Abstract

In this time electrical energy is one of the most energy used. In industry electrical energy becomes a necessity that cannot be separated from the production process. Due to the need for electrical energy sources, of course, a protection system is needed to maintain the continuity and stability of electrical energy from existing disturbances such as short circuit disturbances. To overcome the short circuit, OCR is used. To assist the process of calculating loadflow and short-circuit current, ETAP12.6 is used. The results of the analysis of the ETAP 12.6 will be compared with the data obtained in the field with the aim of analyzing whether the use of the ETAP 12.6 software in assisting calculations and analysis in the selection of OCR settings. The difference in ocr settings in the ETAP 12.6 and field data has a difference of less than 2%. This difference is relatively small and can still be used to help the process in selecting the OCR settings.

Abstract

Micromouse is a science and technology project competition that began in the late 1970s. Simply put, the micromouse competition is an event where robotic mice can navigate a 16x16 maze without human assistance. Convolutional Neural Network, also known as CNN, is an extension of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) designed to process two-dimensional data and is often used for classification, recognition, and prediction tasks. In the conducted research, a robotic mouse was designed using Raspberry Pi to control servo motor movements and utilize a camera to detect maze obstacles, such as intersections, through image scanning. The robotic mouse was tested using a CNN architecture model on TensorFlow, assisted by a line detection algorithm. The testing results indicated that the CNN model architecture showed signs of overfitting (the model learned features too well from the training data) with an accuracy of 96.53%, and the model accuracy evaluation result was 97.97% on the designed dataset. As part of the testing, a maze size of 5x5 was used. The testing of the Convolutional Neural Network model and line detection algorithm, when applied to the robotic mouse, demonstrated that the mouse could navigate according to the path. However, the recorded data was influenced by external light reflecting off the surface of the path, causing the line detection algorithm to perceive it as an obstacle, leading the robot to turn back..

Abstract

The subject of Natural Sciences plays a crucial role in Elementary School Education. One of the topics covered in elementary school Natural Sciences is the circulatory system. The topic of the circulatory system in Natural Sciences can be studied extensively, particularly focusing on the closed or double circulatory system. The circulatory system is one of the challenging topics for elementary school students to understand and absorb, especially in Grade V. Some elementary school students may also struggle to comprehend the structure of the circulatory system in humans, particularly the cardiovascular system from the top or bottom. There are many tools that assist students in learning a particular subject. One useful tool for learning Natural Sciences is interactive media. This research involves the development of interactive media using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This paper explains the ongoing development process.

Abstract

In the modern era, information technology continues to develop in line with human needs who want efficiency, ease, speed and accuracy in obtaining information and sending information. Moreover, in an office building, facilities for accessing information require a fast and efficient internet network as facilities and infrastructure to support office activities. In general, Mikrotik routers are widely used in office buildings as a means of distributing the internet. With the use of a mikrotik router that requires a lot of design and simulation first to get good internet performance GNS3 can design a topology that will be used in 2 ways, namely using Qemu and Virtual Box. Both of these methods have their respective advantages over the design process and test results

Abstract

This paper discusses the control of a stepper motor using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) methods. In this paper, the author presents two designs: one using a stepper motor controller with an astable multivibrator as a pulse generator and the other utilizing a microcontroller as the pulse generator. The design of the stepper motor controller with an astable multivibrator involves using the IC timer 555 to control the stepper motor speed and a latch circuit to control the direction of the stepper motor rotation. Meanwhile, the design of the stepper motor controller with a microcontroller employs the Arduino UNO R3 to control both the direction and speed of the stepper motor. Testing is conducted through a simulation of the system design using Proteus software. From the test results, it is observed that an increase in the PWM value leads to a faster rotation speed of the stepper motor, conversely, a decrease in PWM value results in a slower rotation speed of the stepper motor.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence is increasingly widespread, one of which is in the use of detecting an object. In general, object detection is often used in tools that capture images such as cameras on cell phones or CCTV which is applied to e-tickets (electronic tickets). With deep learning technique in this article to detect fruit, it is hoped that it can be useful in everyday life such as a fruit sorting machine based on the level of maturity based on color or separating fruit from leaves in the fruit picking process.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there are several forms of exports, one of which is oil and gas exports. The Double Exponential Smoothing method is a forecasting method that can be used to forecast oil and gas export data. This method uses two smoothing parameters, namely the average smoothing parameter alpha (α), the trend smoothing parameter beta (β). In this study, the population used is data on oil and gas exports in Indonesia. And the sample used is Indonesia's oil and gas export data from January 2020 to October 2021, we get 22 data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The Double Exponential Smoothing method is used because the data to be processed has a trend, both an up and a down trend and gas exports in Indonesia have an up and down pattern. The Double Exponential Smoothing method can also predict the prediction of oil and gas exports in Indonesia in the next months, November 2021 to February 2022. To process the data, the researcher used the Holt Double Exponential Smoothing method .

Abstract

Indomaret and Alfamart are minimarket businesses that are currently experiencing significant growth, especially in the city of Salatiga. Each company strives to achieve maximum profit, and thus, it is essential to determine the most optimal competitive strategy to attract customers. This research was conducted using a questionnaire to understand what influences consumers in choosing a minimarket for shopping, providing valuable insights for determining minimarket strategies. Game Theory is employed to represent the respondents. The results of the study indicate that Alfamart will employ a location-based strategy in their stores, while Indomaret will utilize discount and promotion strategies for their easily accessible minimarkets.

Abstract

The internet is an information and communication technology that makes it easier for human activities to access data and send information into networks. For industry, the internet is also used to store data both internally and externally. There are several application facilities that are open source to help the industry save data via the internet to the cloud, one of which is the ELK stack. In this research, a simulation of a temperature and humidity monitoring system is designed for a server device factory and simultaneously calculates the amount of production. The data obtained is sent to Elasticsearch as a cloud so that the measurement data can be monitored and visualized in the form of graphs. The system is realized using a microcontroller, ESP8266, DHT11 sensor and proximity sensor. This design is equipped with an ELK system that can collect data and filter the required data so that it can be monitored and visualized in real time. The results of testing the temperature and humidity obtained are in the optimal value range and also proves that this research can be used on a large scale. It is recommended that this design be implemented in a factory or smart home to make it easier to obtain and retrieve the required data.

Abstract

Internet of Things or IoT is a technology that is currently trending, because it can help human in their daily routine. One of the IoT product that used in homes is smart speaker. However, every latest technological innovation does not escape from vulnerabilities and one of them is the microphone on the smart speaker. Several studies and research have found that security vulnerabilities in smart speakers, such as dolphin attacks and audio capture. To find out how this audio capture technique works, an experiment was made to understand how it works and the impact of this technique. This experiment uses a smart speaker with voice assistant Alexa, using the Alexa Skills Kit services and Flask-Ask framework to create an audio capture program. The results of this program testing are expected to be used as a benchmark to prevent smart speakers from becoming the target of this technique anymore.
