Abstract

Acoustic parameter value required for conference room is the loudness and clarity of votes received by each participant. To get the quantification of these parameters, the necessary measurements of the distribution of acoustic parameters include SPL, C80, D50, and RT. SPL distribution measurement is done by using the sound source berupawhite noise of loudspeakeryang placed in leadership positions (front) and the receiver (in this case microphones) in the viewing area. As for the measurement of RT, C80 and D50, is done by providing a source of steady sound level of 100 dB or front impulsdi response resources. As the space for meetings (conferences), the space has a dimension of 10 m x 14 m are expected every participant will receive sound directly from the source. From the measurement results, the value of the acoustic parameter space has a different value of SPL between front and rear position reaches more than 8 dB, while the reverberation time parameter values from 1.0 to 1.28 s, C80 by 1–4 dB and D50 is 41–55%. This value meets the prerequisites as a conference room, but the need for improvements to the distribution parameter SPL. For that we need special treatment to the distribution of SPL in order to be equitable. In the end, all participants will feel comfortable when attending meetings or activities performed in that space.

Abstract

A large eruption of Mount Gamalama happened nearly 350 years ago has left the frozen lava rocks that are now spread in the form of black stone located in the North-East coast of the island of Ternate, called batu angus (Angus stone). This paper reports the basic analysis including the phase content, crystal structure and particle morphology of the frozen lava rock, Angus stone, briefly. Based on the XRD pattern, Angus stone contains up to 20% of magnetic phases. The analysis of XRF and XRD data reveals that there are dominantly non-magnetic phases (silicate phases) in the Angus stone with the combination of Si-Al-K-Ca-O elements. Elemental distribution map from SEM/EDX image shows that there is a clear separation between non-magnetic and magnetic phases in the crushed powders indicating the easiness to obtain both phases separately. This study proves that Angus stone has potential application as a base material for the preparation of magnetic and non-magnetic functional materials.

Abstract

Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is a dye sensitized solar cells are formed by a sandwich structure where there are five parts include: glass ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) as a substrate; TiO2 as a semiconductor material; chlorophyll dye as an electron donor; electrolyte as electron transfer. Nanometer-sized TiO2 powder obtained through synthesis by coprecipitation method. Measurements were taken at the power of 100 mW/cm2. The results of the efficiency of DSSC using active carbon as a catalyst in the reference electrode, produces a larger percentage than black carbon and graphite, which is of 0.05% for active carbon, black carbon to 0.032%, 0.029% for graphite.

Abstract

Confined Aquifer identification in Sambirejo District using Geoelectric resistivity methods with Schlumbeger. array. The measurement were performed by using a resistvitymeter OYO McOHM-el model 2119C with a length of current electrode is 350 meters. survey location in Sambirejo Distric with five geolistrik point i.e TS1(Sidoharjo, Musuk), TS2 (Gempol), TS3 (Sambirejo), TS4 (Dagangan, Blimbing) dan TS5 (Sidorejo, Blimbing). The data processing used IP2win software version 3.1.2c. The research is to identify of litology, depth and thick layer with confined aquifer potention at the research area. The result shows that litology of aquifer layers were detected i.e. clayed sands, sands, gravel sands dan breccia. The depth of confined aquifer detect between 23.95 meters to > 168,3 meters and layers thick between 39,6 meters to 98.4 meters. The Confined aquifer have big groundwater source i.e. TS1, TS4 and TS5.
