Abstract

The significant number of educated unemployed university graduates underscores the need to promote entrepreneurial aspirations as an alternative career option for students. This study investigates how entrepreneurial education shapes students' entrepreneurial aspirations, with entrepreneurial motivation and self-efficacy acting as mediating mechanisms. The study was conducted in the Business Education program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, involving 150 students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts who had completed or were taking entrepreneurship courses. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed quantitatively with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that entrepreneurial education has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention, motivation, and self-efficacy. Entrepreneurial motivation also positively influences entrepreneurial intention and self-efficacy, while self-efficacy significantly enhances entrepreneurial intention. In addition, entrepreneurial motivation mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial education and both entrepreneurial intention and self-efficacy. Self-efficacy also mediates the effects of entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, entrepreneurial motivation and self-efficacy jointly form a sequential mediation pathway through which entrepreneurial education influences entrepreneurial intention. Overall, the findings demonstrate that entrepreneurial education strengthens students' entrepreneurial intention through both direct and indirect pathways by enhancing entrepreneurial motivation and self-efficacy. Therefore, higher education institutions are encouraged to design entrepreneurship learning experiences that foster students' motivation and confidence to pursue entrepreneurial careers. Keywords: Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurial Intention, Entrepreneurial Motivation, Self-Efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) the influence of E-Service Quality on Go-Ride customer satisfaction, (2) the influence of price perception on Go-Ride customer satisfaction, (3) the influence of E-Service Quality on Go-Ride customer loyalty, (4) the influence of price perception on Go-Ride customer loyalty, (5) the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, (6) the mediating role of customer satisfaction on the influence of E-Service Quality toward customer loyalty, and (7) the mediating role of customer satisfaction on the influence of price perception toward customer loyalty. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The population of this research is active students of Sebelas Maret University. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with 395 respondents selected. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire instrument to measure E-Service Quality, price perception, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty variables using a Likert scale distributed via Google Forms. The data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis and Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that: (1) E-Service Quality has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction, (2) price perception has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction, (3) E-Service Quality has a negative and significant influence on loyalty, (4) price perception has a positive and significant influence on loyalty, (5) satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty, (6) E-Service Quality has a positive and significant influence on loyalty through customer satisfaction, and (7) price perception has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. Abstract

Abstract The Rupiah exchange rate against the United States Dollar is a strategic macroeconomic indicator that is highly sensitive to domestic and global economic shocks. Although previous studies have examined exchange rate determinants, evidence integrating domestic and global factors during the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent global monetary policy normalization remains limited. This study analyzes the short-run and long-run effects of inflation, BI Rate, foreign exchange reserves, trade balance, the Federal Funds Rate, and the United States Dollar Index (DXY) on the Rupiah exchange rate. Monthly time-series data from January 2019 to December 2025 (84 observations) were obtained from Bank Indonesia, Statistics Indonesia, and the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED). The Engle–Granger two-step Error Correction Model (ECM) was employed following the Augmented Dickey–Fuller stationarity test and residual-based cointegration test. The results indicate that, in the long run, inflation and the Dollar Index significantly contribute to Rupiah depreciation, while the Federal Funds Rate exhibits a counter-cyclical effect during Indonesia's commodity-driven recovery. In the short run, foreign exchange reserves and the trade balance significantly strengthen the Rupiah, whereas the Dollar Index consistently exerts depreciation pressure. The Error Correction Term coefficient of −0.2066 indicates that 20.66% of short-run disequilibrium is corrected each month, implying convergence to long-run equilibrium within four to five months. These findings emphasize the importance of reserve management, export competitiveness, and coordinated monetary policies to enhance exchange rate stability amid global uncertainty. Keywords: BI Rate, Dollar Index, Error Correction Model, Exchange Rate, Foreign Exchange Reserves.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intention plays a crucial role in encouraging university students to pursue a career as entrepreneurs. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurship education and social media on entrepreneurial intention, with entrepreneurial mindset serving as a mediating variable among students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at UNS. A quantitative approach utilizing a survey method was employed. The study population consisted of active students from the Economic Education, Office Administration Education, and Accounting Education study programs (classes of 2022–2023) who had completed an entrepreneurship course. A probability sampling technique specifically proportionate stratified random sampling was used to select a sample of 131 students. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education, social media, and entrepreneurial mindset all exert a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, entrepreneurial mindset mediates the relationship between entrepreneurship education/social media and entrepreneurial intention. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening students' entrepreneurial mindset as a connecting factor, thereby enabling entrepreneurship education and social media to more effectively foster entrepreneurial intention. Keywords: entrepreneurship education, social media, entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial mindset

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has increased the use of ChatGPT in higher education, yet frequent use does not necessarily lead to positive perceptions of AI. This study examines the effects of AI self-efficacy and ChatGPT use on students’ perceptions of AI, with AI literacy as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed. The population consisted of 479 Economic Education students at Universitas Sebelas Maret from the 2022–2025 cohorts. Using purposive sampling, 100 students who had used ChatGPT for academic purposes were selected as respondents. Data were collected through a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that AI self-efficacy has positive and significant effects on AI perception and AI literacy. ChatGPT use has a positive and significant effect on AI literacy but does not significantly affect AI perception. AI literacy positively and significantly affects AI perception. Furthermore, AI literacy partially mediates the effect of AI self-efficacy on AI perception but does not mediate the effect of ChatGPT use on AI perception. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening AI self-efficacy and AI literacy to support more informed perceptions of AI in learning. Keywords: AI self-efficacy, ChatGPT usage, AI perception, AI literacy.
