Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine  a value of capacities of capacitor on induction motor one phase with  various capacities value. Data was collected with a testing procedure for several capacities value.The research comprised several capacitor value i.e, at respectively 2,533μF, 7,18μF and 8,24μF. The result of this research indicated that big more and more motor burden hence current emiting a stream of big more and more, good power factor progressively and efesiensi increase. And larger ones capasitor value will cause power factor of leading, voltage will precede current

Abstract

The use of natural materials for construction purposes should be developed. Special reinforced concrete construction, in some cases, the compressive strength is not a determining factor, but rather ductility. On the other hand, bamboo is a natural material has a ductile properties sufficient to be used as reinforcement. For this type of bamboo lear, some properties that are important to note is the compressive strength , σ//= 39.89 MPa,  σ┴ = 5.55 MPa, Shear strength is 7.644 MPa  and tensile strength is 207.523 MPa. In addition, the physical properties of mortar material used is weight of contents of cement is 1.25 gr/cm3, weigtht ofcontent of sand is 1.60 gr/cm3.From the test results it can be concluded that the test samples for concrete mix bamboo panel with division 1 cement and 4 sand did not change significantly so that the maximum load obtained for testing age from 7 days to 21 days also resulted in maximum load that is not much different. Thus the utilization of bamboo reinforced concrete panels for the purpose of the wall can be done, although it still requires further development.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know characteristic of Marshall Stability and Marshall Immersion value of the old asphalt mixing that recycling by rejuvenating diesel oil. The old Asphalt mix from asphalt pavement deteroration on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Palu Central Sulawesi.Result of extraction test of old asphalt mix was to found the asphalt content 4,6%. This scenarios of recycling asphalt in this research were five varieties of asphalt content and five varieties of rejuvenating agent. Varieties of asphalt content are 4,6% (without added of new asphalt), 5,1%, 5,6%, 6,1% and 6,6%. Varieties of rejuvenating agent are 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Specimen of asphalt pavement recycled testing by Marshall stability testing machine and volumetric analysis.The result of Marshall testing on Optimum Bitumen Content was found that increasing of rejuvenating agent content in asphalt recycling mix caused Marshall stability ,Marshall Immersion and Density Values were decrease. From Marshall stability value, maximum content of rejuvenating agent still required specification is 35,29% and from Marshall immersion value, maximum content of rejuvenating agent is 46,18%

Abstract

One of the PAD potential, which has not been deeply observed is retribution collection of parking area, whether on the road parking or on the parking area. The result of this study is showing that there is a promising potebtial from parking area of three of hospital observed as source of income if assumed that park is a time required by vehicle to enter and exit a long of 5 minutes, the income captured from these three hospital park areas will be around of Rp. 1,025,500,-/day or Rp. 369,180,000,-/year. But, if assumed that park is a time required by a vehicle of about 10 minutes to enter and exit, then the income resulted will be Rp. 971,000,-/day or Rp. 349,560,000,-/year

Abstract

The rapid economic activity in Kendari  is indicated by  development of  central business  Lippo Plaza in MT.Haryono Roads Kendari. However, the consequences of the development of the central business  LippoPlaza  have affected on the environment in the form of increased noise and air pollution. The aim  of thisstudy was to determine the level of noise and air pollution in the existing conditions, and to determine thelevel of noise simulation.  The method  used in this study for the noise calculations  was based on " The Bookof Calculation of Road Traffic Noise " published by the Department of Transport , Welsh Office , HMSO(1988), and the method of calculation of pollutant concentration  used  an equation developed by SitiMalkamah. The results of this study showed that the highest noise levels occur on Holidays / Saturday in Segment 2 (front Jl.MT.Haryono Lippo Plaza ) of 70.11 dB ( A ), this value is above the noise quality standardssuggested by No. KepMenLH . 48 in 1996 , which is 70 dB ( A ). In addition, the value also has  exceeded ofthe maximum allowed for trade in the region ( Zone C ) Regulation of the Minister of HealthNo.718/Men/Kes/XI/1987. Variables such as traffic volume is high and a large reflection angle, couldincrease noise, while low-speed, high barrier width and spacing can reduce the noise level.  For pollutantlevels, the value of 4065.33 μg/nm3 content of CO, NOx at 200-300 μg/nm3 , μg/nm3 PM at 0.0097 , stillbelow the National Ambient Air Quality Standards ( PP RI 41, 1999 ) , namely 30000 μg/nm3 , 400 and 150μg/nm3 μg/nm3. While the HC 400 and 700 μg/nm3 μg/nm3 has exceeded the standard of 160 μg/nm3 .Recommendation suggested to address the noise problem at Jl.MT . Haryono is the adoption of the CoreStrategy, which is the application of one direction on one arm of the intersection at peak hours , thusresulting intersection service level increases from E to C.Keywords: Noise Simulation, Pollutant Consentration Simulation

Abstract

The research aim is to procure lithology and depth rock that has water potentially contaned by using receptivity geolelectric of Shlumberger configuration. The project was conducted at the District of Beka which focused on 6 sample geoelectric points. Each point is restricted in the length area of 400 m. The geoelectric data processing was checked by available curve technique with helping inversion program. The processing based on responding of rock resistivity. Resistivity value of sand is between 3.5 and 11.5 Ohm-meter. Meaning that water potentially is available in the depth of around 40 m under land surface

Abstract

Research aim to monitoring and evaluating differences in spatial planning product that it arranged with existing conditions in Kabupaten Poso. The method was survey method with quantify analysis approach to different counts in spatial planning monitoring aspects in to three groups populations, land use, and space structures. Analysis result showed for all spatial planning monitoring aspects have very significant differences and have not relevant with spatial planning product in Kabupaten Poso condition, it also influenced by regional wide become two regions as Kabupaten Poso and Kabupaten Tojo Unauna, so spatial planning product must be totally revised.

Abstract

Aceh earthquake in 26 of December 2004 was changing the disaster risk management in Indonesia, particularly if it happened cause of seismic activity dan its secondary hazards, for instance : tsunami, landslide, debris flood and liquifaction, and made The Ministry of Public Work to initiated for revition the Indonesian Earthquake Map 2002 by invite the experts in earthquake. The result was translated in the Indonesian Seismic Zone Map 2010 and change Palu city particularly and  Sulawesi region, generally in high seismicity area with maximum magnitude in 7,9 Richter Scale. This map should made us to have prepareness for the risk possibility in immediate time by mitigation planning, one of the mitigation planning is Workmen training to build resinstantsimple houses from earthquake forconsumers safety and comfortability.The training coducted in 4 (four) steps, firstly :introduction and workmen groups choosing; secondly :programme explanation and socialization; thirdly : training center programme and lastly : monitoring and evaluation due to the result of training by visit workmen project and they could understanding and implementing the training moduls as well as possible.Keywords: Earthquake, Indoneisan Seismic Zone Map 2010, Workmen Training, City of Palu

Abstract

The development of agropolitan region is a sustainable development based on regional resources. Thedevelopment of agropolitan region is conducted by developing rural areas in terms of promoting the systemand works of a competitive, society based, sustainable, and decentralized agribusiness by utilizing theavailable resources. This work was conducted by developing an agropolitan regional planning in 2003.Three districts; Dolo, Sigi Biromaru, and Palolo has been chosen as the centre of development which wasdesignated as a new area. The three regions were hoped to stimulate and produce double effect fortriggering the development of the hinterland areas by utilizing their potency. Abstract

A house is a basic need for each family to reach a prosperity and familiy future. Physical of house is one of determining factor to get a healthy house. This paper, describe physical of a house of Palu Town inhibitant near Palu bay in 2003 in terms of city development and architectural rule. . The physical of a house which is observed such as : area of the house and yard, type of building material and house wall condition, type of slab and roof material, the existence of ventilation, lighting condition inside the house, and condition of drainage. The report is conducted through descriptive and analytical approach.
