Abstract

Quality of service is part of the services provided by the Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) library so that it matches the expectations and needs of visitors. There is not yet a system that can be used to measure service quality so that the process of measuring services is less than optimal. So it needs to be made a system that can be used to evaluate the quality of library services. The system was built using two methods in its development, namely the Libqual Method and the Fuzzy Tsukamoto Method by using a Likert scale from values 1 to 5. The Libqual method is used to measure the gap between perception and expectations with two calculations namely Adequancy Gap (AG) and Superiority Gap (SG) , in Fuzzy Tsukamoto there are four process processes, namely fuzzyfication, rule formation, inference and defuzzyfication machines which are used as ranking of each question on the questionnaire regarding service quality. Ranking aims to find out the question items about the quality of service that has the best value on a scale from small to large. The results of calculations using Libqual and Fuzzy Tsukamoto from three dimensions that exist in Libqual, Library as Place gets first rank with a value of 3,31 which is the most optimal service quality.

Abstract

Indonesia is the biggest maritime country that has big marine resources too. It needed a good strategy so the marine resource usage can be managed well. Now, it can be helped by using information technology. The purpose of this research is to create a Geographic Information System for knowing potential marine resources in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Coast. The result of this paper is a Geographic Information System that will runs in Android devices. The test results show 82,93% of users already satisfied with this application. It indicates that this application is in a Very Good category.

Abstract

In general, the college admission process is done through registration, file selection, examinations, an announcement of the results of students who pass, and ends with re-registration. In this case, a problem was found where there is a significant decrease in the number of student who register with those who re-register .Things like this can reduce the balance between new students and students who meet the requirements, to make a decrease in the quality of higher education and affect accreditation. Based on these problems, a classification method was developed to look for patterns of students who would enter institutions and what factors influence students to re-register.To improve the accuracy of the decision tree algorithm the author use adaptive boosting (adaboost) in finding factors that make prospective students continue to the re-registration process. From the results of the study, the AdaBoost-based decision tree algorithm shows that the level of accuracy has an increase of 20%. The presentation of results is as follows, 61.4% (decision tree); 91.35% (decision tree + AdaBoost)

Abstract

Drought is a natural disaster that occurs slowly and lasts a long time. Bantul and Gunung Kidul Regencies, Special Region of Yogyakarta are also areas affected by high drought risk. This happened because the area was the result of the construction of a cement factory and limestone mining along the Sewu Mountains. Prediction and classification of areas affected by drought can be done more accurately over large areas by extracting vegetation indices through remote sensing imagery. This research was conducted to provide information about the potential risk of drought in the region using Landsat 8 OLI spectral vegetation index data. Prediction or classification of drought potential using Artificial Neural Network. Vegetation index used in this study is NDVI, TCI, VCI, and VHI. Correlation results between vegetation indices showed the highest correlation occurred between the vegetation index TCI and VHI with the potential for a medium drought of 0.501 and the potential for a high drought of 0.684. Also obtained are the results of the classification of 9 villages that fall into the category of high drought potential (High Risk). Accuracy results and Kappa values indicate that Random Forest is the best method used with a breakdown of values of 99.91% and 99.81%, respectively. Spatial prediction results are performed using Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) on vegetation index and prediction. Testing of spatial relationships between villages that have the potential for drought is done using Moran s I. analysis.

Abstract

Agriculture is a pillar of the economy a nation, with the system and the implementation of good agricultural, so will go the nation economic. One of the causes of the lack of agricultural productivity in Indonesian that is some farmers in Indonesian still relied on climate change rain without blemish. Climate change has caused planting patterns the farmers, so that in the end agricultural products planted could not stable , any process planting .The instability caused the price of agricultural products to be very significant plant at a certain season. This is what causes the thing farmers have to produce more energy and the cost of extra do watering manually so that of the trees can grow fertile and can be harvest pakcoy especially in plants .To overcome the problems hence writers try to make sprinkler system plant with using microcontroller Wemos D1 R1 of experiment to the republic of Indonesian that in arable land plant with using soil moisture capacitive sensors that is going to be the moisture the ground in plants can be monitored over long distances through the android application named Blynk. The system will shut when discharging is out of danger at the boundary moisture expected means of sensors the humidity and turn off water pump.

Abstract

Geographically Semarang regency as one of the regencies in Central Java province has an area of 95,020.67 hectares. In this study, the sub-district areas in Semarang regency is calculated using Circle Approach method and Karney s Polygon method using Google Earth and GADM database in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates. The results of the study show that the land area of 19 districts in Semarang regency is 11.61% more than of the reference areas based on the coordinates of the latitude and longitude on Google Earth using the circle approach method. While the percentage for the area referring to GADM data using the Karney s Polygon method is 9.71% more than of the reference areas and the difference is 13.55% more than the reference areas using Circle Approach. The results of the three comparisons show that GADM data using the Karney s Polygon method can produce better results than other methods.

Abstract

A Higher education in the digital era as it is now common to use IT technology (Information Technology) in supporting their daily activities, but the use of IT raises a problem that is serious enough if there is no support and no further management this is only produce a data noise , Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) has implemented an IT-based academic information system, in use of this information systems by time this systems produce a lot of data in the unissula academic database and this data is monotonous data and not clustered or also called data noise data that overlap without any benefit and information further in it, the purpose of this study is to solve the problem of these data into student performance data based on the GPA from semester 1 to semester 4 and make it to be a best data to support an alternative decision by the leader, this study uses the method of datamining and k-means algorithms, k-means algorithm is very good to be used as a solution for problems related to clustering, k-means algorithm is an algorithm that is unsupervised and the data can be adjusted by its self according to its class, the results of this study are a decision support system for grouping academic data in the form of dashboard information systems.

Abstract

Prediction of student satisfaction with academic services needs to be done to evaluate the performance of higher education institutions in the academic field, especially at Pandanaran University. In this study, using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm data mining method in classifying student data through a questionnaire on aspects of tangible, reliability, assurance, responsiveness and empathy. The results of classifying student data using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm produce a decision tree model with an accuracy value of 87.92% and AUC 0.990.

Abstract

The increasing of digital technology today has helped many people to fulfill their needs. But the election system, still conventionally using paper in its implementation. Elections in general still use a centralized system, where there is an organization that manages it. Some of the problems that may occur in traditional electoral systems are that there are organizations that have full control over the database and system, so the possibility of hacking the database is quite a big opportunity.Blockchain innovation is one arrangement that can be utilized in light of the fact that it has a decentralized framework and the whole database is duplicated by all clients. Blockchain itself has been used by Bitcoin and Ethereum cryptocurrency which is known as a decentralized system. By using the blockchain in database recording on an e-voting system can reduce one source of fraud that is database manipulation. This study discusses the recording of voting data using blockchain technology. The implementation of Smart Contracts contained in the Ethereum Blockchain will be implemented to create this voting system
