Abstract

In this project created an AM STEREO transmitter that the signal can be received on receiving AM MONOand AM STEREO. To obtain broadcast quality, should be using the receiver AM STEREO. The advantages ofthis transmitter broadcasts a bit cleaner when compared with AM MONO, but the transmitter AM STEREOwas not hifi when compared with STEREO FM transmitter. Transmitter consists of four sections of the mostimportant are:-Isolator-Matrix Audio-Phase Modulator-Amplitude Modulator

Abstract

The aim of this project is to show the aerodynamics experiment results of a truck in terms of drag coefficient (Cd) within aerodynamics forces. The test was conducted in the Wind Tunnel laboratory at the University of South Australia in the school of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. In addition to the test, fairing and without fairing effects were investigated. Results, Cd truck with fairing was lower than that of with fairing by 0.108 or from 1.518 to 1.41. By adding the fairing on the truck’s cap, fuel consumption could be saved

Abstract

Regional river of Watutela Wuno which is located in Palu and Donggala Regency in Central Sulawesi represent the valley area encircled by mountain with many river emit a stream of among other things later on have estuary to Palu river. The river is very potential developed as water resource to fulfill amount of water required of resident especially at dry season by developing a dam. This study is to know the potential river or location to be made dam location to fulfilling amount of water required resident, livestock and garden and also know the amount water availability at the river. Method used by data collecting from related institution, survey field and analyze the condition of location of candidate dam and also test the sensitivity to determine the development priority. From the analysis got that Ngia dam in Ngatabaru village most important to can be developed with the consideration of various aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify and justifies implementation of the trinity concept architecturaldesign conceived by Vitruvius, the architect who existed in the first century AD, to explore the design conceptof Mapolda building in Central Sulawesi as a representation of the new paradigm of policing.Function (utilities), the structure and construction (firmitas), aesthetics (venustas) is a parameter that is usedto trace the application of theory Vitruviuas to the building is designed and located in Palu. Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the protection system reliability steam turbine generator at Camming Sugar Factory in Bone regency against short circuit. Generator protection system reliability at Camming Sugar Factory in 1996 to 2003 reliability configuration is 1. In 2004 to 2007, the series reliability configuration is 0.9994, reliability parallel configuration is 1.0 and backup configuration is 0.9995. In 2008 to 2011, the series and parallel configurations reliability is 1, while the backup configuration is 0.9998. In 2012, the series reliability configuration are 0.9998, parallel eliability,configuration is  0.0007 and backup configuration reliability is 1. This shows that the generator protection system reliability at Camming Sugar Factory classified very well.

These things, can be seen from tightening of emulation of service quality, price, promotion among so much airline him. In a condition tight emulation, especial matter which must be given high priority by airline is customer satisfaction/ passenger can stay, vieing with to master market compartment. Airline have to know things any kind of lionized by all airline and passenger yield performance as good possible so that can customer gratify. Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluation of performance intercities public transportation on route of Palu – Poso Central Sulawesi base on travel time, operation speed, number of passenger, load factor, vehicle operation cost and transport income. The result of this research show that  operation of intercities transport still eligible base on the speed of operation and amount of vehicle operation cost on the income of the operator of intercities transport, althought benefit of the operator is very law.

Abstract

Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CRFP), has over two decades become an increasingly notable material used in structural engineering application. CRFP could be used as prestressing materials due to their high strength. However research by improving the shear capacity of beam-column T-joints using CFRP composite materials is still in the early stages.The present paper describes some experimental results of unreal scale (one-third times the actual size) tests of concrete beam-column joints of several experiments by the Civil Construction Experts for 14 specimens. The variables considered were the composite system, the fiber orientation, and the surface preparation. The tests have demonstrated the viability of carbon FRP composites for their use in improving the shear capacity of the joints with inadequate confinement and their reinforcement analysis.

Abstract

The penatration resistance using DCPT on a type of soil are influenced by density and moisture content. The aim of this research is to experimentally study of cone penetration resistance (qc) friction ratio Rf ), dry density (γd) and water content (w) relationship on silt. The silt sample taken from Tondo, Eastward of SMUN 5 Palu. The penetration test are worked on several γd and w variation. Test result showed that the higher the water content, the higher the friction ratio Rf but the lower the qc. At low w, the higher the γd the higher the gradient qc/w. At hight water content, rising up the γd have no significant influence to the gradient qc/w
