Abstract

Local tax revenue is the largest source of local revenue. Conditions in Ponorogo Regency in the local tax revenue sector have decreased in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government must prepare a strategy and design to recover lost tax revenues in 2020. Projections are made to find out the amount of local tax revenue, especially in Ponorogo Regency in the coming 2022-2026. This study aims to calculate and project the value of regional tax revenue for Ponorogo Regency in 2022-2026 and design activities so that these projections can be fulfilled. Secondary data obtained from the Office of Revenue, Financial Management and Regional Assets of Ponorogo Regency. The largest revenue from the Regional Tax for Ponorogo Regency in 2013-2021 is land and building taxes with a total of 250,443,706,350 and the lowest is the groundwater tax post which only reaches 1,862,439,630. However, after making projections for 2022-2026 the largest tax post occurs in total hotels with a value of 6,072,824,558 and the lowest tax post occurs with a parking tax of 722,938,090. The value of the highest tax item has changed in the hotel tax post as well as the hidden tax item in the parking tax which has changed in its entirety from before the projection was carried out. So it is necessary to renew new activity programs in order to increase tax items that are still low and maintain tax items that are already large.

Abstract

The Indonesian Railway Industry (INKA) has increased its export production, especially to other developing countries such as Bangladesh, the Philippines, and others. Since 2018, Indonesia has explored the railway industry market in Africa. However, several challenges such as market competition with China and Europe, the distance between Indonesia and Africa, as well as the purchasing power of the African region with the majority of developing and less developed countries are important notes for Indonesia's strategy. This research will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and strategies of INKA in exporting trains in the African region. The analysis of this research uses international trade politics through the Pure Exchange Model of Trade and Strategic Trade Policy. The Pure Exchange Model of Trade is used to explain INKA's position in international trade to understand INKA's opportunities and challenges in Africa. Meanwhile, Strategic Trade Policy is used to describe Indonesia's strategy in advancing the Indonesian Railway Industry in Africa. The results of the study show that Indonesia provides support through a series of policies such as subsidies and diplomacy to obtain projects in Africa. In the process, INKA experienced challenges such as intense competition. However, many opportunities are presented by INKA in terms of the quality factor and the government's persuasive ability.

This can be seen from the increase in the price of goods, the reduced interest from consumers or customers, the uncertain income of fishermen and farmers caused by changes in weather, the cost of children's education and the cost of other household needs. From this problem, if the fishing communities and their farmers only rely on their basic work, then they can only pay for their daily meals and cannot save money to pay for their children's education. so that women take on a dual role that is needed in the family, namely as a side job to help husbands in meeting all the economic needs of the family.

Abstract

Based on BPS data, Kaligua tourism experienced a decrease in visitors in 2020 of 68,110 people, down to 64,325 in 2021. And it will drop again in 2022 to 51,587. This indicates a decrease in income for Kaligua tourism objects even though this sector is very important because it has a role in the economy. Against the backdrop of the current problems, it appears that the tourism sector plays a very important role in economic growth, and the growth of new tourist destinations has led to increasingly fierce competition between tourist sites to attract tourists to visit. On the other hand, services in tourism management in terms of serving tourists are not yet good. The purpose of this research is to develop a strategy that can increase the number of tourist visits in Kaligua tourism. Kaligua Tourism continues to experience a decline in visitors from 2020 to 2022, so research is needed to formulate the right strategy to increase visitors to Kali Cave tourism. This research was conducted to determine the effect of penetration pricing and consumer motivation on the decision to visit Kaligua tourism. Data were obtained through interviews. 97 Respondents who have already visited Kaligua tourism will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, and the results will be tested through smart PLS. It is hoped that this research will be able to become the basis and reference for Kaligua tourism in determining the right strategy to increase Kaligua tourism visitors.

Abstract

The focus of this paper is on zakat on business entities and its tax treatment, whether the zakat clause as a deduction from taxable income regulated in Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning zakat management and Law Number 36 of 2008 concerning the Fourth Amendment to Law Number 7 of 1983 concerning Income Tax affects taxable income and income tax that must be paid by the company. The research approach is a case study where the sampling business entities are companies engaged in property services whose income tax calculation is final and companies in the trading sector whose tax calculation uses the tariff of article 17 of the Income Tax Law. The results of the study provide legal certainty for business entities that pay zakat and become input for government policy in the management of zakat and taxation. If zakat payment is recognized as a deduction, it can encourage more active zakat payment and increase the contribution of zakat to state revenue. However, if zakat payment is not recognized, business entities may face higher tax burden which has implications on their financial planning. This research contributes to the understanding of zakat and taxation in Indonesia and has implications for the legal framework and tax regulations.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy requires strengthening the consumer experience. This research was conducted by examining the relationship between digital economy security when shopping on ecommerce, output quality, customer utility, and the intention to recommend ecommerce to others. The survey was conducted at one of the ecommerce sites in Indonesia, namely Shopee, to test the above relationship and as many as 225 Shopee consumers were involved in the survey. The data collection method used in the study was to distribute questionnaires directly to the respondents. The collected data was then analyzed with a structural equation model. The results of the analysis show that digital economy security when shopping on ecommerce and output quality has a positive and significant effect on customer utility. Furthermore, customer utility has a significant positive effect on consumer recommendations. The results of this analysis indicate that ecommerce must always maintain transaction security and the quality of the output offered so as to provide utility to customers. This utility is important for the development of ecommerce because it encourages customers to recommend the ecommerce to other consumers.
