Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the factors influencing Stunting occurrences in the Merawang Subdistrict, Bangka Regency. Stunting is a chronic nutritional deficiency condition that leads to impaired physical growth in children, as measured by height below age-standard norms. The research adopts an observational approach with a cross-sectional design to explore the relationship between parental education levels, occupation, family income, and early marriage with Stunting prevalence in the region. The study findings reveal that low parental education levels, particularly among mothers, are closely associated with an increased risk of Stunting in children. Additionally, parents working as daily wage laborers with uncertain incomes contribute to inadequate provision of nutritional intake. The research also identifies that low family income typically ranging from IDR 1,000,000 to IDR 2,000,000 per month limits access to nutritious food and adequate healthcare services. Surprisingly, early marriage does not show a significant correlation with Stunting occurrences in this area. The study underscores the importance of improving education and economic stability as crucial steps in combating Stunting. Efforts to raise awareness and enhance access to better education, along with economic interventions to boost family income, can be effectzive strategies for reducing Stunting prevalence in the Merawang Subsdistrict

The research method used is associative research method. Associative research is usually conducted to evaluate the influence or relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The sample in this study was selected based on certain criteria. In this case, the study used a sample of 51 companies listed on the ESGSKEHATI Index major evaluation for the period June to November 2023, and IDX80 major evaluation for the period August 2023 to January 2024. Testing the ESG variable shows that this variable has a positive influence on stock returns. This is known from the t-count value of 3.303 which is greater than the T table value (2.012), as well as the significance value (Sig.) of 0.002 which is smaller than 0.05. Testing the SGR variable shows that this variable has a negative effect on stock returns. This can be seen from the t-count value of -2.969 which is greater than the T table value (2.012), and the significance value (Sig.) of 0.002 which is smaller than 0.05. Testing the PBV variable shows that this variable has no significant effect on stock returns. This can be seen from the t-count value of 1.654 which is smaller than the T table value (2.012), as well as the significance value (Sig.) of 0.105 which is greater than 0.05. By analyzing the relationship between ESG factors, SGR, and firm value on stock performance, this research will provide valuable insights for companies in the ESG Leaders KEHATI and IDX80 sectors in developing sustainable business strategies and increasing market value.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the increase in the components of the human development index (HDI) in South Bangka Regency, namely (1) Life Expectancy (LE), (2) and Mean Years of Schooling (MYS), (3) Per Capita Expenditure (PCE). This research also aims to test the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) time series model to predict the three HDI components. The data in this study uses secondary data obtained from various sources from 2011 to 2022. The results of our study show that, Life expectancy is influenced by access to clean water and the number of doctors in South Bangka Regency, the mean years of schooling are influenced by the number of elementary school teachers and the education budget, and the increase in per capita expenditure is influenced by the increase in government spending. The prediction results show that this model is accurate enough for forecasting. The research results show that the ARIMA model has the best performance for predicting LE, MYS, and PCE where the LE ARIMA model is (2,2,2), the MYS ARIMA model is (3,1,1), and the ARIMA PKE model is (2,1,2).

Abstract

Jember Regency is one of the regional areas in East Java Province, famous for its creative industry potential. The creative industry areas in Jember Regency contribute regional income of IDR 1,000,000 – IDR 6,000,000 per capita, restricted in the tourism and creative industry sectors. They know the significant and promising potential in the creative industry. This study chose creative industry areas as research objects. The aim is to determine the growth and development of creative industries and to analyze social capital's role in supporting creative industry institutions' development in Jember Regency. Based on the results of research using a Likert scale and OLS processing, creative industry players in creative industry areas in Jember Regency, such as Arjasa District, Jelbuk District, Ledokombo District, and Balung District, have creative industries that built with their capital. Even though they still don't have legality and the workers don't have special qualifications, the profit earned from the creative industry can contribute to regional income and product turnover 5 times a month. In addition, it is also that the amount of capital and age does not affect the institutional development of creative industries in the Jember Regency. From the research results, the government's role as a supporter is still not optimal. This condition is supported by research results whose businesses have not been incorporated or have legality. Communication and cooperation between the regional creative industry apparatus and the central government are to be more stringent. Strategies for developing business capacity-building policies and access to financing, increasing the creation of start- up opportunities, and increasing the added value of social enterprises can be applied to support the development of creative industries.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the economic structure in 5 cities in DKI Jakarta Province. The research method uses descriptive quantitative research with data sources from the Central Statistics Agency. The 2 analysis tools used are Location Quotient (LQ) and Williamson Index (IW). The development process of DKI Jakarta Province has experienced obstacles due to the Covid-19 pandemic so that it has experienced economic recovery in 2021 post-pandemic. Location Quotient analysis shows that South Jakarta does not have a superior sector, West Jakarta and Central Jakarta have 1 superior sector while the most superior sectors are in North Jakarta with 6 sectors and East Jakarta with 7 sectors. The Williamson Index shows that 2 regions, namely West Jakarta and Central Jakarta, experienced a decrease in income inequality while North Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta experienced an increase in income inequality. Despite being faced with various problems in regional development in terms of sectoral and income inequality, DKI Jakarta is still a benchmark and reference for development for other regions.
