Abstract

The coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic that has infected many countries including Indonesia has had an impact on various sectors, especially the industrial sector, many companies have suffered losses and even closed their businesses, and this has also affected the labor economy. Likewise with PT. MASPION II is a giant company engaged in providing goods that has thousands of employees and factory workers, so this paper aims to provide an overview of the economic conditions of workers during this pandemic. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. This article examines the economic decline experienced by industrial workers at PT. MASPION II during the Covid-19 pandemic the results showed that there was a decrease in production caused by a decrease in the number of orders and the process of importing materials with a smaller frequency than the period before the pandemic. This decrease in production has an impact on reducing the working hours of workers which then affects the amount of wages they get, this condition is very hard on the family economy, but it is fully realized that this condition must be handled wisely, saving steps and having other sources of income are taken in the hope of being able to cover basic needs or needs. household routine.

Abstract

This scientific study is dedicated to the Department of Education and Teaching (P&P) of Mappi-Papua Regency which is expected to be able to contribute to improving the performance of employees at the agency. Reviewing Servant leadership, Work motivation, Employee performance and Organizational commitment with regression analysis as a test tool. The results show. Servant leadership has an impact on work motivation by 35.1% with a positive coefficient of 0.563. Where the leader needs to pay attention to the support of facilities and infrastructure in supporting the work process, as well as good relations and communication within the agency. Servant leadership has an impact on work performance by 42.6% and a positive coefficient value of 0.527. Leaders need to place human resources in the field of work in accordance with the knowledge and abilities of these human resources, determine work achievement targets according to the type of work, prioritize work that is urgent in accordance with the situation and needs, both needs within the agency and the public service, reports the results of activities, evaluate and see the sustainability of the program of activities that have been carried out, and it is necessary to pay attention to time discipline (hours for office/going home). Servant leadership has an impact on organizational commitment by 47.3% and a positive coefficient value of 0.473. Leaders need to form a work team and empower, and give confidence to all staff in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Fair treatment needs to be considered in the agency, both in terms of assigning tasks and giving sanctions to violates agency rules.

Abstract

Triggered by the organizational restructuring of PT Indoperta Jawa Timur, this is a study of the influence of employee commitment, competence and work motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance. Uses an explanatory approach with quantitative and qualitative methods with descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS applications. The results obtained are there positive and significant influence between employee commitment variables on employee job satisfaction. That employee competence shows a positive direct effect on employee job satisfaction. That employee work motivation shows a positive but not significant direct effect on job satisfaction. That employee commitment shows a significant positive direct effect on employee performance. However, employee commitment is not a parameter in measuring employee performance through job satisfaction variables. That the competency variable shows a negative and insignificant direct effect on employee performance. This is the indirect effect through job satisfaction. Work motivation shows a positive and insignificant direct effect on employee performance. Likewise, the indirect influence through job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive direct effect but not significant on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to obtain empirical evidence of personality abilities and work motivation in encouraging the improvement of organizational culture and organizational performance, so besides obtaining empirical evidence it is necessary to increase the mediating ability of organizational culture. The writing uses quantitative methods, and the method used is the SEM-PLS program. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees of KPP Pratama Bitung. Empirical evidence obtained in the form of personality and high motivation and able to encourage increased strengthening of organizational culture and organizational performance. In addition, it was also found that organizational culture is able to act as a strong mediation. Accurate and careful work results in the attention to detail indicator, obeying regulations even though they are not monitored in the aggressiveness indicator, and employee careers are considered by the organization in the stability indicator are items from each indicator that strongly support the creation of a strong organizational culture at KPP Pratama Bitung. This finding is supported by descriptive statistics the four research variables that get respondents' responses are high on average, characterized by sympathy for others, fluid and non-rigid working relationships, obeying the rules even though they are not supervised, as well as the percentage of realized tax revenues.

Abstract

This writing analyzes the effect of workload and competence on employee performance, either directly or indirectly through the mediation of work stress. Quantitative method using the SEM-PLS program. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire which was distributed to 90 actors in the procurement of goods/services in Pasuruan Regency. Empirical evidence obtained is that workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance directly, but is not mediated by work stress, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance directly, but is not mediated by work stress. So even though there are demands for the needs of the environment, the organization and the individual employees concerned, as well as demands for mastery of knowledge, skills and work attitudes, these things cannot increase/decrease the results of performance achievements, benefits and employee behavior or not achieve work targets. This is because the actors in the procurement of goods/services are able to turn it into eustress, which is the result of a healthy, positive, and constructive (constructive) response to stress.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance at PT. KAI DAOP IV Semarang Indonesia. The population in this study were permanent employees at PT. KAI Daop IV Semarang as many as 215 people. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, namely sampling based on criteria or considerations, including: permanent employees at PT. KAI Daop IV Semarang, which has worked for at least 2 years, so that 103 samples were obtained. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on job satisfaction. Other results show that there is a positive and significant effect of organizational culture, organizational commitment and job satisfaction on employee performance. The results of the mediation effect test showed that job satisfaction was able to mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance, while job satisfaction was unable to mediate the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance.

Abstract

Knowing the current condition of the Sumber Rejeki BUMDes, how the Sumber Rejeki BUMDes development strategy is, how to create new strategies to provide solutions to overcome various existing obstacles. This study uses a qualitative approach with an interpretive research design with five informants used. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the strategy for developing and managing the Sumber Rejeki BUMDes is by paying attention to the previously determined BUMDes strategy, potential environmental conditions, and strategic plans implemented for future BUMDes and it is necessary to map the BUMDes strategy and then combine it with a new strategy through benchmarking. The choice of strategies that can be chosen by the First Sumber Rejeki BUMDes by maintaining superior products has been carried out since the beginning of the establishment. Second, make strategic innovations that are easy for Sumber Rejeki BUMDes to carry out so that later they can answer the needs of the community. Third, benchmarking or modifying several good BUMDes strategies to be taken while still adjusting to the existing environmental conditions in Sumberporong Village.

Abstract

Low performance can be caused by technical aspects such as lack of knowledge from an employee, high workload and lack of commensurate remuneration for high work volumes. The aim is to determine the role of training and education as well as the provision of incentives in improving employee performance. The method used is a qualitative method which is then presented in descriptive form. Training and education have a very big influence on improving employee performance at the Navigation District office because there are many employees who are placed in fields that are not in accordance with their fields of knowledge while the provision of incentives is also very influential on improving performance, this can be seen from the number of employees who have completed the right job targets. less time and errors in work. The provision of incentives greatly motivates employees at the Class III Navigation District office to work so that it is very influential on improving employee performance, this can be seen from the work targets that are always completed on time and errors can be minimized and this can be monitored through the performance appraisal application. and employee performance calculations

Abstract

As one of the livelihoods, barramundi traders in Merauke City determine the profitable selling price determination strategy influenced by profit, product and cost factors. The purpose of this study is to find out the strategy of determining the selling price of fish that benefits traders as well as the factors that affect it. This study is a field survey study with the population as a saturated sample. Research data is collected in the form of interviews, and questionnaires. This research method is qualitative and quantitative method. The results showed traders used 6 strategies from 7 strategies in determining the selling price of profitable fish, namely distribution strategies, promotional strategies, quality strategies, psychological pricing strategies, competitive pricing strategies, discounts and cost-based pricing, while in partial tests showed costs affect selling price determination and simultaneously profit, product and cost affect the selling price of barramundi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the socio-economic benefits of wallet bird nest cultivation for Benangin II Village, East Teweh District, North Barito Regency. This study used a qualitative approach, while in collecting data the researchers used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation from 24 informants. As for the analysis, the author uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of this study it was found that swallow nest cultivation has enormous potential as a new type of business that has very large profits. But there are also swiftlet nest cultivation businesses that are successful and successful depending on how the owner of the swallow's nest building takes care to produce a lot of swallow's nests living in the building. The socio-economic benefits of bird nest cultivation for the community for the community in Benangin II Village, East Teweh District, North Barito with the assistance provided by the owners of the swallow's nest building for the community in the form of construction of alleys, renovation of places of worship, and renovation of kindergarten school buildings.
