Abstract

Pesantren is an educational institution, a pleace for deepeningreligious knowledge of Islam, with the aim of being a cadre of moslemscholars (ulama), leaders of ummah and the leaders of the Nation. Pasantrenis unique in the learning approach and outlook on life, the level of sharedvalues, the structure of the division of authority and all aspects of educationand other community. Other Islamic educational institutions, such as, themadrassa that stood on the initiative and realization of the Islamic reform,that is, the influence of Islamic reform in the Middle East, Western educationand the traditions of Islamic education in Indonesia. The renewal includesthree things: Improvements pesantren education system, adjustments tothe Western education system, and madiation between traditionalpesantren education system and the Western education system.

Abstract

Today, the translation of the concept of tauhid, often only beinterpreted as a form of oneness of Allah SWT. Whereas conception of tauhidcould be articulated more extensive and comprehensive. One of them is theconcept put forward by Dr. H. Abdul Karim Amrullah contained in an articleentitled “Hanya Allah” written around 1943. He established a school of thestudy of Islam begins with small classes at Surau Jembatan Besi PadangPanjang. Education in surau evolved into Sumatra Thawalib . At that time,Thawalib Sumatra Padang Panjang is organized as a modern educationalinstitution with a structured curriculum. But he also did not separate thecommunity life: social, economic, and politic, so that graduates are notawkward in the face of society. This educational products that can bereflected in the present, so that the building concept of aqidah (tauhid) isnot only interpreted as the oneness of Allah SWT. as the only God is worthyof worship. But it also brings logical consequence of human proclamationas khalifatullah fil ardh (vicegerent on earth) that is ready for the welfare ofthe earth and its contents.

Abstract

The existence of a motivation is very important for an organizationto maximize the effectiveness and productivity levels. Therefore, many ofthe figures that explain the concept of motivation, including McClelland,Tery, Abraham Sperling and Robert A Baron. In an effort to improve theefficiency and effectiveness of institutions, personnel productivity get themost attention from several parties. Personnel could process the brainactively and be agile, have advanced desire, high curiosity, energetic,systematic analysis, open to receive opinions, high initiative, and the broadmind focused. Motivation is a condition that drives self-directed of personnelto achieve the objectives of the institution. it is a main state in a person thatencourage, activate and move the behavior on goal. Therefore Motivationhas a very close relationship with intention. Intention in Islam has twofunctions, authorize the acts of worship. And differ a worship activitiesand which doesn’t. This Papers discuss the concepts of personnal motivationand associat it with the Islamic Education, this paper concluded thatpersonal motivation is the process of influencing and encouraging a personto complete the desired goals and to create the passion of one’s work to getthem to cooperate. and in Islamic education, personal motivation in doingof duty is an act of worship.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling is one of the division in schools that helpstudents who are facing problems in school, including students' learningproblems. Learning difficulties is one of the most common issues amongstudents. This study aims to investigate the implementation of Guidanceand Counseling in overcoming learning difficulties. This research is aqualitative descriptive study, which used some data collection techniques:interview, observation and documentation. While the data analysistechnique used is descriptive analysis to describe the conditions ofGuidance and Counseling in MTs.N Ponorogo in overcoming learningdifficulties. Analysis of data used Miles and Huberman’s data analysis.The subjects were students of class VIII MTs.N Ponorogo, Guidance andCounseling Teachers, Principals, and Master of Class. The results of thisstudy indicate that factors that affect students' learning difficulties are twofactors, it is inside and outside factors. Inside factors such as health,interest to the subjects, intelligence, motivation and mood of student.While external factors include state of the school environment, familycircumstances, school environment, and technology. Implementation ofguidance and counseling to prevent students' learning difficulties areovercome difficulties in understanding himself; overcome difficulties inunderstanding environment that includes school environment, family andwider community; overcome difficulties in identifying and solvingproblems; overcome difficulties in performing their abilities, interests andtalents and guide them to choose the employment that appropriate.Preventing method of Guidance and Counseling in overcoming learningdifficulties including motivate students, directing and guiding students inovercoming learning difficulties, and explains the steps of learning.

Abstract

This article discusses about Islamic education in relation to dakwahand thalabul ilmi. Although it is actually a common issue that has been sostrong in views of society, then the discussion is to intended to reaffirm. Butmore than that, try to do a new meaning to the concept of dakwah andthalabul ‘ilmi, in relation to Islamic education. on the one hand, this is doneto avoid the wrong understanding and counterproductive activity. on theother hand, to maximize the Islamic education’s role in the development ofthe people and the development of civilization. In the context of dakwah,education means success in the underlying human life to enter a period ofproductivity and Creativity. While in the context of thalabul ‘ilmi, educationis more than just teach science, but create the true learner, developer ofscience, even the inventor of the theory and methodology in a variety ofscience. So, thalabul ‘ilmi has significance in answering the challenges ofscience, even preparing to build civilization.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the substance of the material in the methodof learning the Quran tsaqifa. This method is specifically designed for adultswho have not been able to read the Quran or who never learned and stillverbatim read. In addition, the method also put a target on the learner inorder to quickly be able to read the Quran. Therefore, in this research, theauthor tries to re-examine whether the method is rapid, promising thecontent of what is taught is completely in accordance with the rules ofArabic writing is good and right. This study shows that the materialsubstance of this method known arabic (hijaiyah) approach Indonesiantranslation or Latin letters. However, the use of transliteration standardyet to implement them, like the letter “qo” written “ko” letter “sho” written“so”. In addition, there is also a writing error dot on the letter, such letter“ta” which should dot two above letter, written under the letter. It is perhapsworth noting because if wrong in awarding a point it will be wrong in thepronunciation. Nevertheless, the overall method is already making a positivecontribution to learning to read the Quran. Kedepanya expected to appearnew methods in reading the Koran rather comprehensive. Not merelyconcerned with the ability to read quickly, but also pay attention to thesubstance of the material well.

Abstract

Education is a strategic pattern to improve the quality of a nation.moreover, the future and progress of a nation can be measured by the qualityof education. Because through education, science transformation processcan continue from generation to generation. Even through from education,improvement of human resources can be maximized. One of the importantfactor that determines the success of an educational process is an educatoror teacher. Abstract

This research is aimed to know the method of University of Darussalam Gontor to develop student’s soft skill and to know the factors that support and hinder the development of soft skills of students methods Unida Gontor Mantingan. This research included in the qualitative study with extending the data collected as scope for this study and field for this research (field research).The characteristic from the study more closer toward on study cases, because the object of its research, UNIDA students in the Business Management Faculty on Management Program in Mantingan Campus. Data collected by using a documentation technique, observation and interview. All the data that has been collected by regulated techniques, tried to sorted, grouped and categorized so that it can be found the theme in accordance with the development soft skills methode for UNIDA students. Based on the results of the researchers analyses concluded that method which are applied in soft skills development on unida students is briefing, the assignment, training, habituation, exemplary, escort and humanity. with the humanity approach, program and idialisme. So the students ready to face life in communities. While the supporting factors, is independence, a strong leadership, environmentalists who support advisory, and infrastructure and their partnership with various institutions. The resistor factors including the lack of awareness of some students of the importance activities held by UNIDA which is in the classroom, dormitory and society.

Abstract

Spreading religious educational message was Islamic mission to overspread the kindness in this modern era. In the modern era the communication of technology and information would be owned by everyone. We are as muslim, we can put the islamic values in the communication technology and information. And one of medium did the people like is the music, because the music has the fervency and harmony. it could make influenced the listeners by emotional through the lyric. One of the popular music in this era is “Despacito”. Originally, this Spanish song has the uneducation purpose, and Gen Halilintar had changed the lyric by Islamic values be source of Al-Qur’an and Hadits. The purpose of this research is to know the religious educational message and to know the Islamic values in Despacito lyric by Gen Halilintar. The analysis method that used in this research was semiotic analysis by Roland Barthes, because the researcher used more text and the analysed by the sign and signed with connotation and denotation form by sourcing Al-Qur’an and Hadits. The output from this process of writing is we get three main of Religious Educational Message there are The faith, Islamic law and the morals.

Abstract

The rules of conduct for teachers is one of the important elements in Islamic education. It is closely associated with the effort to the realization of a quality education and an effective teaching. This article presents the personal domain in this topic as elaborated by Imam Abū Ḥanīfah in his educational treatises, namely al-‘Ālim wa al-Muta‘allim, Waṣiyyah Abī Ḥanīfah li Abī Yūsuf, Waṣiyyah Abū Ḥanīfah li Ibnihi Ḥammād, and Waṣiyyah Abū Ḥanīfah ilā Tilmīdhihi Yūsuf bin Khālid al-Samtī al-Baṣrī. The authors found that there are seven elements in personal domain suggested by Abū Ḥanīfah in his educational treatises. These elements namely, sincerely in learning and teaching; pay attention in improving the deeds of taqwa, worship, fasting and reciting al-Quran; plan wisely in managing time, avoiding less important matters, optimizing learning, and self-esteem; being aware of God's attention, feeling the sufficiency of His gift, living in khauf (fear) and rajā '(hopefully) and kind thoughts about Him; keeping dignity and acting as a teacher by doing good things and be modest in every business; avoid bad and vain actions and always be enthusiastic in performing a job as a teacher. These elements are very important in teachers’ profession. This study is also intended to reveal this topic based on Islamic scholar thought in order to formulate the professional code of ethics for Islamic teachers and to solve ethical problems nowadays.
