Abstract

Every language is rich with vocabulary and its diversity is consistent with human experience and the development of the culture in which it grows and develops. Every language has its own way in determining the system of symbols and meaning. This will cause the problems in translation. Arabic for example, as the language of Al-Qur'an, has characters structures that different from the Indonesian. It makes the interpreter must know about the process of reconstructing the source language into the target language, because every language has a different way of expressing a similar message. The difference could be at lexical level and grammatical level. From the literature review it can be concluded that basically the process of translation consists of two stages: (1) original textual analysis and understanding of meaning and / or original text message and (2) the revelation of the meaning and message in the target language in words or acceptable sentences in the target language. Differences in the choice of lexical and grammatical forms from one language and other languages makes an interpreter have to be careful in translating. It makes the parallel equivalence of form and meaning is difficult to find in translation.

Abstract

There are so many languages spoken by every community in the world today. This requires everyone to mastery various languages to facilitate the communication between members of one group to others. Because it would be a problem if members of one group communicate with one other member of the group but they do not understand each other, especially in the content of the message that delivered. Then we need translation to solve that issue. Translation is the process of transferring text messages of the source language into the target language. The practical purpose of the message diversion process is to assist the target language text reader in understanding the message intended by the original author of the source language text. This assignment assigns the translator to a very important position in disseminating science and technology. When science and technology are understood as part of a culture, indirect translators participate in the process of cultural transfer. Translating is not pure science and not pure art. Translating is a practical art. In other words, translating is the artistic skill with the help of theoretical sciences.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the paradigm of Islamic Science based on the logic of the universal verses. Using the literature research method, qualitative research approach and philosophical analysis. Interaction between religion and science can be seen through several perspectives that include Islamization of science, Islamic scientification, Integration of interconnection (paradigm of Indonesian science). While science-based Al-Qur'an can be divided into three, namely Modern Science, Islamic Science and the logic of the universal verses. This study also found that Islamic Science can be built from the Qur'an as the basis of scientific epistemology. Revelation as a source that provides inspiration for the construction of science. This new Ijtihad is a project of civilization and progress of Islam, because it awakens to Muslims about the importance of kauniyah verses that have been forgotten. The logic of the universal verses proposes an "Islamic Science" approach which science is constructed based on the inspiration of God's revelation as a source of inspiration for the building of science. Islamic science not only combines or matches Science and Revelation, but with its interaction with philosophy. This is where it is hoped that science that comes from the revelation of the Qur'an will continue to grow, but not separated from religious values.

Abstract

One of the superiority of the Al-Qur'an is the accuracy of the meaning of words. And to understand the true meaning of the structure of the Qur'an can be done by detecting the phenomenon of language, including the phenomenon of equations and the relationship between the meaning of words. The equation of meaning in the Al-Qur’an is a broad subject, so it takes great effort in analyzing the meaning of synonyms, the most important being the analysis of the original meaning to the analysis of the structure context, and the semantic relationship between the two. The semantic relationship is the basis of communication and understanding among members of human society and in understanding the meaning of the words of the Al-Qur'an, this is the essence of linguistics and what is the purpose of the study of sound, morphology and grammar. This research takes words that have synonyms as an example of research, namely الدين ,الملة  , العلم and  المعرفة. The researcher's view that the words " الدين" and " الملة" indicate shari'a and obedience to God, which is a kind of cognitive meaning, Science is more general than knowledge, whether related to truth, goodness, al-Qur'an, livelihood, kindness, , and mind. The effect of the semantic relationship between synonyms is the interpreter's understanding, which is a linguistic influence. We see that interpreters begin to simultaneously articulate words, synonyms, meanings, widening meanings, narrowing meanings, linguistic differences, verbal joints, derivatives and the context. Includes curriculum for al-Zamzhari, al-Tabri and Ragheb al-Asfahani.
