Abstract

Knowledge is contextual, relevant and actionableinformation. Knowledge is different from data andinformation, because it is inside a person s mind. To makeknowledge become intangible asset that can be managedand used by many people requires a knowledgemanagement.Islamic Boarding School of Roudlatul Quran Metro city isa educational foundation with resourceful teaching staffs,but they are not well-organized, so their teaching skill isconsidered static because they are not accustomed tohaving a share of teaching knowledge and materials withothers. With the implementation of knowledgemanagement, it is expected that the teachers teaching andsubject knowledge will become intangible assets that canused optimally.The development of Knowledge Management System(KMS) uses Knowledge Management Roadmap (KMR).Knowledge Management Roadmap helps the developmentof KMS development implementation, from makingBusiness-Driven knowledge, analysis and design, systemdevelopment and implementation. The systemdevelopment method done in the making of KMS usesObject Oriented System. Abstract

Problems proposed in this study are: (1) How isthe learning process of introduction to Lampung scriptfor kindergarten students through ICT? (2) What aresupporting and inhibiting factors in the learning processof introduction to Lampung script for kindergartenstudents through ICT?The objectives of the research are: (1) to describethe learning process of introduction to Lampung scriptfor kindergarten students through ICT and (2) to describesupporting and inhibiting factors in the learning processof introduction to Lampung script for kindergartenstudents through ICT.This research was conducted at Rasyidul JannahKindergarten, Bandar Lampung. As the focuses of thisresearch are the kindergarten teachers and 24 studentsgroup B aged 5-6 years. This research took place in thesecond semester of the academic year 2014-2015. Thisstudy uses qualitative descriptive approach as theresearcher describes all the process related to thelearning process of introduction to Lampung script doneby the teachers through ICT. This study used aqualitative descriptive approach, where researcher triedto describe all the events in relation to the introduction ofLampung script done by teachers through ICT. Thefinding of this research suggested that ICT is effective tohelp these kindergarten students in the learning processof introduction to Lampung script. The supportingfactors in introduction to Lampung script learning are theteachers, the students and surrounding society whoshowed enthusiasm in the learning process. Meanwhile,the inhibiting factors are students’ difficulties inpronouncing the alphabets and some similar scriptwriting shapes. In accordance with this research finding,it is recommended for the management of earlychildhood education to provide VCD of Lampung scriptlearning animation and for the kindergarten teachers tocarry out teaching Lampung script using the VCD as partof teacher’s professional skills.Keywords: Learning, Early Childhood, Animation,Lampung script

Abstract

In the past time when ancient kingdoms still exist, Indonesian people have some unique methods in communicating and announcing important news of information in community. In the villages and some small cities, people applied these ancient communicating methods. It’s affective and cheap on cost. Until nowadays, those methods are still common. There is one most ancient method to announce information that related with community interest. The village leader goes to religion house such as mosque, church, or temple. Another way is implemented by knocking bamboo gong. For each sound of bamboo gong represents the vary occurred events such as the sounds for many times knocking is to fire, sounds with a bit long and a few times is to announce a theft case, different sounds are to inform citizens about the volcano eruption, flood, earthquake and other kind of disasters. Currently, when the internet era is emerging, the method to informing something important in the community is also done by internet. Moreover, Indonesia with area of 1,919,440 kilometer squares with 35 provinces and as an island country is a very big country in terms of range and population. The existence of internet eases the delivering information in the community.   KEY WORDS: information, ancient method, internet.

Quality of a university can be seen in the average of howlong a collage student take to graduate, how long forgraduates to have a job also can be seen in study time inuniversity. Every university study time will variate withdifferent student in the university.Every major responsiblefor study development of scholars.They also have a task topredict study time length of every college student to decideand anticipate student who skip class that will cause a badresult in major performance.It is important to be done, especially in Informatics andBusiness Institute Darmajaya to maintain quality andperformance of each major. Abstract

In serving employees are expected to carry out all thetasks that have been given with full responsibility, and isalso expected to have a high loyalty and dedication inpractice no exception for apparatus or employees whoserve in the community. The dynamics of a very diversecommunity today demanded that the apparatus / employeein order to work optimally in providing services to thepublic. Implementation of a breakthrough in efforts toexpand the authority to explore sources of revenue shouldbe directed as much as possible for the benefit of theregion and the efforts that led to improved quality ofhuman resources should be based on the proportionality ofthe capabilities and acceptability continue. Not only that,the efforts of others to do as directing employees to theprofessionalism in terms of appropriate staffing agencyneeds gradually and surely must be based on objectivityand proportionality of the capabilities and acceptabilityauthorities concerned to accelerate the achievement oforganizational goals.

Abstract

This research is aimed at knowing the implementation ofSpeak English with Me program toward speakingability of students of English course at UPT Bahasa of IBIDarmajaya. This research uses random samplingtechnique where there are 50 out of 685 students ofElementary English 2 (level 2) taken as the sample. In theresearch, there are two kinds of tool used to collect thedata; they are questionnaire and documentation. Abstract

We propose a new method of feature extraction in orderto improve the effective of image retrieving by using apartial Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)compressed images algorithm. Prior to that, we prune theimages database by pre-query step based on coloursimilarity, in order to eliminate image candidates. Ourfeature extraction can be carried out directly to JPEGcompressed images. We extract two features of DCTcoefficients, DC feature and AC feature, from a JPEGcompressed image. Then we compute the Euclideandistances between the query image and the images in adatabase in terms of these two features. The image querysystem will give each retrieved image a rank to define itssimilarity to the query image. Moreover, instead of fullydecompressing JPEG images, our system only needs to dopartial entropy decoding. Therefore, our proposed schemecan accelerate the effectiveness of retrieving images.According to our experimental results, our system is notonly highly effective but is also capable of performingsatisfactoril.KEY WORDS: JPEG, DC coefficient, image retrieval, compresseddomain

Abstract

Investment failure in the field of information technologyto improve the company performance mostly happensbecause the planning is maximal. One method toovercome this investment failure is by developing aplanning process of information system development,consisting of data architecture, application architecture,and architecture.The method used in constructing the enterprisearchitecture model is Enterprise Architecture Planning(EAP). EAP explains about data, application, andtechnology which will be required to support the businessprocess at the Human Resource (SDM) bureau where itwill be able to produce a blueprint for data architecture,application and technology as well as the planimplementation aimed at providing the needs withsustainable detail level in applying the idea of the systembuilt.In architecture EAP explains about data, application andtechnology to be used to support the business process atHuman Resource bureau where it will produce a blueprintfor data architecture, application and technology as wellas implementation plans aimed at providing the needswith the sustainable detail level in applying the idea tobuild the system.The construction of the enterprise architecture model ofSDM bureau at IBI Darmajaya is limited on employeeaffairs and not focused on the application or technicaldesign.KEY WORDS : EAP, Enterprise Architecture

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country rich innatural resources and livelihood of theIndonesian population of predominantlyagricultural products. In the development of theagricultural economy caused by a problem in thefield of agriculture as well as in the availabilityof venture capital that will be used by farmers inthe provision of seeds and fertilizer as well asmaintenance until production is required for therole of cooperatives in alleviating bebab offarmers.According to the Act - Act No. 25 in 1992, saidthat "Cooperatives are business entities whosemembers - the person or legal entity whichbases its cooperative activities based on theprinciple of cooperation as well as peopleseconomic movement based on the principle ofthe family" With the role of cooperatives in theprovision of soft loans in the availability ofventure capital and cooperatives can play a rolein the marketing of agricultural products. Inaddition to the effort, this study also describesthe effect of the economy toward ter cooperativefarmers and also to the social and cultural life ofsociety. And the role of cooperatives inincreasing the incomes of farming communitiesand also its role in the sustainability ofagriculture and social life.KEY WORDS : agriculture, farmers
