Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how customers feel about IndiHome's service quality, brand perception, and trust in light of the current Covid-19 outbreak in Surakarta. Participants were people who used the IndiHome service in the Surakarta region. For this study, we employed a sampling strategy that was both statistically and practically effective. In Surakarta, where IndiHome is popular, an online questionnaire was administered to 164 customers. For the quantitative study, we used SPSS version 25's multiple regression function. According to the results, trust plays a significantly lower role in determining customer loyalty than do service quality and brand image. This paper gives scholars and businesspeople in Surakarta insights on the loyalty of IndiHome customers to their service provider.

Abstract

This research delves into the multifaceted relationships between Transfer Pricing, Leverage, Profitability, Profit Management, and Tax Avoidance, with the moderating influence of Institutional Ownership in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The study employs a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach, utilizing a multiple linear regression-based method through EViews. The research population comprises manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) between 2020 and 2021. The purposive sampling method was employed, resulting in a sample of 81 manufacturing companies, totaling 162 observations. Secondary data were collected from the official IDX website www.idx.co.id and www.yahoofinance.com. The findings indicate that Transfer Pricing and Leverage exhibit a significant positive influence on Tax Avoidance in manufacturing companies, while Profitability demonstrates a significant negative effect on Tax Avoidance. Conversely, Profit Management does not exhibit a significant impact on Tax Avoidance. Moreover, Institutional Ownership is identified as a moderator, strengthening the influence of Transfer Pricing and Leverage on Tax Avoidance. However, Institutional Ownership does not reinforce the influence of Profitability and Profit Management on Tax Avoidance. This research contributes valuable insights for policymakers, tax authorities, and corporate practitioners, highlighting the nuanced dynamics of Transfer Pricing, Leverage, Profitability, and Profit Management in shaping tax avoidance strategies, particularly in the context of manufacturing companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Based on data from PISA, it shows that students' mathematical abilities in Indonesia are still relatively low. Therefore, improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities is a way in order to cope with those problems. This research aims to analyze research related to the mathematical reasoning abilities of elementary school students in 2018-2022, considering that a literature review on this topic has never been carried out. The type of this research is a systematic literature review. Data was collected by documenting 20 selected articles in Sinta 1-6 journals and Scopus. The results of this research revealed that topics related to mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary schools have not been widely researched in the last five years. The majority of articles discuss the characteristics and the analysis of students' reasoning abilities mapping in a group. The most widely published Sinta 3 and Scopus articles with the most researched material are geometry. The frequent type of research carried out is quantitative. Suggestions for future research are to conduct further research related to the development of mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary schools, especially on fractions and algebra materia.

Abstract

This research paper provides a comparative analysis of the legal frameworks governing the delisting of issuer shares in Indonesia, the United States, and Singapore. Using a normative legal research approach, supplemented by interviews with members of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and a Member of the House of Representatives Commission XI, the study explores how each jurisdiction addresses the delisting process, particularly focusing on the protection of minority shareholders . The analysis reveals that Indonesia's legal system, influenced by its Civil Law heritage, contrasts with the Common Law approaches of the US and Singapore, especially in terms of shareholder involvement in voluntary delisting and the specificity of conditions for forced delisting. The study suggests enhancements to the Indonesian framework, such as clearer guidelines for shareholder approval in delisting decisions and more transparent criteria for forced delisting. These recommendations aim to improve the protection of minority shareholders within Indonesia's Capital Market.
