Abstract

One of the psychotheraphy approaches that has given positive contributions to the psychiatry is Carl Rogers Client-Centered approach. One of three main conditions that Rogers emphasizes in the approach is Unconditional positive regard. The main condition is called as the curative factor of client-centered theraphy. The article is discussing the study process of unconditional positive regard concept in a person which the sample is the female students. Questions and process flow scheme are also discussed in this article. The study concept is regarded to be able to contribute knowedge to the counseling practitioners in case of facing the student’s problem.

Abstract

Challenges of living and dynamics modern society has spawned complex problems experienced by individuals. Counseling process with a variety formats attempt to develop the optimization of the individual. The development of the counseling process format formed a variety of alternative media that are capable to accommodating the communication process between the counselor and the client. The Media creates an atmosphere of counseling in long-distance (distance) condition has some advantages as well as disadvantages. One of the distance counseling forms is counseling online. With one form of service with fairly new developments, online counseling has had a significant positive impact on easing the client's problems. But on the other hand, this service also has some weaknesses that must be understood and controlled, especially for a counselor. This manuscript uses a documentary study approach on ethical conditions, counseling issues in Indonesia and discusses some of the ethical issues that must be understood by counselors during the process of online counseling in keeping some of the important principles in the counseling process.

Abstract

Objective was to determine (a) the application of the method vibration audio tactile (VAT) in improving language skills expressive deaf students in SLB Somba Opu Gowa, (b) the ability to speak expressively before and after the application of the method vibration audio tactile (VAT) students deaf SLB class VIII in Somba Opu Gowa. This research is a kind of experiment subjects tungal (Sangle Subject Researct). This study design is the type A-B-A. Research subjects SMPLB eighth grade students of the Deaf in SLB Somba Opu Gowa. The collection of data obtained through the test works with deskriktif analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the intervention application of audio tactile vibration method (VAT) could increase the ability of class VIII berbahasaekspresif SMPLB deaf in SLB Somba Opu Gowa. Results obtained at baseline phase 1 (A-1) prior to the application of audio tactile vibration method (VAT), and after application of audio tactile vibration method (VAT) or baseline phase 2 (A-2) obtained by ability level value rises  26% or 88% level. The results obtained by the students can be concluded that the application of the method of audio tactile vibration affect the increase in expressive language skills in deaf students in SLB Somba Opu Gowa

Abstract

Development research was conducted at SMPN 1 Enrekang with 10 research subject. The problem of the study was students still have low achievement motivation. The study aimed at (1) examining student needs analysis, (2) producing acceptable tutoring model on the aspects of usefulness, feasibility, an accuracy, and (3) examining the effectiveness of tutoring model to enhance achievement motivation. The study employed research and development approach. The development procedure referred to Borg and Gall’s. Data were collected through interview, direct observation, and questionnaire. Data of the study were analyzed qualitatively. The tutoring guideline had been tested by three expert and confirmed as feasible, accepted, and could be tested to the students. Thus, the results of the study were (1) low achievement motivation of the student, (2) produce acceptable tutoring model on the aspects of usefulness, feasible, and accuracy, and (3) the learning guidance model was effective to enhance students’ achievement motivation in SMPN 1 Enrekang.

Abstract

The research is amimed to know whether or not the application of sociodrama is abe to enhance conflict resolution skill towards the street children community in Kendari. This reserch was quantitaitve research using experimental approach. The experimental research design used is pre-experimental design in the form of one group pre-test-posterst design. The data collection used is scale, observation, and FGD (Focus Group Discussion) . The population in the research is 42 people. The sample in the research consisted of 12 people. The sampling in the research used is nonprobskill sampling with sampling purposive technique. The data of the research was analyzed quantitatively using Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The findings shows that sociodrama was able to enhance the conflict resolution skill towards the street children community in Kendari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine metacognition skills possessed by students. The study used phenomenology research model. Subjects of this study are counseling and guidance students who follow the statistical course of the 2010-2014 class. Data were collected by conducting interviews and through qualitative questionnaires. Further data is analyzed by phenomenology analysis technique. The result of the study can be concluded that the student tendency has negative metacognition skills and some students have positive metacognition skills.

Abstract

Outbound method is the most effective method to meet the requirements in regarding a training result. The method is effective to build comprehension of a concept and build individual personality such as honesty and integrity. The caracter will continously apply and become a person with a better personality. The research objective is to know the honest and integrity character’s description of the awardee of Bidik Misi in Educational Study Faculty of State University of Makassar (FIP UNM) before and after having the CEt through outbound and to know the effect of CEt through outbound in increasing honest and integrity characters of the awardee of Bidik Misi in Educational Study Faculty of State University of Makassar (FIP UNM). The research is a quantitave research, pre-experimental using One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The findings is Character Education Training (CEt) through Putbound Training is effective to increase the honest and integrity characters of the awardee of Bidik Misi in Educational Study Faculty of State University of Makassar (FIP UNM).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between family functioning juvenile delinquency. This study used 120 subjects students in SMK N 4 Pekanbaru, research data were collected using two scales, the scale of family function and delinquency with item number 53. Sampling in this study using non probabilitis sampling techniques, data analysis using product moment, with the help of SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Based on the analysis found that there is a negative relationship between family functioning juvenile delinquency, the correlation p = -0.590 0.000. Then the hypothesis is accepted, meaning the lower the higher the family function of juvenile delinquency and conversely the higher the lower a family function of juvenile delinquency

Abstract

Social intelligence is intelligence that includes group interaction and closely related with social skills. Social intelligence on students in need of assistance in development, including through education programs in schools. The phenomenon is occurring today, school programs tend to be more focused on helping students develop academic potential, and often ignore the development aspects of social intelligence. Students are learn how a good way of learning to pass exams while efforts to improve the social aspect is still limited. A result that occurs from these conditions include: frequent disputes between students, fighting between the school, the low capacity of cooperation in learning activities and daily life, and low empathy. Guidance and counseling as a vehicle to help the personality development of students as a whole, has an important role in developing social intelligence of students through a systematic and continuous. That requires a wide range of supporting components, such as structured programs both annual program and daily programs, guides the implementation of a clear, material services arranged by the theoretical basis of social intelligence, guide the evaluation of specific measures social intelligence, as well as teachers' guidance and counseling/counselor have specific competence in performing services for the development of students' social intelligence.

Abstract

This research used qualitative approach, it is a case study using interview, observation, and doumentation as the technique in data collection. The research subject had been chosen through purposing sampling. The data was analyzed using triangulation technique and member checked. The findings shows that (i) The factors caused NAPZA abused to the first subject are the individual personality and peer. Whilst the factors caused NAPZA abused in the second subject are family (broken home family) and the environment. (ii) Napza abused caused negative impact to the physical, phsycological, social and spiritual of a person that can affect the learning achievement to both subjects in school. (iii) The guidance and counseling teacher treatment to both subjects that had already got NAPZA abused was done through giving information, individual counseling, home visit and do sweeping. However, those treatments had not been suceessfully applicable because NAPZA cases should get more serious attention in the way we give treatment. As the result we need a professional and representative therapy and rehablitation center
