indonesia yang dapat mewakili bahasa Indonesia, Kedua adalah karena pembicara ingin menunjukkan status sosialnya.
