Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to analyze the influence of investment opportunities, leverage on the dividend policy and the value of the company on the companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Variables used in this research is an investment opportunity, leverage, dividend policy and the value of the company. The population used in this study are manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2012 period. The samples in this study using purposive sampling with a sample of 170 manufacturing firms. Based on pre-defined criteria, only 34 companies were eligible to be sampled. Statistical analyzes were used to examine the effect of investment opportunities, leverage on the dividend policy and the value of the company is the analysis of pathways that can explain the relationship between the variables, both directly and indirectly. The results of this study indicate that the investment opportunity to have a direct influence on the value of the company, but the investment opportunities through dividend policy has no effect on firm value. Leverage does not have a direct effect on firm value, but leverage through dividend policy has no effect on firm value. Dividend policy has no direct effect on firm value.Keywords: investment opportunities, leverage, dividend policy and the value of the company.

Abstract

Abstract. Research carried out at the Secretariat of the Natuna Islands Area with the aim to find out theinfluence of the ability and commitment to employee motivation and performance.The type of data inthis study consists of primary data and secondary data collection technique using a detailedquestionnaire and interview. As for the population in this study consisted of 153 people while thesample as much as 111 people selected by cluster sampling and the sampling purpossive. Analysis toolused is fath analysis using program SPSS 17 for windows.he results showed that the ability of a positiveand significant effect against the motivation, commitment and significant positive effect againstmotivation. The ability of a positive and significant effect on performance, commitment and significantpositive effect on performance, motivation and significant positive effect on performance, the ability ofan indirect positive and significant effect on performance through motivation, commitment an indirectpositive and significant effect on performance through motivation.Keywords : Ability, Commitment and Motivation, performance.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze whether training, physical work environment, andleadership affect job satisfaction in improving employee performance. The study was conducted atFederal International Finance, Riau Area.Data used consist of primary and secondary data. The data was collected using questionnairesand documents given to a sample of 213 employees of Federal International Finance, Riau Area.Sample determination made use of the Slovin formulation. Sampling was done using Stratified RandomSampling. Analysis was conducted using the two stage least square model, while hypothesis testing wasconducted using multiple regression and simple regression using SPSS (Statistical Program For SocialSciences) 17.0 for Windows.Multiple regression tests show that the variables of training, physical work environment andleadership have a significant effect on job satisfaction of employees at Federal International Finance,Riau area, with t count (t count = 8286 > t table = 1,652) for training, (t count = 2,709 > t table =1,652) for physical work environment, and (t count = 7867 > t table = 1,652) for leadership. Simplelinear regression tests show that job satisfaction has a significant and positive impact on employeeperformance, with a t count (t count = 10,739 > t table 1,652).In conclusion, this study shows that training should be considered by management as a meansto not only develop employee skills and abilities, but also increase employee satisfaction. A goodphysical work environment should also be considered to make employees comfortable in performingwork and responsibilities. Lastly, leadership should be utilized to maintain employee satisfaction, andenable employees to provide good performance for the progress of the company in the future.Keywords: Training, Physical Work Environment, Leadership, Job Satisfaction and EmployeePerformance

Abstract

Abstract. This paper primarily aims to investigate the seasonality of weekly and monthly stock returnsin an emerging stock market of Indonesia. Evidence on return seasonality and January effect wouldhave important implications for investment strategies to gain abnormal returns and it would invalidatethe paradigm of the efficient markets hypothesis. For the period 2010 -2014, daily returns on theIndonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are employed. Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya anomali montly effectdi BEJ. analysis using two statistical analysis, test analysis of two average difference using independentsample t test and simple linear regression analysis.we found no evidence of Weekly and monthly seasonality as well as January effect in the IDX returns.These results indicate that investors cannot take any advantage of information about the month of theyear when investing in the ASE to gain abnormal returns. On other words, these new findings indicatethat investors in the IDX should not consider the seasonal effects when constructing their portfolio.Key Word: Indonesia stock exchange, Anomaly, Monthly Effect

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted at the Regional Employment Board of Riau Province tothe employee who is a government agency that serves as the institution in the field of personnel in theRiau Provincial Government structure. The population in this study were all employees of the RegionalEmployment Board of Riau province, amounting to 129 people. Determination of the number ofsamples is done by sampling saturated sampling technique when all members of the population used asa sample, in order to obtain the data sample of 129 respondents. The analysis tool used is multiplelinear regression analysis using SPSS 16.From the test results have shown that the variable career planning and placement significantlyinfluence the commitment and the commitment of the variables affect the performance of employees ofthe Regional Employment Board of Riau Province. Simultaneously result that career plan ning andplacement significant effect on commitment.With regard to three (3) This variable is career planning, placement and commitment, then the agencyshould pay attention to the indicators in order to improve employee performance. In terms of careerplanning needs to be improved is in the form of implementation of the terms of the ability of technicaltraining for employees in order to improve its performance. In terms of placement to note is theeducational background and interests of employees on work given to avoid mistakes in the work. Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted to the General Secretariat employee of Riau Province which is agovernment agency that serves as the administrative agency in Riau Province Government structure.The purpose of this study is to determine how much the direct and indirect influence of supervision andorganizational climate on employee motivation and discipline of the General Bureau of ProvincialSecretariat of Riau. The population in this study were all employees in the General Bureau ofProvincial Secretariat of Riau which amount to 156 people. Determination of the sample number wasconducted using Slovin method so 112 respondents were selected through the appropriate randomsampling. The analysis tool used is the path analysis using SPSS 20. The research shows that thesupervision and organizational climate variables have no significant effect directly to employee’sdiscipline, while the motivation variable gives significant effect on employee’s discipline. Indirectly,supervision and organizational climate variables significantly affect on employee’s discipline andmotivation as an intervening variable. Thinking about these three variables, such as supervision,organizational climate and motivation, then the agency should pay attention to the indicators in orderto improve employee’s discipline. In the supervision side, thing needs to be improved is the feedbacksupervision and performance evaluation which are more objective. In organizational climate side, thingneeds to be focused is a superior and subordinate relationship that still looks a little stiff. In motivationside, thing needs to be improved is the provision of opportunities for employees to be more active inappreciating the ideas.Keywords: Supervision, Organizational Climate, Motivation and Work Discipline

Abstract

Abstract. The core activities of a school or class is Teaching and Learning. Often appearing various complaints or criticism of the students, parents or teachers with regard to the implementation of the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to Fix Teacher Teaching Style in the management class that ultimately can improve the effectiveness of teaching. The expected correlation teaching style situational leadership and the level of readiness of students collectively affect the teachers role as a leader in learning and as its outcome is the effectiveness of teaching. The research was conducted from May till July 2015, at SMA Negeri 85 West Jakarta. Data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation analysis with significance level of 5% and multiple regression analysis. Because the four variables produce alpha values above 0.500, it is stated reliable research instruments. The results showed that: the strongest correlation to the teachers role as a leader with the level of preparedness of students in learning by 0,778, effectiveness of teaching to the level of readiness of students in learning by 0,692, the situational leadership style of teaching to the level of preparedness of students in learning by 0,672 and Effectiveness of teaching with the teachers role as the leader of 0,607. It can be concluded that there is positive and significant correlation between teaching style situational leadership and the level of readiness of students collectively affect the teachers role as a leader in the effectiveness of learning. With the research is expected to improve the teaching style of teachers in classroom management and improve the effectiveness of teaching.Keywords:Teaching style situational leadership, maturity / readiness of students and teaching effectiveness

Abstract. This study aimed to analyze the quality of service and innovation to the corporate image andcustomer loyalty at PT. Bank Riau Riau Islands. The instrument used for data collection was aquestionnaire. The study population was all customers of PT. Bank Riau Riau Islands who have savings,current accounts or deposits, amounting to 421 545 people. The sample in this study was obtained 196people. Data were analyzed using SEM analysis. The calculations show that the quality of service has adirect effect significant and positive impact on company image, innovation has a direct effect notsignificant and positive impact on Corporate Image, Quality of Service has a direct effect significant andpositive impact on Customer Loyalty, Innovation has no significant direct effect and positive impact onCustomer Loyalty, Corporate Image has a direct influence significant and positive impact on theCustomer Loyalty.Keywords: Quality of Service, Innovation, Corporate Image and Customer Loyalty.

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of Relationship Marketing consisting ofEconomic Content, Resource Content, Social Content toward customer satisfaction and loyalty In PTBank Riau Kepri Branch Of Teluk Kuantan. The instrument used for data collection was aquestionnaire. The study population was all customers which saving in PT Bank Riau Kepri Branch OfTeluk Kuantan totaling 1263 people. The sample in this study is based on using Taro Yamane formulaobtained by 115 people. Data were analyzed using path analysis.The calculations show that theEconomic Content, Resource Content, Social Content has a direct effect significant and positive impacton satisfaction, Economic Content has a direct effect significant and positive impact on loyal ty,Economic Content through the satisfaction of a significant impact in improving loyalty, ResourceContent has no significant direct effect and positive impact on loyalty, satisfaction Resource Contentthrough a significant impact in improving loyalty, Social Content has no significant direct effect andpositive impact on loyalty, Social Content through the satisfaction of a significant impact in increasingloyalty, and satisfaction has a direct influence a significant and positive impact on loyalty.Keywords: Relational Marketing, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty.
