Abstract

Poverty in Indonesia is a complex and multidimensional problem, because poverty levels can be an indicator of success for the country in terms of both its development and economy. This is an important point for the government to predict or predict poverty so that it can provide a more appropriate alternative. Based on this problem, a method is needed, namely using the forecasting method (Forcasting). In this study, researchers used a model from Box Jenkins, namely the Auto Regressive Moving Average (ARIMA) to predict the future level of poverty in Indonesia. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not widely used in terms of economy, especially on poverty issues, but AI is one of the alternatives for countries to overcome poverty. Quantitative research in this study uses the ARIMA (Auto Regressive Moving Average) analysis. The poverty dataset used is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) with test data from 2010 to 2023 to 2029. AI can provide alternative recommendations to deal with poverty in the future and in addition to looking at the forecast (Forcasitng) of poverty levels for the next 5 years. Conclusion: The government can make AI one of the tools to find solutions in the form of alternatives to solve poverty problems. Thus, through AI, it can be considered by the government in providing policies for poverty problems

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the profitability of Rural Banks (BPR) in the Malang Raya region and to examine the moderating role of gender diversity on the board of directors in the relationship between credit risk and profitability. This research employs a quantitative, causal approach using secondary data from the financial reports of 21 rural banks from 2019 to 2023, resulting in 125 observations. The dependent variable is profitability, measured by Return on Assets (ROA), while the independent variables include Credit Risk (Non-Performing Loan/NPL), Operational Efficiency (BOPO), Liquidity (Cash Ratio/CR), Loan to Asset Ratio (LAR), and Bank Size. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS Version 27. The results indicate that NPL, BOPO, and Bank Size have a significant negative effect on ROA. Conversely, CR and LAR show a significant positive effect on ROA. The F-test confirms that the independent variables collectively have a significant impact on profitability, with the model explaining 92.4% of the variance in ROA. However, the study finds that gender diversity on the board of directors does not significantly moderate the negative relationship between NPL and ROA. These findings provide practical insights for rural bank management and policymakers, emphasizing the critical importance of credit risk management, operational efficiency, and strategic asset allocation for enhancing financial performance.

This studyiiiaims to analyze the effect of education, regional spending, and infrastructure variables on increasing IDM in the Mataraman area, East Java Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques using the eviews 12 application. The data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Villages, Development ofiiDisadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendesa PDTT) in 2018-2022. The results of the study show that education and regional spending have a positive andiisignificant effect on IDM, while infrastructure does not have a significant effect. Abstract

Food security in a region can be measured from food availability, purchasing power, and consumption level of the population. The study aims to determine household expenditure priorities by analyzing consumption patterns and the level of resilience of farmer households as a form of prevention or handling of food insecurity problems. So a quantity analysis with Daily Value (RDA) and quality analysis with Food Hope Pattern (PPH). The study site was taken purposively. Sedenganmijen Village makes agricultural workers as its main and side livelihood. The sampling method uses saturated sampling (census). The sample selected in this study was 35 farmworker households through a food recall questionnaire within a week. The results of the study explained that the level of resilience in Sedenganmijen Village of 334.93% can be said to be food secure with a food security level exceeding 91-110% AKE. Meanwhile, the diversity of household consumption patterns with a PPH Score of 88.27 where the figure is still less than the provisions of the Normative Income Tax Score, which is 100. Abstract

This research investigates the determinants influencing the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) in the Madura area, focusing on variables such as Average Years of Schooling (RLS), District Minimum Wage (UMK), and the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT). The scope of the study includes the regencies of Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep. Employing a quantitative methodology, the study utilizes panel data regression analysis. The secondary data were sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) spanning the years 2014 to 2023. The analysis revealed that the average duration of schooling (RLS) significantly and positively influences LFPR. Conversely, both the minimum district wage (UMK) and the open unemployment rate (TPT) were found to have no statistically significant impact on labor force participation. These outcomes highlight the critical role of educational enhancement in fostering greater labor market involvement within the Madura region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) growth and economic growth on the unemployment rate in South Sulawesi Prov-ince for the 2013–2023 period. The method used is a quanti-tative approach with multiple linear regression analysis, us-ing secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, DISKOPUKM, and related agencies. The results of the study show that both partially and simultaneously, the growth of MSMEs and economic growth do not have a sig-nificant effect on the unemployment rate. Although both in-dicate a negative relationship direction, the effect is not sta-tistically significant. This shows that unemployment in South Sulawesi is more influenced by other factors such as labor quality, technology adoption, and labor policies. This re-search shows the need to strengthen the capacity of human resources and policies that support the productivity of MSMEs in order to contribute more to labor absorption.
